Im back with answers and more random thoughts, first I'll answer the questions you had from the last ask. Questions will be in blue and answers will be in white/black (depending on your settings)

it's mostly the last reason, it simply doesn't effect them and they don't care all that much unless it effects them in some sort of way. Some do have the other reasons, but it's mostly the last

It would most likely not be all that safe, with heavy risks of malpractice or outright lying about what they end up doing. I do think it would be safer to go to a Doc who us less well known or has less to gain from lying to them. I actually hadn't thought of that other idea, but now that you mention it I can totally see it happening. I think it would most likely only happen to hyper specific cast mechs, something that is harder to get by normal means.

It really depends, it's possible to maintain a mechs status after empurata but it's very hard. If they are well known enough and their appearance is not as important to that they should be OK. (Kind of like how celebrities who do bad things can still remain in good standing)

Yes, if their personality seems to fit and that they hadn't had their personality or anything changed. There is one AU I've seen where they had starscream under go empurata, and he would definitely be the type to show it off as a statement.

Most definitely. I think any mech that gets a replacement connected to their systems or processor they tend to get phantom pains, in the case of Shockwave I think he would just permanently offline the segment of his processor related to the parts of the body he had gotten removed. Along with that I believe Shockwave could manually switch the commands used for his dominate hand to his only remaining hand. It's risky and not anything that a normal mech would consider but Shockwave isn't really a normal mech...

now I have another idea, it's related to the cycle of life for sparks and Somethings related to that.

So, new sparks are more connected to the planet and they lose connection as they grow up. They learn to walk, talk, transform, and the basic things required to live from that early connection, and they can learn and give things they learn to the planet (I think more specifically the well of the all sparks) in their early years. There is exceptions, in partial outliers. They maintain a connection and that is where they get their powers from, most don't know that but its the way they get their powers.

In addition to your thoughts of the possibility that mechs could maintain their status as empuratees, do you think they might even gain some followers FROM their empurata? Comparison between celebrities is interesting but makes a lot of sense, despite supporting or doing bad things - you can still keep power through any means necessary.

Your comment about “specific class” mechs intrigues me. Is this for mechs with a specific function or hard to come by software? Do you think there’s be essentially a body/hardware trade (like how Lockdown from Animated collects parts and mods from his bounties) in that you could trade some important part of your body or maybe even your function to regain your life? (Maybe similar to Nautica in IDW trying to sell her emotions in exchange for Skids)

This is the part I’m really excited in because I always love seeing how people write Transformers being created: their connection to the planet reminds me a lot of things like going immersant from IDW2 where bots who feel accomplished in life give their body and mind back to Cybertron. Interesting how they gather data, knowledge, and power from the planet. Do you think if a bot were to be born nearer to like the helex they’d develop differently or have different knowledge than someone from protohex? what about Cybertron’s moons? Do certain areas of Cybertron have a higher yield for outlier sparks?

goddd the way that gangle is in the 4th episode of the digital circus is so well written as a manic episode- more below cut and this is NAWTTT going in the tag. spoilers obviously

okay i just passed the part where jax said she’s better when she’s sad and that hits so hard as someone who’s been told the EXACT same thing during a manic episode- and also the part where ragatha calls her annoying with that mask. helloooo been told that too.

like obviously the mask is supposed to be a manic episode metaphor okay ? okay <3

as someone who does work in fast food and have worked through episodes, the whole thing just hits so close to home.. trying to do her best despite not being entirely there mentally… girl me too… not to mention her coworkers not enjoying her presence while they’re all working together (bar a few people. much like me) (but i think that’s just me thinking that a lot of them hate me for no reason. anyways. still relatable)

she seems very out of place and awkward when she’s not giving direction or doing something herself, almost as if she doesn’t know how to act, or if the way she is acting is so foreign to her she doesn’t know when/how to quit

and the way she turns on a dime is just sooo realistic.. little comments changing her entire demeanour, the dropping of the mask as soon as she’s out of sight of others to regulate, only switching between the high and the low with no in between- i honestly wish there was a little bit of interaction with the customers while she’s in that state but as a “been there done that” guy i could only imagine (though the coworker interactions were quite enough). it’s all so REAL to me. like holy shit that’s me. side note- the thing about her having to give up her art dreams for not being realistic enough OHHHH my GODDD oh my god. artist turned fast food worker i’m sick. that’s me.

i think the part at the end where she hucks her mask into the sky and dances around (and eventually getting hit by a vehicle) can also be a way of showing how an episode cooldown happens, at least for me. personally, i start to feel more normal, regulated, how i perceive myself to actually be once an episode is over (either manic or depressive) before getting slammed with the opposite of whatever i just came down from

so the time before her getting whacked by a truck is the cooldown, and then the whacking is the depressive episode starting (which can be seen in the aftermath of the adventure when she’s sitting away from the others before zooble comes and gets her). honestly it’s one of the first times i’ve been entirely seen by a character in a show for this aspect of myself

i think another thing of note that is very relatable is the fact that she only ever has her tragedy mask always on her- i personally go through way more depressive episodes than manic ones- it’s a lot easier to stay in a depressive state for longer periods of time. idk little thing i noticed

uhhh well first of all I think childe x zhongli is like the most pathetic and boring "default" pairing this fandom came up with. they have 0 chemistry and I just hate everything about it. as much as I headcanon both as queers... together romantically it feels like 2 straight men put together by ya*i fans............ also before i blacklisted to ship and voluntarily looked through the ship tag... every post felt like a hard ooc. i could not understand what childe or zhongli are supposed to be as individuals, what they have in common, what kind of dynamic they have. deadass most crack ships with 0 interactions have more flavor than this tragedy

eng VAs are great people and appreciate their work but whoever decides the voices ain't doing it right. every male character sounds like a middle-aged white man.. and most of the youngest characters sound like very obvious adults trying to pretend to be babies. all of it irks me so bad god.. and there are so many characters that lose their little spark in eng........ all of the playable adult male characters are shitty people in one way or another. none of them are good. they have reasons and different perspectives, yes, but they suck. every single one of them. stop ignoring it or trying to say only some are evil. none of them are inherently terrible.. but they're not these precious and righteous individuals. they're men.................... that says a lot, actually. :\

ALSO stop demonizing venti .. and now baal, while praising zhongli- he's an old loser stop lying to yourself. i hate when people present him as the only good archon, the voice of reason who is just so cool and collected but also ahh so cutely silly about mora !!!............. bitch the story quest of liyue is just one zhongli-is-a-fucking-moron campaign idk did yall skip it or something............ and even then it's ok to like him, he does have his logic/reasons/beliefs that justify his actions... he is not a good guy or archon tho.

