I have a question for the self ship community, especially for poly self shippers. Here’s what I’m wondering: as a poly self shipper with a lot of f/os, is it necessary for others to support and ship every single one of your self ships? Or is it okay for them to only support and ship you with your main f/os and maybe a few others from your list?

I’m asking because I’m not sure if it’s considered rude to only support some of someone’s self-ships instead of all of them. Does it come across as dismissive, or is it normal for people to focus on the ships they resonate with the most? I’d love to hear your thoughts on this! And because I’m quite curious about this myself- shshshshsh

Do you think Mono would be able to make puns and jokes, as many of the fandom believes? Or do you believe he doesn't make any jokes?

I'd rather believe the second option. As much as we don't know his past, if he was born in that world, he would be surviving for most of his life (although, that makes me wonder about his origins.) Perhaps, he may not even get a joke at all or have a sense of humor, because he was simply deprived of it; as every kid in the Little Nightmares' world seems to be.

Just telling you this random thought I had before going to sleep because, I dunno, it just doesn't stick with me that he would be a punny kid in the context he's in (if it was another world, though, I would believe it.)

I believe Mono would the odd yet slightly talkative kid, while Six would be more playful (it's shown throughout the game that she is more childish in comparison to him -- even her shadow acts playfully!). She may be painfully quiet, though.

Anyways, just want to know your thoughts about: if Mono would have a sense of humor or not. Your thoughts and the way you analyze everything about Little Nightmares is just so good and on-point; the way you describe everything is practically magical, because it is just so good! Anyways, good night, hope you see it (again,) 'cause... of all things that could make me curious about this franchise, that's the thing that decided to make me intrigued.

AHHH THANK YOU SO MUCH! I'm always so happy when people tell me they like my interpretation of LN. It's a game very dear to my heart and I infinitely respect it as a piece of art. As such I want to be able to portray my thoughts on it with the attention and care it deserves; I put lots of effort into my analysis.

So: this verges more towards headcanon territory since they're (mostly) silent characters, but I do agree with you that Mono is definitely more talkative than Six. Hearing his voice lines, I have the impression that he's the kind of kid with a "loud voice" -- someone who might not necessarily be super talkative but has an inflection in their tone that makes their voice sound decisive. He's got conviction in his little voice that makes him sound like he's one of those kids who like to play and run around, whereas Six results more passive even though she's arguably more playful in the actual context of the game.

I think he could be funny, but I also think most of his funny moments come from him being a goofball rather than him actually being witty like I imagine Six to be. I do agree that he definitely comes across as an odd kid, but to me he's that kind of "benevolent" weird kid where people think he's a little strange but assume he means well... in another context, at least. We know the Nowhere doesn't take kindly to him. Six instead is a weird kid, and as such she can manage to live and even thrive as long as she's allowed her own little bubble.

It’s time for the school play and it’s Romeo & Juliet. Mikasa gets the role of Juliet and Eren couldn’t give a fuck about the play until he found out Romeo and Juliet kiss, in front of everybody. And now Eren is obsessively after the role, only he can’t act to save his life

There's this animanga from the late 80s/early 90s that I adore called Ranma 1/2 that has a Romeo and Juliet high school theater production arc and all I can picture is that but with Eremika as Ranma and Akane. I'm going to try to break free from that restraint.

Okay, so first things first, if Mikasa got the role and Eren didn't, that means she auditioned and he probably didn't bother. So he's shit out of luck by the time he finds out the guy cast as Romeo (Jean??? Maybe???) is going to be kissing Mikasa. This means Eren has two options: to make sure the kiss doesn't happen or to steal the role.

So, what does Eren do?

He gets himself appointed to the stage crew, of course, and begins doing everything he can to make Jean's life a living hell.

He's smacking into him with set pieces, sabotaging his props, he is orchestrating wardrobe malfunctions left and right. During rehearsals, every time they get to the kiss he knocks something over and interrupts them. The director is getting fed up but they also can't help but love watching the drama unfold before them, so they let Eren do his thing for the most part and wonder what is going to happen when the boy can't delay the kiss any longer.

Eren's already on top of that. He knows he can't keep dropping set pieces when there's an audience because he doesn't want to ruin the play for Mikasa, but he also would rather die than see her kiss another guy. Therefore, he needs Jean out of the picture. He concluded long ago that if he's going to keep Mikasa's lips for himself he has to give Jean mono. What better way to put him out of commission and prevent the kiss than the kissing disease itself? Eren loves the irony. Or, he would if he paid attention in English class long enough to know what irony is.

And so, Eren's quest to give Jean mono is already well under way by the time he enters the scene as a member of the stage crew.

