RBF king whose permanent scowl can be alleviated by glasses for his fucking astigmatism and light-sensitive eyes lmao. Sorry if this is out of line, I'm just really amused by this line of thought.

How long does it take Jon to fully recuperate from his scarebeast transformation?

I can see Jon getting so concerned for Ed’s sleeping schedule he pulls him into bed with him and Ed’s out like a light in seconds

Jonathan has a pretty long recovery ahead of him. His healing is exponential, at least. His health is critical at first, but once he's stable, it's pretty much physical therapy from then on. So in total it's like a few months.

Jo tries his best to take care of Ed despite the state he is in. Being bed-bound won't stop him from caring for his gremlin. Getting him to sleep is definitely an easy one. Ed can't resist knocking out the second his head hits a pillow, especially if he's being cuddled. And Jonathan is much more open to physical affection after being a beast, which helps them both a lot.

my approach to body horror is definitely pretty unique, i think that having something that is contextually so visceral and bodily but spin it as something that people want, seek out and achieve fulfilment from is realllly fun. getting my freaky deaky surgery into a creature for fun and joy

imagine the olive theory but with strawberries instead. Dante enjoys strawberries a lot. Honeypie (probably) enjoys them too, but seeing as how Dante loves them they would just say they dislike strawberries to give them up to Dante so he can enjoy them more.

When Dante finds out (because let’s be honest he would find out due to how observant he is) his heart would fucking melt. Like, they voluntarily gave up some of their strawberries because they knew he liked them and how it would make him happy?!? Theisoshisoshsuiaijshs ⬅️ Dante’s heart.

When a strawberry “magically” appeared after he looked away for a second he insists on sharing his with HP because “seems like they cheaped out on yours honey, cmon take a bite of mine” and he won’t take a no for an answer. They end up splitting and sharing both their sundaes together.

I have recently become SO obsessed with your art its truly stunning!!

If you're still talking requests I'd love to see your interpretation of dwarven women and maybe how their clothes differ from male dwarves! I'd also absolutely adore to see how you do their beards because the way you draw hair is so perfect!!!!!

Thank you so much!! <3 I absolutely agree that the dwarven women deserve proper beards! I thought of making Dís and Thorin, but I didn't have the time to make Thorin as well, perhaps later! But I remade Gimli's design earlier, so that can work as a bit of a comparison.

So here's my new design for Gimli, including a gigolas drawing I made for another request (click to see that properly). He's wearing armor so this doesn't show that well the differences between men's and women's fashions, but I think you'll get a bit of an idea at least.

So, as mentioned before Old Norse is my main inspiration for dwarves, but there's Bronze Age influences as well, Bronze Age Iberian Peninsula for the jewelry and Greece for Gimli's armor, as well as a bit of Eastern European and Jewish influences. I decided that dwarven women would keep their beards and hair relatively short, while the men would keep them long, both would still keep them braided. I made Dís two different jewelry styles. I'm thinking the giant wheels are more of a ceremonial style, while the other style is more casual for a noble woman. Also, I have not drawn it for Gimli, but while women wear a veil, I'd have the men wear a cap.

This AU scenario would be really interesting to write! And of course I'd make it appropriately long for a 1k followers celebration. <3

I think it's actually a really great idea, because in this scenario, Ing would have a somewhat different personality. They wouldn't have been through what the Romans did to them, and their personality would have had a more natural development from their childhood days - meaning they'd be a sweeter, more open and more emotionally available version of the person you will meet in Chapter 2.

Let's make a poll for it to see how many people would like to see this, or if people would rather request something else that would not be an AU/What-if-scenario.