Dean was sitting in the middle of the screen, he waved and said: “Hi Hunters, welcome back. Today is a bit of a different video. I mentioned this in my recent Q&A video and you all seemed to love the idea, so here is some stuff about my husband I’ve had to cut out of previous videos. This is either from the videos we did together or from videos before the reveal when I said too much. Anyway, that is enough babbling from me, I hope you all enjoy it!”

The intro rolled, it was a drawn impala that came down the road, it stopped in the middle of the screen and the drawn Dean gave a wink to the viewers, then he sped off again and the smoke was bridge back to the video.

The first clip was from the reveal video, Castiel was looking into the little screen on the side of the camera as he mussed with his hair and huffed. He turned to Dean and asked: “Do I look okay? I want to make a good first impression.”

Out of frame you could hear Dean, who said: “You look absolutely stunning, huggy-bear.”

Then he leaned in and gave him a quick peck on the lips.

The next clip was out a video about something stupid Dean had done in college. He was in the middle of a sentence when he was interrupted by a knock. He looked to the side and called out: “Yeah, come in.”

“You’ve been recording for two hours, so I brought you a donut and some coffee.” Cas said as he got into frame to hand over the snacks.

Deans face lit up and he made grabby hands to the goodies. It made Cas laugh as he gave him the donut and coffee. Dean immediately took a sip right in the middle of Cas warning him for the heat. He spat out the sip when he inevitably burned the roof of his mouth.

Cas laughed a bit at him and Dean looked up with a pout and said: “It’s kind of your fault, so you need to kiss it better.”

“Oh, is it now?” Cas replied with a raised brow, but he was already leaning in.

After that it cut to them sitting opposite to each other while Cas was concentrating on Deans eye make up. Dean softly said: “Cas?”

“Yes, Dean.” Cas replied absentmindedly not breaking his focus.

“You’re really cute when you’re concentrated.” Dean said, smiling as Cas spluttered and stopped what he was doing to hide his face in Deans chest.

Dean hugged him and kissed the top of his head, before releasing him to get back to what he was doing.

It cut to an older Q&A, where it was Sam and Dean driving in the Impala. Sam read from his phone: “I want to know something about your mysterious boyfriend, at least give us an eye color please.” he looked up, “A lot of people liked this one, seems like they’re really curious about him.”

Dean laughed: “Yeah, they always are.” he looked to where the camera was for a second, before turning his attention back to the road as he answered, “His eyes are this amazing sort of blue, you know. They’re piercing when he looks at you and it’s almost like they draw you in, fixating and you have to look. He’s really good at staring, so you’ll just get sucked into these beautiful pools of blue so bright they could rival the sky on a sunny summers day, but they’re also icy and cool if you manage to piss him off. In short they’re stunning and amazing.”

Next to him Sam rolled his eyes and commented: “That’s enough poetry about his eyes for today.”

Dean far off dreamy look disappeared of his face and was replaced by something sheepish as he said: “That was a bit much, maybe. Although it is all 100% true. I’ll probably cut this part.”

“That’s fair.” Sam replied, then he smirked and ribbed: “You really are whipped for him, dude.”

Dean blushed heavily and he said: “Shut up, like you’re any better about Jess, bitch.”

Sam pouted and shot back: “Whatever, jerk.”

Then it went to the next clip, which came out of the Q&A video. Dean was about to read something of his screen when Cas stopped him. Dean gave him a questioning look, but Cas just fixed his hair and murmured: “You ran your hand through it again.”

Dean nodded in understanding and smiled softly, before clearing his throat and pulling his attention back to the question.

The clip after that was out a solo video of Dean, he did his intro: “Hi Hunters, welcome back. Today-”

He cut himself off and turned back to the surface next to him where he sometimes put stuff he needed to show for a video. The space was now occupied by a photo frame. He picked it up and smiled down at the photo.

“Sorry, cut this out. I got this picture from the living room, so I can look at it. Cas will be back tomorrow from that school trip.” he explained, looking down once more.

After that it cut to a bit from the husband tag, it was the discussion which had gotten cut out. To refresh memories he had left in the first bit as well. It began with Cas whining: “How many times do I have to tell you that I am not a strange being.”

“When you can prove you’re not.” Deans shot back instantly.

Cas threw his hands up and said: “How can I prove I’m not immortal, without dying.”

Dean took a deep breath and said: “You could try and teleport or fly, if you are an angel you should be able to fly.”

“I am not an angel, Dean. I have told you this many times before.” Cas said.

Dean smiled and replied: “With a beautiful face like that you could’ve fooled me, darling.”

Cas blushed, but recovered quick enough, by saying: “Flirting won’t work as a distraction technique to avoid that you do not have any arguments.”

“I have arguments.” Dean exclaimed.

Cas gave him a look and Dean went on: “Like, History, you know too much about, like you were there when it happened.”

“I studied History, Dean.” Cas sighed as he pinched the bridge of his nose.

Dean squinted at him with suspicion and said: “I’m not convinced, babe.”

“Sure,” Castiel rolled his eyes, deciding it wasn’t worth it right now, “Shouldn’t we get back to the video now?”

Blinking confused Dean looked back to the camera with surprise, before smoothing over his features and getting back to the list of questions.

The next clip was from another story time video. It wasn’t long.

“So then me and Cas ran back like Hell, with this mad store owner on our asses.” Dean said, with a sparkle in his eyes, then he frowned and told the camera: “I said Cas again, didn’t I? Stupid, sorry, I meant Rick, my roommate. Let’s do that again.”

You could hear him pout: “Cas is much more fun.”

