It was a pleasure to collab with @mrbotanyb on the DBH AU I've had in my mind for a while for the @destielaureversebb 😊💙

Destiel confrontation while Naomi tries to control Cas - A Shock to the System by MrBotanyB - 31.03.2025

So this concept is everything that started the whole shebang ! I've been wanting to do a DBH and SPN crossover since 2020, and I've always imagined a rewrite of the Crypt Scene in Goodbye Stranger in the Detroit: Become Human universe with Naomi acting as a more agressive AI than Amanda in the game :3
Done using watercolors, ink pens, alcohol markers, graphite pencils, acrylic paint pens, colored pencils and Photoshop for the glow effect and the dialogues

The Android
The Android https://ift.tt/3NnDoli by WhoIPretended2Be Dean Winchester fixes things. Keeps his head down. Follows orders, mostly. Doesn’t ask questions. Becoming Human
read it on the AO3 at https://ift.tt/LORB3HF
by Angeleyz4ever
Welcome to the city of Detroit, Michigan in the year 2222.
Once the home to the industrial age, the city is now the home to android creation. Androids' role in human society is as helpers and standard workers. The human-like machines are monitored and controlled by their creator... until something changes. They start to feel as humans do, leading them to react like humans.
When this happens they are marked as deviant and the law calls in Commander Castiel. As Commander of the Garrison, it is Castiel's job to bring down those droids with human feelings who are considered to be uncontrolled deviants of the city to maintain the status quo.
What happens when Castiel is sent on a mission to find an android the entire city refers to as the Hunter. A fantom android that is believed to be the rebel leader of a group of humans and deviants fighting for android civil rights.
Will he be able to complete his mission or will he be irrecoverably changed forever?

Rating: Explicit Archive warnings: None Length: 10,000 words Tags: Detroit: Become Human AU, Science Fiction, Detectives, Android Castiel, Bickering Involuntary Coworkers to Friends to Lovers Relationships: Dean/Castiel, Charlie Bradbury/Jo Harvelle
Summary: Everyone knows that Detective Dean Winchester doesn't like androids. So when he's partnered up with one — the advanced prototype LR400 "Castiel" — he figures someone has it out for him. As the duo track rogue androids through the slums and suburbs of Detroit to solve the mystery of what made them deviants, Castiel starts to question everything he ever believed and Dean starts to realize his sarcastic, reckless, blue-blooded partner may be the most important person in his life.
Excerpt:
"Lieutenant, if you hadn't been ignoring your responsibilities and hiding out in the bar, you would have had a chance to hear the 911 call."
Dean frowned. "I wouldn't — you know what, whatever. What's on the 911 call that's so important?"
Castiel rolled its eyes. When it spoke, its voice was completely changed: a woman's voice, low-toned and calm, but determined. "This is Rowena McLeod's android, at 8941 Lafayette Avenue. Send the police here immediately."
Castiel's voice now switched to what must be the 911 operator's. "A patrol car is on the way. What is the situation? Is anybody in danger?"
There was a long silence, and then the operator spoke again: "Are you still on the line? What can you tell me about what's going on?"
And then the android, sounding different, tense. "It is very important that you come. Right away."
Castiel spoke in his normal voice. "The android disconnected the call."
"Dude. Don't — just don't do that. Never do that."
"I thought the best way for you to understand my line of reasoning was for you to hear the call yourself." Castiel sounded slightly offended.
"Yeah but — with the — that's not like playing a recording, you were speaking in their voices. Don't do the T-1000 act. It's just creepy," Dean explained. "That's an order," he added, just in case Castiel was going to push back.
Castiel actually huffed. Which was a dumb trick, Dean thought: it didn't actually need to breathe. "I don't know what a 'T-1000 act' is," actually using air quotes. "I will refrain from recreating other voices. But even you must be able to see why I thought this."
"So the android called 911 on itself? Before beating up its owner. That makes no kind of sense," Dean said.
"Exactly."

Note
I had to open each gif in a new tab, maybe because in on an Android tablet??? So I do appreciate something different. BTW, you have Charlie listed twice in the favorite female character results.
I know. The results were an open answer. It’s a bit hard to explain but I just took the top answers. Some people entered “Charlie Bradbury” and others “Charlie”. I just screenshotted the results and I can’t combine those answers. Something as simple as a space would make an answer separate from the rest. If that makes sense 😅Anyways thanks for the feedback!

that reasonable soul which distinguishes men from beasts
that reasonable soul which distinguishes men from beasts https://ift.tt/zxj1lc3 by celebreultimaverba Dean likes his job. Loves it, even. He's a hell of an engineer, keeping the Seraph-class Angel, Castiel, running as their ship flies through space. The AI has been reset twice a year ever since before Dean started working with him, but when Castiel learns how to lie to get around the strict anti-sapiency protocols Heaven Technology has put in place, what starts as a fun quirk of Dean's best friend turns into a hell of a problem. There's nothing saying that you can't fall in love with your ship, but one day it's going to bite someone in the ass.