But wait, you may say. How is Eren going to infect another kid with mono if he doesn't have it? You forget that Eren's father is a doctor. Eren knows from dinner time conversation that there's been an outbreak of it at a nearby high school and tons of those kids have it. All Eren has to do is get in touch with one of them and obtain their spit. He is not bound by the strictures of common decency or shame, so he starts hitting kids at the other school up, trying to find one who is just as depraved as he is who is willing to sell him their diseased saliva. And you know he manages to find one.

He cuts school takes the bus to the next town over , exchanging fifty dollars for a baby food jar full of saliva from a fellow unhinged teenage, then hurrying back to campus before the virus loses potency.

He arrives just in time for lunch and immediately gets busy contaminating poor Jean's food when he isn't looking.

Then he sits back and crosses his fingers that Jean's symptoms will hit before opening night (it takes 4 - 6 weeks for the infection to brew). He also makes sure to keep Jean's putrid lips off Mikasa. His on-stage kerfuffles have been protecting more than just his own tender heart. He's got to keep Jean from infecting Mikasa, lest Eren find himself onstage as Romeo without his Juliet.

Jean is looking concerningly healthy as opening night approaches, though, and Eren is beginning to think he's going to have to go back to the other kid's house and demand a refund when, with only two days to spare, Jean succumbs to Eren's machinations and falls ill with mononucleosis.

The director is freaking out. Jean can't be in the play if he has mono but who is going to fill in for him?

Eren to the rescue. Surprise, surprise. He has the part memorized.

The director has no choice. The show must go on even if it means Romeo recites all his lines like a robot and everyone in the audience can tell he's slipping Juliet some tongue when he kisses her. At least, the audience all tentatively agree as they try to find a bright spot in the mess of a play they just witnessed, the two leads have tons of chemisty.

Here's how to watch season 2 of Tsukutabe with jp subs LEGALLY!

You're gonna have to get 2 things - a VPN with a japanese location, and a temporary NHK+ account, which only requires you to put in a valid email address.

The broadcasting channel NHK which airs & produces Tsukutabe puts up all episodes immediately after the TV broadcast on their on demand streaming service, NHK+, which only works if you're either in Japan or have a jp VPN address. For VPN personally I use windscribe for now, their lowest plan is 4$ a month for any 3 countries you want. So that's what I got. It has decent speed. You can also use a totally free VPN like Proton, and I tried that too but it was so slow that it annoyed me (lmao). But it does indeed work and if you wanna watch it that way try it out!

For NHK+, you're gonna wanna keep google translate or deepl close by to navigate their website but it's not hard either. Go and make an account but make sure to only make it a temporary one, since a full account requires you to put in your address etc. This whole process is free and you only need to register with an email address that you then need to verify. And it's done! Pull up Tsukutabe in their search or click any of the links on the NHK drama twt (they very nicely post a link & short clip after each episode has aired). I think all episodes are available on demand for a week, so for ep11 you've got the whole weekend to watch. Again, these are not subbed in english, you're gonna have to wait for a fansubber to get to that since it hasn't been picked up internationally yet. I know furritsubs has announced upcoming subs over the weekend.

You've mentioned using fountain pens in passing before. Do you have any pens, ink, and paper you prefer? Tried and true supplies? Others saved for special times?

Paper: AFFORDABLE! I would say that answer is in jest, but my budget is giving me side eye. While I do have special paper for special things that may or may not intersect with the use of fountain pens, it is for a greatly limited reason. Most of the time, I'm writing on whatever paper/notepad is in reach and it is for this reason that most of my nibs are F or EF to limit feathering. Because cheap paper will suck ink out of a pen faster than you can refill it if you use a M nib or larger.

Pens: Pilot Kakuno, my beloved. I have found them to be accessible to my budget and accessible to my needs. I have a few set aside (with corresponding ink) for use in magical endeavors. If they get lost or I drop it nib down, it's not a reduction in my net worth.

Ink: Diamine, my beloved. J Herbin, my lover. For black, there's nothing like J Herbin Onyx for me.

If I could only have one: Pilot Kakuno EF + J Herbin Onyx, please and thank you.

Right now my fountain pens and inks have been put in storage because I just don't have the room to go all in with them again. Once I finish rearranging some stuff and clearing out some debris from my life (emotional and physical), I'll be able to sit down with my pens again and stain my fingers unique combinations of colors.

I have a few Edison pens, and some Stipulos, but the day I dropped a LE Stipulo one foot onto a tile floor and shattered the end knob off of it was the day that I realized I'm not paid enough to have a "true" fountain pen habit. Give me the Kakunos and Metropolitans, and I'll be okay.

Been meaning to draw my Asari oc, Aera, from my ME fanfic 'The Shepard's Dog'. Kaidan meets him on his journey to take back Shepard's body and they wind up getting along like a house on fire.

Aera uses he/him pronouns and while he's not much of a fighter he's a hell of a hacker. Real 'guy in the chair' type, lol.