It cut to a clip from the husband tag, they were still prepping. Dean was fiddling with the camera and the focused wobbled a bit, but you could clearly see Cas sitting next to him. Once everything was clear, you could also see the love stricken look on his face.

Dean turned around and smiled as he asked: “What’s that face about?”

“Nothing, I just love you that’s all.” Cas shrugged.

The smile on Deans lips broadened as he replied: “Love you too, Cas.”, then he nodded to the camera and asked: “Are you ready?”

“Probably not, so let do it.” Cas answered.

The last clip was from when Dean had attempted to teach Charlie how to bake a pie to impress the ladies, which had been an experience to say the least. Nothing much was happening at the moment, they were just kneading the dough and at this point they had already captured some funny shots of that, so they weren’t really focused too much on the video itself.

In the distance you could hear a door open and close. Then a heavy thud followed by a long groan. Dean and Charlie shared a look, before Dean called out: “You okay over there?”

Cas’s voice flowed down the hall: “Yeah, just work.”

“What happened?” Dean yelled back, there was some shuffling after that and it was to be assumed that Cas had appeared in the doorway, which was just out of frame. When he saw the set up he quickly said: “Oh, you’re filming, I can come back later. Wouldn’t want to disturb.”

Dean looked at the camera and immediately said: “No, we have the stuff we need for now, we have time. Really. Come in. It’s your own damned house. I’ll cut it out, promise.”

“Don’t worry, just vent.” Charlie said from beside him.

Cas stepped into frame and gave her a short hug as he greeted her, before turning to Dean and nearly collapsing against him. Dean couldn’t really hug him, since his hands were dirty, but it seemed effective none the less.

Dean asked: “Wanna tell me what happened?”

“I had forgotten I put the deadline for three classes on the same day.” Castiel said, his voice muffled slightly, “Which means I have to grade 90 fucking papers all at least 3 pages long and I hate everything right now.”

Smiling softly Dean said: “That sounds like it sucks, angel.”

Cas looked up and complained: “It is.”

Charlie tried to comfort him: “Well at least we have comfort pie in a few hours.”

“Thank you, Charlie.” Cas said, then he sighed, “I think, I’m going to try and get started on the papers, good luck with your pies.”

“Same.” Charlie replied.

“Yeah, good luck.” Dean said, then he slapped Cas’s ass when he walked off.

Cas squeaked and frowned at the flour now staining his jean, leaving an obvious hand print. He quickly threw a bit of flour in Deans hair and dipped his hand in the flour making a hand print on Deans shoulder, before hurrying out of the kitchen.

A lot of fans remembered that, there had bee loads of theories that Charlie and Dean were secretly together with the jump cut and the sudden appearance of the hand print as proof.

Then it went to the end card. It was the same Dean from the beginning of the video and he said: “That was a lot of fun to put together, honestly. I hope you all liked it, if you did hit the like button and subscribe and hit that bell. Bye Hunters, see you on the road!”

Then the video ended.

He had walked Amy back to her booth that night, thanking her for her service on his arm, and claiming that he’d come back if he ever needed anything else. She’d offered for him to come by any time to say hello and thanked him for the dinner, but with his personality she quite frankly doubted she’d ever see him again. She’d turned to walk into her booth, and by the time she’d looked over her shoulder to see which direction he’d already disappeared without a sound. She wondered how he did it.

Anyways, she was feeling quite refreshed this morning. Smiling at every potential customer that passed, fixing minor defects on ProjScreens for free, finally talking to someone outside of work had done a world of good for her. Amy could tell it had cleansed her mind and relaxed her a bit, and she felt a bit more like she had when Tails had co-owned the booth with her. She didn’t know how long this feeling of security and peacefulness would last, but she intended to take advantage of it for as long as she could. So, she put up her ‘be back soon’ sign and stepped out of her booth to go and visit Whisper.

The rusty bell jingled as she pushed open the creaking wood door, Whisper’s weapon shop bustled quietly with activity. A few children stood staring at an impressive sword like weapon in a glass case, and a few seemingly more serious buyers turned a base model of a blaster over in their hands.

“Amy! Come on behind the counter.” Whisper’s damaged voice reached Amy’s perked ears as the mechanic turned to look at the weapon maker and quickly headed to get behind the counter.

“Hey Whisper, sorry I couldn’t do this last night.” She apologized as she walked around the counter to stand in front of the wolf mobian.

“It’s quite fine, I understand being exhausted. I caught a glimpse of the piece you were putting back on, it looked very different from anything I’ve ever seen before.”

“It was pretty strange, but enough about my work, what have you got for me?” Amy redirected the conversation as it twisted to be on ‘Myst’s strange cyborg arms. She was sure he wouldn’t want them to be a topic of conversation, even if she didn’t know him that well, she could tell that much.

Whisper merely nodded in response before reaching under the counter and pulling out the model. As it was, it looked a lot like the metal ‘bag’ structure she’d been picturing.

“It’s made out of aluminum, so when you finish it I’m assuming you’ll make it with perhaps cobalt or some other lightweight strong metal, but this is the base form.” She explained. “The strap is here-“ Whisper popped open a compartment and the strap fell out. She continued to speak as she hooked it on to a loop on either end. “-it has magnetic fibers in it, so when you want to be able to go from using it as a weapon to using it as a bag quickly, it can just attach itself to the outside, as long as your metal is magnetic.” Whisper hung the bag over her shoulder to demonstrate how it looked. When she dropped the bag from her shoulder, she pressed a button on the top and the handle of the hammer shot out the other side. Whisper grasped it by the handle and twirled it a few times before stopping to grip it with both hands in a strong stance. “And here’s the finished product.”

“Wow...” Amy breathed out in awe as Whisper lowered it and handed it to her. “I can’t wait to work on it!” She smiled. “Beautiful work, Whisper, really.”

“I’m glad you think so.” She smiled back. “I can’t do lunch today, unfortunately, but something tells me you want to get to work right away.”

“Right- I’ll see you later, Whisper.” She smiled as Whisper waved a quiet good bye.

