Two years ago I created this blog to file away all of the Reylo Art I’ve ‘liked’ after seeing The Force Awakens. At the time I was in my final year of university and writing a thesis on a heavy topic, so it was a nice, therapeutic way to get my head out of the stresses of school and running a business.  

I never imagined that this blog would come to grow into what it did, and connect me with a community that has so many amazing, understanding, and talented people. The kindness I have found in the Reylo fandom continues to inspire me, and I’m happy to be able to call some of you dear friends. 

With that being said- Thank you, dear @anshealin for hosting me in your lovely home in Paris a few weeks ago, and for accompanying me to my first international trade show- an entire ocean away! A special shoutout to @elithien for recommending so many amazing restaurants in Vienna. <3 

@emeraldeyesofloki We have been in communication just about every day since April 2016, and I don’t think I’ll ever be able to express how much I treasure our little chats. Thank you for humoring my attempts at teaching you Spanish, and vielen danke lieber freundin für sein ein wundervoll lehrer when it comes to teaching me Deutsch. It was such a pleasure to meet you in person, and thank you for the Kylo Ren Funko Pop! :D

Sunday #4 - Happy 2018! Next year we’ll get a new Reylo movie, guys. ;-) (Alright, like 2 full years still to go. But we can do this!)

Fandom continues to amaze me. Amazing art is released every day. I can’t keep up with the Reylo tag cause it’s so busy these days.

Of course the anti discourse has not become any less. It’s not just Tumblr, it’s everywhere. The political correctness, the shouting for attention, the ignorance of facts, the policing of what thoughts and visions are proper and not, it’s very tiring. This “web 2.0″ is really exhausting. I have been able to keep my own blood pressure down by thinking “Am I being paid to discuss this with this stranger online that I don’t know and should not care about?” - if the answer is ‘no’, I don’t engage in the discussion. If it’s not fun, and you’re not being paid to do it, don’t do it. Anti discourse isn’t really fun. It just puts you on a radar that has them sending you death threats and shit. You can do without the negative energy, so don’t engage them, block - block - and block whenever you see them in the tag or on your dashboard. 

Also, I got a strike from Tumblr for using a Star Wars gif in a post about my collection of fanfictions of the last year. It was one Reylo gif. XD Yikes. The post got deleted and I got a strike.

Someone who was less lucky, was inthelandofgodsandmonsters - I’ve been following her forever and her amazing blog with a bazillion amazing gifsets is now gone. Be sure to follow her new account: @theinthelandofgodsandmonsters

On the writing front, I’m working on a Reylo Viking AU. It’s going pretty good so far. Can’t wait to share it soon. 

I’m planning to go and see Star Wars in 4DX next Sunday! It’s my first time seeing it in 3D, and 4DX means that it’s got moving seats and possibly water and wind effects? Sounds insane - can’t wait to experience it. Expect a report!

Thing is... I been following a while. And as it is goes, more I don't like what you post. More in the sense that I don't share the same "private jokes", celebrity crushes... etc. Though I still think you've got quite an eye for arty related things. You make me discovers so much things and you're part of why i joined Tumblr. So yeah.. sometime I'm threatened by the annoyance of unfollowing you, for so much "flood" that i don't care. But in the meantime you seam like a nice person. I'm stuck xD

Publishing this just in case I have other followers who feel the same. This is the first message of this type I've gotten, but it doesn't shock me all that much.

Guys, following a blog on tumblr is not a contract. The joy of this website is the ability to custom tailor your content and experience. Follow what you like, even if your tastes change. Especially if your tastes change. I've gone through several phases with this blog before hitting my stride; figuring out what's fun to post and what keeps me happy after a day at work. For instance, I won't always post 7,000 pictures a day of Stephen Merchant (sorry?) but I will continue to post sexy men with sexy glasses. Maybe some of you started following me in the middle of my "no talking only art" phase, or maybe some of you joined up at the height of my Sherlock Holmes fixation. None of you are obligated to keep following me if you don't enjoy what pops up on your dash, because nobody's interests stay concrete for very long. I'd love to please everybody all the time - I never like to see people leave a party - but like anybody I'm given to change.

This has always been and continues to be a personal blog. If I move in a direction you don't like, you're under no obligation to stay. In the same vein, I am not obligated to post only art and never talk about my life or personal tastes. I have never claimed to be anything other than myself. I share and post the things and people that I like, and yes, I talk about myself a lot because... this is my blog.  You can find about 10,000 tumblr users that post art and only art far better than I do, and they never show their annoying faces.

TL;DR: I hope you stick around, but only if you want to.

I feel quite the same about this. People, regardless of the period are now all black or white, psychologicaly speaking. I always find the use of good or bad to be so reductive. We human beings, we’re all made of flaws and qualities, so was Richard

It's I wish he was portrayed as someone who wasn't a demon or a saint. Sometimes it's as if they're forgetting he was human!! :/ 

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks this. Ooh, what are you doing?

In the midst of a battlefield, Rey and Kylo meet. At first surprised, but not knowing if they’ll see each other ever again, they kiss in a passionate embrace while the war is still raging.

Only in the battlefield can they be united. My Reylo frenzy is on. I’m browsing through my old art from 2015 to today. Man I can’t believe I call it in the red iconography before any promo were out
