What is the most recent series you've finished? 🏰 I grabbed & read War of the Bastards last month. It was a really twisted, unexpected ending to the Royal Bastards series. The 2nd book (City of Bastards) is probably still my favorite out of the three, but overall this is still a really fun, unique fantasy trilogy. I love the way it combines a fantasy aesthetic with somewhat contemporary language. . . Booksleeve is from @loveyoumorestudio & NOVEL10 saves you on any order! . . Can we just take a minute to admire how gorgeous Royal Bastards is? Seriously this cover 😍 and THE MAP! I loveeeeeeeeee maps! . I've not been hearing much talk about this one, but I'm really excited to give it a try! It sounds 100% like the kind of book I will love! If you've read it let me know what you thought 💚 . QTOD: Do you use the maps in books? I love them. I love looking at them. I love studying them. I love how pretty and detailed a lot of them are. But apparently, I don’t love using them. 😅 Honestly, when I get caught up in the story, I tend to forget that a map exists, no matter how helpful one may be for my reading comprehension. Don’t get me wrong, I still think they’re useful to have; it’s just that I’m not great with geography. QOTD: What book are you looking forward to the most this month? . I’m REALLY looking forward to reading CITY OF BASTARDS by #AndrewShvarts as soon as it comes out on Tuesday. But let’s be real, with Barnes & Noble’s track record, I’d probably get on Thursday or Friday instead. *sigh* Why can’t companies plan to ship out pre-orders so they’ll arrive on their release dates?