Amy weaved through the stands displaying weapons and out onto the busy, outer ring streets, where she dodged mobians walking quickly past her to get back into her booth and put away her ‘be back soon’ sign. She set the model down on her desk and quickly got to work on it, now eagerly hoping that no one would bother her for the rest of the day so she could get it done as soon as possible.

After a few hours of replicating pieces of the aluminum model with cobalt she had almost finished forming the head of the hammer, but it was then that she realized there was an odd silence coming from outside the booth, accompanied from a familiar hum she didn’t quite like to hear. She turned to see the mobians in the street parting the way, parents tucking their kids away, others ducking into alleys to be out of the line of fire of the devilish thing- a Robotnik Robot, easily most common to the outer ring, where people were less likely to be able to defend themselves against the flying robots, and where the government didn’t care to check up on often. The white and black robot hovered off the ground, it’s one beady red ‘eye’ shooting off a beam that it used to scan the crowd. This was normal- it was looking for someone, maybe a citizen had gotten ballsy and kicked one and the Doctor wanted his revenge. It wasn’t as much of revenge as it was an excuse to spill some blood though, she supposed. What she didn’t find normal was when it stopped on her. She hissed in pain and shielded her eyes at the sudden bright light of the robot scanning her.

Subject: Amy Rose

It spoke emotionlessly and Amy froze- what did that mean? Usually it just scanned subjects and moved on- why had it said her name?

Amy Rose, you are the last Mobian in contact with Project Shadow, reveal his whereabouts immediately.

What? Amy shrunk back a bit and found herself grabbing the aluminum hammer, it might fall apart if she used it, but she would still have all the pieces at least.

“I don’t know what you’re talking about!” Amy shouted.

Amy Rose, reveal the whereabouts of Project Shadow.

It repeated with no care for her testimony.

“I don’t know about any ‘Project Shadow’!” Amy shouted again, angrier this time, desperate for the robot to hear her and give up.

Amy Rose will be: Terminated.

She gasped as the robot came shooting towards her, eye beginning to shine as if it were ready to hit her with a terrible blast. In a moment of adrenaline, she spun on her toes and lifted the hammer with both hands. By the time she’d made it all the way back around again, she swung as hard as she could, and BANG- home run.

The Robotnik Robot went flying back out into the street as she followed through and the hammer poised back up behind her head again. It’s white body clanked to the ground and skidded, creating a horrible screeching noise before thunking against the wall of the building opposite of her and powering down. Amy breathed heavily in fear as she lowered the hammer and dropped it to the ground, the reality of the situation coming back to her senses as the mobians in the street slowly stopped staring at her and began carrying on with their day. A couple kids scrambled to tear the broken robot apart for parts, and she clutched a hand over her chest.

What. Was. That.

She had never, never in a million years, ever been targeted by Robotnik robot. At first she thought it might’ve been because he had found out Tails had used to work here- but Tails was no ‘Project Shadow’ unless he had suddenly changed drastically in the last twenty four hours. It seemed that ‘Myst’ was her only viable culprit for the ‘Project Shadow’. Amy picked up the aluminum hammer off the floor and placed it back on her work desk, amazed it hadn’t fallen to pieces like she’d thought it would. She sat back down on her stool and pulled out her ProjScreen.

Her first search was ‘Project Shadow’

The web showed it as nothing more than some Projection vlog channel of a kid who had no more than ten subscribers.

She looked up ‘Robotnik Project Shadow’

Same kid as before, except it seemed he had made a video ranting about the Doctor, seemed like it might be amusing, just not right now.

She tried ‘White Cyborg Arms’

Most of what came up we’re just arms taken from androids modeled after white colored mobians- cats seemed to be the most common, though she also saw what appeared to be a bird- and a few were actually pictures of Mobians with white cyborg arms, but none of them were what she had looked at only a few days ago.

Then ‘Cloaked Cyborg’

And now she was getting somewhere. The first article that came up was from about two months ago, and the headline read ‘Blue Blur goes head to head once more with the Cloaked Cyborg’ she clicked on it and was met with a gut wrenching picture.

It was the Blue Blur, just as handsome as everyone claimed, right in the middle of kicking her familiar mysterious customer in the cyborg arms with his cyborg legs, through the shadow of the hood he wore she saw the gleam of clenched teeth, it seemed that his shoes were skidding on the ground as well. Something told her he would have flown into a wall right after this picture. Her stomach churned- the man she had met did not seem deserving of this treatment, but then again, she hardly knew him. What had he done to get to that? She read the article quickly, the most she got out of it was that the people were lucky to have the Blue Blur to save them from wrong doers like the Cloaked Cyborg- but it still didn’t tell her what he had done. Clearly he had some sort of connection with Robotnik, she was almost one hundred percent sure that it was the doctor himself who had made ‘Myst’ those arms now. He had also apparently done something to get on the Blur’s bad side, and by extension Tails, which meant that it was good she never showed Tails the arm, but bad that she’d let a fair amount about Tails slip to ‘Myst’. Amy groaned and powered down the ProjScreen. She wasn’t quite sure what to make of all this. She didn’t like that she couldn’t find what ‘Myst’ had done anywhere on the web, but a part of her felt like she was betraying Tails by not immediately contacting him to tell him what had happened. Her unease swirled in her mind as she clenched her hands into fists in her lap. For now, it seemed that it might be best to just not say anything at all. She didn’t have to lie to Tails if she just didn’t talk to him, and with any luck, ‘Myst’ would not reappear at her booth anytime soon. She felt like she was trapped in a web, but all she could do was toss the ProjScreen to the top of her table and start working on the hammer once more.

With the Creature Collection for Scarred Lands 5e Kickstarter funded and scuttling along, and the Deviant: The Renegades Kickstarter starting this Thursday, we will actually have two KSs running at once for most of their duration.

To be fair, the Creature Collection KS is being run by our friends at Handiworks Games (who also created this gorgeous book of monsters), but it is on our new KS site. Deviant will be run on our long-time KS site with my name on it, and ably run by our own Kickstarter Concierge, James Bell.

As to the whys and wherefores, well, for a while we’ve struggled with a limitation that we can’t run more than one campaign at a time on a single KS site. There’ve been times that we had two very different sorts of projects that we didn’t think would overlap much audience-wise, but one had to wait for the other. So I started looking for options.

