Rereading the whole Nevermoor series in preparation for Silverborn coming out and I have to ask… did we ever find out whether it was Ezra Squall or Jupiter who put in the other two bids for Morrigan? One was from a made-up ladies’ college and the other was from a made-up military school, and it was all very elaborate, so it stinks of Jupiter, but then he, rather than Ezra, just fully puts his real name on a bid. so like. what was the game plan here??

Chiara's casual wear and outerwear from her character sheet

Both outfits got tweaked to match her vibe. Casual fit needed some non-blue added in there to balance it out, and the gold buckles had to go! The outerwear was already a great fit for her. The Grey Warden colour scheme suits her and by taking her out of Crow colours at all times she starts feeling more like a person, less like an extension of a faction. It's fun to compare the final to the in game designs, as not that much has changed, but it overall feels better for the character.

Ok I think this is the last post of this kind, I've now gone through everything from the sheet. I like chatting about art processes and thoughts behind art (when a thought occurs!), it's been fun! ✌️

Usopp is the most respectful men in the crew!

We can see this by how the ladies are comfortable around him, specifically Nami. Its cannon that Nami is one of the most beautiful women in the world and we see how men treat her over this. In a way I always see her guarded against men (or calculating how to take advantage over this fact). But with usopp she feels okay starting skinship or getting in situations that may be uncomfortable with others. And he always react with respect, never treating her different. During thriller bark she evens trust him to watch the bath. In a way, it's also different than the lack of interest we get from Zoro and Luffy.

And it may be fanservice but I don't feel nami is comfortable with the others to this point

Also, he was hiding in Robins clothes and instead of this becoming some sexy gag, it's just a hilarious scene

His relationship with Robin is also super wholesome. You can see they are both comfortable with each other.

Not forgetting he respect his adversary no matter the gender

We also have the whole Kaya and Usop relationship. While this one is read more as romantic, we always see usopp being really respectful in the way he talks about Kaya and his actions towards her. And honestly, his actions in every way always seem respectful

• A lot of Radical Face because he's a staple in their playlists and whenever I hear his songs, I think of them.

• Iscariot is there twice but different covers, that's because I think they both give off a different impact depending on the time frame it occurs in. I like to think that Walk the Moon's version occurs right after Asriel's refusal to kill and the consequences that occur while The Vassar Devil's cover happens during the Asriel fight in True Pacifist.

• Some songs may have romantic subtext but you can just interpret it as platonic. I personally don't care because when a song reminds me of them, it's them. The important part is that the love is there and it cannot be denied.

nobody understands how much i love yubashiri, not even me sometimes. it's my favorite sword in all of one piece, and it's never talked about

i know that moment in loguetown was focused on kitetsu because it was an important moment for zoro and really showed how much he believes in fate and luck, but that scene reminds me that yubashiri has so much weight to it, i think.

yubashiri was a family heirloom, and when zoro leaves the shop, tashigi asks the shopkeeper why he gave away such an important treasure, and he says "what's wrong with a man entrusting another man with his dreams?"

whether zoro knows it or not, yubashiri holds a promise and a dream similar to wado, but not as heavy or personal. we don't know what the shopkeepers dream was, but he knew he wouldn't be able to reach it and instead gave it to zoro in the form of yubashiri.

i know this isn't that important in the long run, and we don't really know anything about the shopkeeper, but zoro has this theme with promises and carrying the weight of others dreams with him. he strives to be the best and will do anything to reach the top, but he'll also do the same for people he loves and respects.

even if he doesn't know or care what yubashiri means to the shopkeeper, yubashiris history seems to fit well with zoro, and i think that's what's important. it continues this theme of dreams and promises and trust, things that are vital for zoros character. they compliment each other

and then it died in two seconds because of some random guy that we've never heard of and we'll never see again 😭😭😭

i'm really happy zoro laid it to rest in thriller bark, but the way yubashiri died made it feel unimportant and tossed aside and i'm really upset about it

Sooooo hey there everyone!!! I know that it has been, once again, literal months since I last posted. That is because of two reasons:

1. Once again, I failed to break the "doesn't draw for months after Xmas for absolutely no reason" curse that has plagued me for years now, and

2. Last year I played BG3 for the first time and became so obsessed with it that I did nothing but play it for months instead of doing any drawing 💀

So. yeah. That's why I havent posted since uuuhhh like last September rip 😬. A lot of things have changed for me since then! I've started experimenting with digital art (so be prepared to see some of that on here), I've officially started to transition, I've played a lotta new games/watched a lot of new stuff, so I'll be doing art for a whole new bunch of fandoms, I've made a lot of new friends IRL, and, most importantly, I GOT ACCEPTED INTO UNIVERSITY!!!!!! Got put in my first choice course, and I've been there for literally only a week now and I'm already loving it. Another reason I didn't post much last year was because I spent most of my spare time working on getting into uni, especially the last few months of the year. Anyways, that's a bit of an explanation as to why I've been gone so long (but you guys are used to this by now, haha 😅).

Thanks to everyone who's still here and to everyone who's recently followed, love you all ❤️. I'll start posting my art here again, starting immediately, so I hope you all enjoy!!!!
