Hold up. Is Andersdotter the witch of the Echoing Woods?

The Witch of the Echoing Woods is implied to escape her own storybook at the end of the artifact set story. (The golden butterflies on the cover are gone.)

She speaks of the story she's in as if she were its author, seeking a home for her characters.

The witch loves her golden butterfly ornaments. On that note, check out the bookshelf next to the Envisaged Echoes painting, and Wolfy's reward chest.

Also butterfly shaped: the book we interact with to enter an Imaginarium Theater battle. The front door. The sofa window.

And of course — and the thing that got me looking in the first place — since very early on, Genshin's artifact sets have given worldbuilding teasers for upcoming or current content. (5.0: early Natlan + Cataclysm-era Natlan. 4.6: early Natlan + Remuria. 4.3: Remuria/Fontaine + fairy tale. 4.0: Remuria + Cataclysm-era Fontaine. 3.6: Narzissekreuz + Khvarena. 3.3: Nabu Malikata + Gurabad. You get the idea.)

...except that 4.3's Nighttime Whispers in the Echoing Woods seems to be the same kind of standalone as Moonlit Bamboo Forest. Given that Andersdotter was to feature heavily in 4.7 and 4.8, this seems like the most plausible connection.

Some hexenzirkle designs to evict these ladies out of my head during exams. Hopefully i made them recognisable enough to distinguish who is who…? 😭

Rhine: I have so many, SO many iterations of her design but the one thing I want to keep consistent is both the ‘regalness/royalness’ of her design due to the game insinuating she was an important and possibly high ranking khaenrian, but also keeping it somewhat practical as first and foremost, she’s an alchemist. I haven't drawn it yet but I also wanted to draw her weapon to be a sword? A fencing sword specifically, since Albedo’s first few NA’s resemble that of a fencer. The eyepatch is must for a khaenrian character and the monstrous arm I wanted to represent Dain’s (purely for aesthetics sake, but I remember reading a post here about Rhine, in her pursuit for perfection being inherently and unchangeably flawed and oooohf that shit stuck)

Alice: Ofc I wanted to give her the same bubbly vibe as Klee though I was stuck on whether to make her design lean into that roundness or go sleek? Ultimately i went with the first just to keep more variety in all of the characters. I like imagining the hexen kids pick up things from their parents thus the steampunk vibe for Alice as she’s an inventor and tinkerer like Klee (potions and chemicals would have been more appropriate i suppose but i already did that gimmick with rhinedottir). A dash of four leaf clovers and a dodoco on the hat and that was that :]

Barb: Dont ask me how her hat works. i dont know. It just floats. Her design was deffo the simplest of three just bcus i didnt have much to work on beyond stars, moon, fate, and stuff and thus, it’s very derivative of Mona’s design elements unfortunately. I’ll probably go in later to make her look a bit older too…? I’m satisfied with the level of cunt she’s giving but I don’t think she fits Mona’s description of ‘old hag’ yet HAH

Haha, always looking to add some pizzazz."

Boredom and internet access and endless lines has allowed me to make all the hexen ladies in the sims. Don’t think this is qualifiable to go on my art acc so. I’m sharing it here. Because it took me three hours. And a lot of cc hunting.

I gave them matching outfits in this but they all very much do have their own defined fashion sense and style which is not showcased here wskhjhsk

I also started building them a plot buuuttt im probably going to wait till the tarot card and life + death dlcs come out and acquire them (very legally cough) before progressing further. There is NO landscaping so it looks. not great. BUT TRUST!

so you’re meaning to tell me rhinedottir ate the heart of naberius post andersdotter-death. meaning she ate it, and became one with the shade of life, when her last connection (in a sense) to humanity was officially cut . Okay

But on another note, the new room in the library is definitely related to Alice and the Hexenzirkel.

There is a fortune teller in the new room in the library and in one of the fortunes, Alice was mentioned.

Wolfy also talks about someone called Madam Mage. With the mention of Alice, I do believe it is likely the Hexenzirkel. But which member is it ?

With the theme relating to stories and the hint that the fortune was made by a writer, it is likely Andersdotter ( code name M). According to the Genshin Wiki, Andersdotter is the author of The Boar Princess, who left the book behind for the other members of the Hexenzirkel. She was also represented by the cover of the book in “The Mages Tea party” cutscene.

Genshin Impact (2020).

It is likely that Andersdotter is the Madam Mage that Wolfy was talking about but who knows for sure until all levels of the new domain are finished for its first run.