One direction – that we’re still looking at – is to go with a different crowd-funding site. The biggest drawback? They aren’t Kickstarter, so our established audience would need to jump to the new platform. Additionally, we too would have to adapt and adopt a new platform’s processes and quirks.

So we keep looking.

(Another option is to move to pre-orders, which we as a company have not dabbled in, but which I am all too aware of since the many years of White Wolf pre-orders and other traditional sales methods. They work, but I sure feel like we’d be losing a lot of the fun that a KS brings to our interactions with our community. Might give one a try, though).

Meanwhile, I set up a new KS account specifically designed as Onyx Path‘s account, not mine. I gotta tell you, with all the internet harassment out there, I’ve gotten a fair bit just by having my name and picture and bio on that site. Plus, with our delightful KS Concierge James Bell running them now, it can get a tad confusing as to who folks are talking to.

We’re still expecting that it’ll be a longer road to get folks used to the Rich Thomas KS account over to the Onyx Path one – but I think it’s a shorter road than trying to get folks to jump to another whole platform. Plus, the original Scarred Lands Players Guides KS wasn’t run by us anyway, it was run by the late Stewart Wieck as his company and Onyx Path co-owned Scarred Lands at that time.

My thinking was that we were going to have to ask that earlier group of backers to find a new site anyway, why not have them go to our new one and give it a try?

Like I mentioned above, we’re also looking at two very different projects. Creature Collection is a great monster book overall, but very much geared to the fantasy genre, Scarred Lands, and 5e with all the twenty-sided rolls to hit and all.

Deviant: The Renegades is the very latest Chronicles of Darkness game line, a gritty world where you seek revenge on those who made you into something… else. It uses the 10-sided dice pool system all of the Chronicles of Darkness lines do, and is a complete game unto itself.

Of course, we’d love it if our audience would completely overlap both these and pledge for them both – that’d be great! But our expectation is that there won’t be much of a mix and one part of our Many Worlds, One Path community will back one KS, and another will back the other.

Creature Collection is also set up to have a different KS experience, with the biggest chunk of the book already finished – I mean laid out and everything – but one of the fun parts of the KS is to have backers pledge for rewards that allow them to add monsters, and for monsters to be added after Stretch Goals are achieved. So more pledges, bigger book!

Deviant is set up as most of our recent KSs have been, and backers can expect to have the full text released to them as the weeks go by. Art and layout are still mostly in the future, but everyone can see exactly what this new game is all about by the end of the KS. Stretch Goals will be mostly for new projects to add to the fun of playing Deviant!

So c’mon and check them out – in their own ways, each is a really excellent book, with a fun KS to get it started!

In the Monday Meeting today, we also talked about a new project that is being offered for free on DTRPG. No, it’s not one of ours, it’s Consent in Gaming from Monte Cook Games, written by Shanna Germain and Sean K. That’s it.

Part of the advice is a handy worksheet that has lists of possible things that might cause issues with the players that each player can go through and check off, with blank spaces to fill in things that you might have a hard time dealing with personally that aren’t on the pre-printed lists. The sheets are tools to be used, like several others like the X-Card that are now available for groups to use for their sessions if they choose to use them.

Judging by the commentary where this product is being discussed, Monte Cook is going to personally come to your group’s gaming session and put a gun the the heads of your gaming friends, and force everyone to fill out these forms. Nope. That’s obviously not going to happen, nor is anyone being forced to implement this tool, or any of the others, around their group’s table.

At the end of the day, these sorts of tools are designed to help players have better gaming experiences, and can be really helpful in assisting players who have previously had bad experiences to come back and give our hobby another chance. We want more people enjoying our hobby, contributing to it, and from my perspective, buying more books and games and stuff so that our creators can make more books and games and stuff.

Today’s Reason to Celebrate!

Eight years ago today, Vampire 20th Anniversary Edition was released at the Grand Masquerade in New Orleans! Wow, a lot of stuff has happened since then with Vampire! Not to mention the rest of the White Wolf game lines, as well as this little not-so-old company of ours. Why it seems simultaneously both yesterday and a million years ago since I sat in the auditorium signing copies of V20 as the line stretched around the room and out of the door.

“Hey what’s up guys it’s Mallory and welcome to my channel or welcome back to my channel! Today if you you didn’t already read the title then Its a spring break look book! But we have a little bit of a spin on this look book! I ordered five items from five different stores to gets at least five outfits for next week. And before everyone gets up in arms i have videos filmed, and then you’ll get vlogs, no need to worry about that! But for quicker updates don’t forget to follow me on twitter and Instagram for updates. But now, lets get on with the video!

-the video swipes into the first outfit, crop top from Dolls Kills, light wash overall skirt from Zafull, black strappy platform from Zafull, white pearl crossbody bag from Forever 21, & rose earrings from Fashion Nova. Her hair is pulled back into a high pony tail, and her makeup is natural minus her normal extra winged out liner and peach lipstick that matched the flowers in the top. After moving around a little bit showing off most of the outfit it swipes into her standing there to talk about the look-

"So outfit one makes me feel such early 2000s kid. Like i feel like this top was really similar to one that Brittany Spears had on in one part of  Crossroads! And im LIVING for this overall skirt, its going to end up being a staple in my wardrobe, along with these shoes. I swear im going to be at height with my best friends eyes now, or well almost cause I don’t think these are almost a foot taller. So outfit total with bag and earrings came to 110 dollars. So let get onto look number two!”

“So can we just start with my favorite part of this look and that’s this jacket. Its so fun and so me really, and it something that i can throw on over like a white dress or a black one just to add some color, something that i will totally wear again, unlike this body suit, It flatters me yes but  I really wish it had like straps or at least had a spot of add straps if you wanted to. and if we wanna talk about these shorts, my butt looks amazing in them, like  these are a total keeper! So this outfit came to 91 dollars, but when three fifths of the outfit is Forever 21, I don’t blame the outfit for being under 100 dollars, but lets go onto the next look!”

