Cyberpunk 2077: Crimson Resurrection

The year is 2080. Militech's audacious strike on Arasaka's summit in Tokyo sparks a cataclysmic confrontation and the prelude to the Fifth Corporate War. Invaded by clandestine AI armies born from the remnants of a revolutionary operation called Project Cynosure, Arasaka resorts to desperate measures to combat the assault, including the resurrection of a legendary edgerunner that they hope will turn the tide.

Finally finished these movie posters I made for a concept Cyberpunk 2077 movie continuing from the Devil Ending, set in Neo-Tokyo. <3 This is an AU where it connects to the discoveries found in Phantom Liberty.

An AV full of corpo-rats drowned in the dust and sand - a beautiful sight. Sucks for the nomads though, especially Panam. Looks like our dame keeps losing everything she loves. Correction - almost everything. In other news, Hellman's surely shitting his pants knowing that the game's up. He's all yours. Just be careful - those Kang Tao pissheads won't be going down without a fight.

Finally doing things my way: we grab that 'Saka son-of-a-bitch by his corposuit collar, leave a bloody trail of destruction in our wake. Toss in a swipe at Kang Tao, too. Look at you, V. Just might make something of you yet. Anyway, one thing's for sure - we're close. Sure hope Hellman spills what he's got. And that what he's got is answers.

Sometimes I really wonder: exactly how many times did they try to implant Johnny into a corpse? How many failed trials?

Did they discard the copies they made? Are there other prototypes? How many versions of Johnny existed only for a millisecond, a brief moment, woken up and then reverted back to his original image?

Johnny calls Mikoshi a prison, but being copied over and over onto fresh prototypes, used and reused without respect or care...what do you call that? It sounds like hell.

wtf happens to Hellman after the sunset motel?

like, after Goro threatens to waterboard him and we have our chat with Johnny, he kinda disappears from the game until the Devil ending and even if you did all this before meeting with Oda, he never mentions Hellman or what he did with him.

Why does Hellman react like this to V telling Takemura he looks good. Is he homophobic ? He looks so uncomfortable. has he ever seen gay people before

Similar to it NOT being a good sign if an EMS responder is freaking out, the visceral horrified reaction this corporate inventor had without even caring about me as a human being is very clearly a bad sign.

Love how Johnny, in the middle of us trying to pick each other's brains in an attempt to get what we want out of the situation, just went over to the bed in the corner and flopped down, occasionally raising his head in our direction when something piqued his interest.

Also also I love the little interaction where Hellman is trying to insinuate that Johnny is getting influence over my decisions (which. I mean. He is, but by convincing, not by actually rewiring my brain because he can't really do that to me, the player.), after I voice that he can have a different opinion but has no control over my choices, Johnny just piping up with this mix of frustrated and I want to say proud? tone of voice starting off with "damn straight" before describing how annoyingly stubborn I am.

When a Streetkid meets a Nomad

Vilem paid a lot of eddies to Rogue, and she delivered. She got intel on Anders Hellman, the man who created the relic. According to her, he was going to be on a kang tao convoy. The challenge was going to be bringing said convoy down to snatch Hellman. Rogue suggested using a nomad who knows the land beyond Night City. She also had a nomad in mind. Panam Palmer

Vilem met up with Panam. She was hostile at first until hs told told her that if she helped him get Hellman, then he'd help her get her ride and cargo back from the gig that got botched on her end. He wasn't too keen on this whole 'favor for a favor' deal that Rogue got him roped into, but if it meant getting closer to having a cure for his brain parasite, Vilem was willing to do it. What was he about to get himself into?

They went to Panam's old clan for help with getting her ride back. Unfortunately, her two buddies couldn't help her physically, though they did give them some equipment that would be of help. Vilem was asked to keep an eye on Panam via Scorpion and he obliged. The two of them managed to get Panam's ride back, and the cargo. She convinced him to help her settle the score with the guy who screwed her over. As someone who was on his own vendetta, Vilem had no room to judge her and agreed

A nap, and one nightmare later, and Panam came up with a plan to help Vilem. They went on their way, Johnny tagging along. They overloaded a power grid, then waited for the opportunity to bring down Hellman's convoy. Only problem was that Panam's clan saw it go down and went to it, getting caught by Keng Tao. Vilem had to take them down.

Mitch managed to survive, but the rest of the clan, Scorpion included, were killed. Panam took the loss hard, and Vilem felt at fault. Their plan was what made it all happen. However, he had a man to catch up to, so he and Panam tracked Kang Tao to a gas station.

Vilem takes out the remaining Kang Tao operatives and finally has his man. He knocks Hellman out, gives Takemura a call like he said he would, and after saying his goodbyes to Panam and Mitch, he brings Hellman to a nearby motel and wakes him up.

A conversation with Hellman reveals that the chip was experimental, a prototype. There is nothing that can be done for Vilem except for 'hospice care'. Vilem demands the blueprints of the relic and then hands the reigns over to Goro to do with as he pleases.

Vilem starts to feel awful and ends up on a bench with Johnny ranting a bit. He asks Johnny what he really wants. Johnny tells him he wants to settle the score with Arasaka once and for all, then explains why. Vilem is too sick to really focus on the rockstar's words, but in a way he understands why Johnny is so angry. He agrees to help, reluctantly. One lead gone. All that was left was finding Maman Brigitte and seeing if Hanako Arasaka would listen to reason. Vilem was certain Hanako was going to be a bust, but he had no other choice. His leads were drying up.
