📝 Notion Templates that will make your writer brain SING - Because organization doesn't have to be boring, writers!
📚 Workbooks that dig DEEP - We're talking character psychology that goes beyond "what's their favorite color" and into the JUICY stuff that makes readers obsessed

📖 Story-to-Novel Service (Coming Soon!) - Because that brilliant idea deserves to become a full book, and I'll help you get there!
🌸 Exclusive Content on Ko-fi (Soon!) - Behind-the-curtain peeks at my chaotic-but-somehow-productive writing process and ALL the insider tips I normally keep secret
🎨 Aesthetic Inspiration that isn't basic - Playlists that aren't just "lofi beats to write to" and visuals that will make your imagination EXPLODE
💬 Community Events where we actually CONNECT - No awkward silence, just writers supporting writers and making MAGIC happen together
Listen, the writing journey isn't just about typing "THE END" - it's about enjoying the 2AM breakthrough moments, the tears over deleted scenes, and the pure JOY when a character suddenly decides to do something you never planned.
I hope my blog can help you, don't forget to join my community WRS! 💫

A Day of Fun
(If they lived above the ocean.)
Nikolaus: You never took me to an amusement park as a kid.
Leander (reading): That’s correct.
Nikolaus (upset): 'That’s correct?' That’s all you have to say?
Leander (still reading): That’s correct, Sire.
Nikolaus (scoffs): I don’t accept that.
Leander: Denial is unhealthy, Your Majesty.
(Nikolaus grabs Leander’s arm)
Leander (annoyed): Where are we going?
Nikolaus: To make up for lost time.
(30 minutes later, they arrive at an amusement park)
Nikolaus: 😄
Leander: 😑
Nikolaus (excitedly): What do you want to get on first?
Leander: The limo back.
Nikolaus: I feel like you’re not a merry-go-round guy. What about the big swings?
Leander: I feel like I don’t want to be here.
Nikolaus (pouts, then his eyes light up): Oooh! I wanna check that rollercoaster out. Let’s go!
Leander (groans and reluctantly goes)
(Five coasters later, there’s a malfunction and someone falls out)
Nikolaus:...
Leander: You know what, amusement parks ARE fun. I regret not going sooner.
Nikolaus: No, that wasn’t supposed to be the fun par—
Leander: We should do this every week.
Nikolaus: That actually does sound kinda ni—
Leander: And sabotage the rides, so more people fall out.
Nikolaus:...I’m just gonna count this as a win for me.
[Continuation of me putting my Changing Waters cast in goofy situations! For the actual novel, here's the link to its Amazon page. Story description below!)
What rests deep in the ocean? Mermaids? Monsters? Magic? All that and more.
Far below where any human can survive, there is a kingdom called Jiol. Kostas is a 14-year-old sorcerer who resides there with his mother and friends, but it is not their home. A home is filled with love, not fear and death. It is merely where they try to survive while the royal guards, the Patrollers, constantly raid the village. They kill anyone with tails, webbing, or fins—anyone who mutated for this underwater existence.
To protect innocent lives from the unending attacks, Kostas must get stronger even if this involves going behind his mother’s back. Training, sorcery, and seers are the villagers’ only hope against the Patrollers and a royal vizier who is as cruel as he is powerful. If Kostas cannot succeed as a protector of the village, Jiolans like him will be massacred to the point of extinction.

FEBRUARY MINI REVIEWS, pt 1:
Two books I knew I wanted to read in February were Bemused by Farrah Rochon and Freedom is a Constant Struggle by Angela Y. Davis. Here are my mini reviews:
Tumblr media
Bemused by Farrah Rochon
This is such a sweet book! The muses were definitely my favorite part of the Hercules movie so I loved this take on their backstory. It’s pretty fast-paced and adventurous which made it an entertaining book to listen to while I did chores.
Tumblr media
Freedom is a Constant Struggle by Angela Y. Davis
Despite the title, I found much of this book to be comforting. For one, we have Angela Davis, a woman who was once targeted by our government, sharing her insights on every issue from Black Feminism & Civil Rights to "terrorism" & occupied Palestine. Through all of the activism she has been a part of she is still here & I'm incredibly grateful that she hasn't given up the fight. Davis's words will probably be echoing in my mind for days & weeks to come.

Aphrodite by Phoenica Rogerson
goddess, liar, survivor, icon.
Pre-Reading Thoughts
From Herc to here, I’ve been waiting to see what Phoenicia Rogerson would do with a goddess like Aphrodite—misunderstood, mythologised, and more than just a pretty face. This was never going to be a love story. It’s a story about love as power, love as weapon, and the danger of wanting to be adored.
Post-Reading
As I thought...
Aphrodite owns her own narrative here—sarcastic, seductive, but always a few moves ahead. The writing crackles, the gods are dysfunctional and petty, and the politics of Olympus feel sharp enough to draw blood. This isn’t romance—it’s revolution with mascara and myth.
It surprised me by...
…showing us the quiet ache beneath all the beauty. She doesn’t just want to be worshipped. She wants to be safe. The story does slow a little in parts, but the emotional payoff is worth it—especially when Aphrodite finally decides she’s done playing nice.
Music Pairing
🎵 Featured Song: “The Archer” – Taylor Swift
🎶 Vibe Album: Reputation – Taylor Swift
🎧 Artist Rec: BANKS
Vibe Check
🎨 Colour Palette: Gold, oxblood, marble white
🎬 Soundtrack: Orchestral pop with bite
☀️ Season: Scorching summer with stormclouds gathering
🎭 Mood: Elegantly defiant
🌸 Scent: Myrrh, rose petals, and smoke
Tarot Pull – The Empress (Tarot of the 78 Doors)
She’s framed not as a ruler on a throne, but as a woman welcomed by children—open, vulnerable, and full of grace. For all her games and seductions, this Aphrodite longs to be held, not just admired. She wants love to mean home, not war. In this novel, her power isn’t just in beauty—it’s in her desire to belong.

Men often described the girl as having hair the color of wheat. Others called it the color of caramel, or occasionally the color of honey. The girl wondered why men so often used food to describe women's features. There was a hunger to such men that was best avoided.

Why A Torch Against the Night Will Captivate You
Hello fellow booklovers!! Let’s talk about A Torch Against the Night by Sabaa Tahir—the second book in the Ember in the Ashes series and one that completely swept me off my feet. This sequel was everything I wanted and more: dark, emotional, action-packed, and filled with the kind of slow-burning tension that leaves you breathless. If the first book lit the fire, this one poured oil on…