“Okay lets start with the fact that I did end up cheating just a little bit in this look, and not because i repeated the shoes and bag, but that the top and bottoms where separates and i ended up ordering six things from Dolls Kill, and that was actually the site i was the most worried about, but they actually worked out really well in my favor because i think this is my favorite outfit i have done today. ten out of ten would recommend this. Plus these shoes are actually the most comfortable pair of heals i have had on in a long time. So outfit total came to 128 dollars, but seeing as the bag and shoes are a repeat, its really 58 dollars, but onto the fourth look!”

“Have we figured out I love floral yet? No? So i actually I was really worried about this dress, cause i may be curvy up top, but totally not in other spots, but i do not mind this at all. It totally a lets go to a club dress without being too short or anything. And these Zaful shoes are getting the most work out, and I could not match either pair of shoes i got for this so there is that. So 109 for this outfit, or just 49 dollars if you’re repeating shoes like i am. Onto the fifth outfit!”

“Okay so if i had to say i went out of my comfort zone at all it would be this outfit. I don’t even think these shoes match but they were the most expensive thing I got and i had to figure out what outfit they fit with the best. But i think these might be the only thing I end up returning. Everything else i love and will wear again, you might never see me take off these sunglasses honestly! Anyways the total for this outfit came to 156 dollars, but if i swapped the wedges for the Zaful shoes it would bring it down to 130 dollars slash 70 dollars. But lets get onto the bonus outfit that i didn’t mean to make it just kinda happened!”

“So i couldn’t leave a spring break video without some type of swim suit, and i think for me this is really flattering and i can not wait to be laying by the beach or pool in this I really have no negatives over this. Plus I can take the shorts from look two and throw these on if i have to go anywhere and it would still look good! Anyways, this outfit came to 87 dollars, but if i take away the repeats, it brings it down to 62 dollars, and to me that’s a steal. But lets head back to sit down and talk about this!”

Unedited Recap and Review of the New FNAF Book So Far

So I don’t post about Five Nights at Freddy's a lot. It’s always something I’ve kept up with and spent to much money on, but I know that it’s not something a lot of my followers are vying to see so I never post about it, so saying that. I recently picked up the newest book in the FNAF series, it’s supposed to be the last of it’s kind and while I am disappointed because I like the characters I tend to dislike being strung along with no conclusion to a story over a long period of time *cough cough*.

I’m about half-way through The Fourth Closet at the moment. I’m subbed to a few channels who talk about FNAF but they’ve been focusing on custom nights which is perfectly fine and I look forward to them keeping their promises of reading it as soon as they’re done playing UCN. The thing is...

This book is brutal. I have found places in the other two books where I said to myself ‘Scott does know it’ll be mostly kids reading this right?’ but oh boy does this book talk about gore and dark themes in a way that I never expected

Heavy spoilers under the cut

While I can’t lie and say this will be the end all or be all review or because I haven’t finished it or something I thought was like one thing turned out to be another, this will just be some of my thoughts on what’s going on because I just need to get all my thoughts out or I don’t think I’ll sleep tonight

(Just for reference this is written after finishing chapter 8)

So let’s start with the initial impression

First off, I was disappointed the POV was John’s for all of about one chapter. He hasn’t ever been a favorite of mine until this book. Reading about Charlie from his POV was so fun and exciting that I felt like I was apart of the coolest conspiracy in the world. Then Charlie shows up and like you just know it isn’t her at all from the first description that any charter gives to her. It’s crazy that Jessica just saying the Charlie was so distraught over the fact that John wouldn’t talk to her. You know, after ignoring him for forever, and every single thing just added on top of it. Her heels, the idea of her dressing up to meet her friends, the absence of nervous ticks. I mean I guess you could count the arm thing as a nervous tick but I wouldn’t. 

To skip a’head’ a bit, I find it really interesting that Theodore’s head started singing. First off, what power source is he operating under? Not to mention Charlie ripped him up in the last book. It also is weird to me that he started speaking in the first place. Why give that location. Why help at all? I’d like to think it was because there’s a part of him that wants to help Charlie, despite the fact that I’m big time assuming she’s an animatronic. (I feel like that’s the big reveal to a lot of things now-a-days.) I can’t imagine Theodore is possessed, or any of the other little ‘bots Charlie had running around, it’s just rather interesting. Also why specifically there? Why Aunt Jen? 

Skip ahead again. I never ever thought I would read what I did during all of the Aunt Jen business. First off, this whole section just read off to me as actually being frightening. We’ve read Aunt Jen before. Never before has she been running from a copy of her ‘niece’ that I was very scared was actually going to murder her. Jen just seemed so cold, so... unhinged when talking to John and Jessica, her talking about a secret she was going to never share but entertaining them? It completely reads off as a person knowing they’re going to give their final moments of life up soon and being on the run from it. So when ‘Charlie’ comes knocking she sends them off into this bedroom, but before he makes it John finds the endoskeleton that Charlies father used to kill himself hanging in the closet. That’s jarring. The way in the first book it was described as twitching and always seeming like it’s in pain? Awful hated that.. 

So they try to keep quiet in this house, this house in the middle of a ghost town that holds one women with to many secrets, two young adults who are just trying to find out where their friend went, and one animatronic that is described as throwing Jen and as she tries to claw herself away from her death, drags her back and gives the woman her final words, before RIPPING HER STOMACH OPEN. Her final words were admitting her love for her long lost niece. Or is she?

The two friends then find their missing friend in a box... Not to mention from the few little cut scenes we’ve been given, her thoughts sound exactly like the other animatronic lump who’s also in pain. Then another terrifying thing happens, Jessica opens the window while John hides in the closet which Jessica then joins them in and ‘Charlie’ vaults out the window at a breakneck speed and then giggles while jumping. It’s.. wild and the tone is just so dark but in a way where you almost feel like you’re at a twisted carnival but aren’t sure what to make of the acts, are you supposed to scream and struggle or laugh in horror? 

So supposedly this Charlie they got from Aunt Jen’s weird cowboy home is the real Charlie. I haven’t fully decided whether I believe this or not so uhh, we’ll, for the sake of this long long post assume she is. 

So John and Jessica take their friend Charlie back to John’s place and Charlie like naps forever

Also I forgot to mention Clay ended up in the hospital because Baby beat him up, ok I guess there a few things I forgot to mention, First there are a lot of clowns chillin in the town, though despite what Scott might think I would assume a lot less people then I imagined while reading this book would appear in front of a children's establishment dressed like a clown. That just seems like a really really bad idea on so many levels, like on a surface level I’m sure it’s probably being used as like a cover up for the kidnappings but what kind of adult thinks that sounds like a solid idea?!? Anyways baby is in town and is beating up the local sheriff. I figured I would share this with you because when ‘The woman who appeared clown like with graceful feminine movements’ (or something along those lines) is described I figured it was Ballora. It wasn’t. Also before he ended up in the hospital, Ella was actually mention and did more then chill in the closet for like all of the book so that was cool. 

Anyways though, skipping ahead past a scene where ‘Charlie’ traipses around John’s apartment looking for Charlie but doesn’t find her, and the dinner where ‘Charlie’ is given conformation by John to definitely know that ‘Charlie’ killed Jen, and they be known everything that’s going on, let move onto the scene where Jessica hops into ‘Charlies’ car. Follows her to baby’s circus world and then promptly gets vored by ‘Charlie’. 

So, ‘Charlie’ turns out to be Baby... Which is already weird as is, even weirder is that they describe her as being regular people sized which is actually spooky on so many levels like, move over horror movies, Baby being people sized is way worse then you’ll ever be. Then she like rants about never being Afton’s favorite, and then describes grabbing Afton’s daughter with the claw and says she shares her memories but she has Charlies memories? Maybe Charlie is Afton’s daughter but then the Sammy stuff doesn’t make much sense? So Now I’m just confused about all of that??? Plus there like evidence that Henry lost one of his two kids??? ANyways moving on. 

So while Jessica is listening to all of this stuff she’s slowly untying herself from this chair because baby spit her out I guess, and when she finally gets free she opens a closet door and out pops good old lovely Dave! Who dances a jig and sings a song? It’s actually kind of cute for such an awful dirt bag, oh except he was fake. Then out pops old man metal face himself. Scott Caw  William Afton! So after Jessica gets a fun look at his gross body filled with metal and pain, you start to realize Afton was definitely a theater major and he needs some help. So he starts on this monologue as Jessica complains she really doesn’t care about him or his life story, several things happen that are bad. The first is that Afton reveals that the wriggling mass that cried out about being in pain that you see rather infrequently is actually all of the OG (Golden Freddy, Foxy, ect ect) animatronics that he’s keeping together by constantly burning them together. Yeah, dead kids souls are constantly in pain and being burned and melted together, and wow first of all that was awful. The second awful thing Afton does is describe that he is running from death and to do that he’s fusing his body with all of the bodies of the dead children he murdered... Great. And Finally the worst thing he does, is make you sit through reading as Baby cuts out his kidney and then puts in into the mass that is still twitching to get away from him. 

I don’t even know how to describe how awful it is to think that this greedy violent disgusting man could continue to be just the worst person on earth by pushing himself AGAIN on the children he hurt.

Roofing 101: 6 Common Digital Marketing Mistakes to Avoid

So your company has probably messed up HUGE when it comes to digital marketing. I'm gonna break down some of the mistakes that I've made personally in managing hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of ad spend for my clients.

We all make mistakes

So if you are a seasoned roofing company and you are online, you're generating leads, you're spending money on marketing, then you're more than likely making at least one of the mistakes that I'm gonna be sharing with you in this video. And if you are, then you definitely want to watch this video till the very end.

Quick side note, I have a few spots open for that one on one call with myself about my training program specifically for roofers. So if you are interested in that stick around till the very end so I can share a little bit more details about that training program.

So I'm not too proud to admit this but, I make mistakes, right? I am a human being. We all make mistakes. This video in particular is going to put out there some of the mistakes that I made while managing some accounts, and I'm gonna just break it down for you guys, so that you don't make the same mistakes that I made.

Hopefully your marketing companies aren't making the same mistakes that I'm making, and that way you can save every bit of dollar that you have and funnel that towards generating more roofing leads for your business.

1. Not measuring results

So, one of the first mistakes that I made, which cost me quite a bit of money is not measuring results.

Now, before you judge me, this came as a result of the tracking mechanisms not being installed properly on the back end. So I always try to measure results, that's something that I must do, but from time to time, I will make a mistake here and there, and I do this where I check to make sure that I didn't make that mistake, and that's where I caught it, but there were a few days that went by without measuring the results whatsoever.

And so, double-check to see what you're getting in terms of results. I speak to roofing contractors all the time. And I recently got off the phone with a roofing company, and I asked them, "How well is your website performance?". "I don't know", right? Because they have no way of tracking the results.

Ask the crucial questions

Like, well, you're paying a company on a month-to-month, right? What kind of results are you getting? Do you know? Is your phone ringing? Well, it is but how do you know it's coming from that?

Right, these are some of the questions you need to ask yourself. How much are you spending on your advertising, in your marketing company, and what are you getting back in return? How many leads are you getting from your advertising? What is coming of those leads that you're getting, right? How much is that turning into as far as sales?

These are questions that you need to start asking and measuring to make sure that you're doing a good enough job, online or your company, whoever you hired, is doing a good enough job of, so that way you can measure and you can, you know, say, "Oh, you know, "I'm spending this much on a month to month, "and I'm getting this much back".

Because if you don't ask those questions, you will never know.

2. Not learning how to do social media

Mistake number two. Now this is something that it is best if you did on your own, even if you think to yourself, "Oh, I'm not the most tech-savvy, and roofers are notorious for this, being not tech-savvy, and that's okay, right? These are learnable skills. Take the time to learn how to do social media.

This is the mistake number two that I see a lot of roofing companies making online, they're not using social media whatsoever.

There are few roofing companies out there, that I really admire. They're really going... They're doing such an amazing job online with their social medias, using memes, putting their face in the pictures, right? Just something as simple as putting your face in a picture of you on a roof, can make the biggest difference ever, right?

If you're just strictly posting pictures of roofs themselves roofs that you may have done some of the work, that's the first step, which is great.

Add a face behind the company

But remember, this is social, social media, right? We wanna add a face so that we can see the person behind the company, behind the images, and so that we can interact better, right? This will generate more inter-engagement with the photos themselves, right?

So it's not just about the roof, it's also about you and your company, right? We wanna see who represents that company, just so you can see the beautiful face that I have here, and I'm speaking to you directly, you know who my company is, right? Shameless plug, right? I help roofing company owners, okay?

And so this is what you wanna do, you wanna make sure that you put your face in the videos, so that you're able to, get in front of the customer and the customer can see who they're gonna be dealing, interacting with, when it comes to their roof.

Google My Business is probably the number one place for you to generate leads, new eyeballs, new customers for your business.

3. Not understanding how to turn website visitors into leads

Mistake number three, not understanding how to convert or turn website visitors into leads, right? This is a very important step.

So some of you guys you get a report on a month to month basis, that gives you all of these fancy numbers, and somewhere on there, you see that your website got this many clicks. Well, that didn't turn into calls for my business what happened?

So if you haven't already, check out this video here that will show you how to go about optimizing your website, so that you turn new visitors into actual roofing leads for your business.

In a nutshell, to summarize what this is, it's pretty much there are certain elements that you need to have on your website, to make it easy for the visitor to contact you, right? And so you need to push them, steer them, guide them in a direction that you want them to take, right?

Ultimately, all we're looking to do whenever a visitor visits our site, is to have them turn into a lead. And this is what that video is all about. So definitely check that out.

4. Not performing SEO

Digital marketing mistake number four. So with SEO, the mistake is not performing SEO, thinking that your website can simply be built and it'll magically produce leads for your business. That's not the case, right?

You need to actively do something, nurture your website, so that it produces roofing leads for your business, because anybody can have a website. The problem is, most websites don't produce anything. And so how do we go about fixing that?

Perform search engine optimization. Whether you wanna do it yourself, or you wanna hire a company to help you out. You want to do this, but if you cannot realistically tackle this task, this SEO task for the next, say, six months to a year, then I would recommend you don't go that route anyways, right?

Because you need to invest into your SEO, you can't just do it for a month or two and then expect to see results, that's not the case. This is a long-term commitment, and it needs to be done properly on a monthly basis, so that you're able to generate leads from it, let's say a year down the line.

And if you're not ready to commit to something like that, you don't have the cash flow yet to invest into something like this, then stay away from it.

Utilize Google My Business

By using those two tools, you can now generate actual roofing leads for your business, without the hefty monthly management fees that you're gonna be paying for a company to do SEO for you.

Now, if you're paying a company to do SEO for you, I am genuinely curious. I speak to roofers all the time, and I ask this question when they say that they have a marketing company doing SEO for them. What does that mean to you? Right? Let me know in the comments down below.

What does a company doing SEO... What does that even mean? Right? I wanna know what that means to you so that I have a better understanding, as to what your understanding of SEO is, right? But if you're doing SEO, you should be generating leads regularly, right?

Because doing SEO is a lot more than just, backlinks and stuff like that. What are you doing on your website, that's optimizing your website for the search engine? That's exactly what that is, SEO, Search Engine Optimization. How are you optimizing your presence, your website, for the search engines? Let me know in the comments down below.

5. Forgetting about mobile users

Another mistake that I've typically seen is forgetting about mobile users.

You yourself, you're more than likely on your cellphone right now watching this very video. And so, you need to have a website, that is also built for, designed for people who are coming to visit your website from their cell phones, okay?  And so to do this, you would have a website which is called or referred to as "responsive."

If you have a website designer, or somebody who looks after your website, then just ask them, "Is my website responsive?". Meaning, is it gonna show up properly on laptops, desktops, tablets, cell phones, right? Your website will modify a little, just kinda tweak itself to make sure that it shows up properly on all of those different means.

If your website was built in 1990 something, then it probably isn't gonna be responsive, right? It'll just show the same way that it shows on desktop, on your cell phone making it very super hard for anyone to go ahead and take a look at on their cell phones. It'll give them just a bad experience overall.

So make sure that you're taking care of your mobile visitors that it shows up properly, your buttons work, all of your buttons work, your call, call now button, your form submissions, check that stuff on a regular basis because it does break, right?

Double-check everything on your website

This is another mistake, this is a bonus mistake that I'm throwing in there. Double-check everything on your website, as far as contacting you.

Make sure that that stuff works, otherwise, you could go a month, two months, three months, without even knowing that your contact form doesn't work. So double-check that stuff on a weekly basis, right? Just to make sure that it works, and you can actually contact you.

Not offering any discounts or promos

Here's a bonus mistake that I see a lot of roofing companies making online: not offering any discounts or promotions, simply for the fact that they probably don't know how to do it.

If you haven't already, again, shameless plug, I'm gonna keep plugging this, download my Google My Business guide. On there, you can use the posts feature to promote discounts and promos or anything that you have going on, to attract more business. Use that all the time.

If every single week you wanna offer a different discount, you can do that, and Google will help you promote that for free. New eyeballs, new leads, new sales, that is what it'll generate for your business.

Again, download the guide, and it'll show you exactly how to go about setting that up, as well as using it on a day-to-day, week-to-week basis.

Avoid making these mistakes

So there you have it, now you know all of the mistakes. Well, some of the mistakes that I've personally made online that has cost hundreds of thousands of dollars, and you can avoid making just by watching this video.

Sarginson stupid updates making noise in the computer in the face of just about covered on blind dates are then entered the tried again which happened I’m sorry that’s the first one that and you say when it went up about to stop and at the same time I got stopped by entered into the trade and as you can see here is come down again and it’s crossed the dotted line and then it stopped me out again at one seven safe sites what this is done let me just visualize that for you so you can just say a little bit better with that within circles so I first go in here my luck would have started here. One seventy but then it pulled back here and that was the point in which I came out and then went back in again here. And as you can see here it crossed the line from my lock and then went back over here very very quickly these tries very very quickly now I’ve given updates on this as well so explained the I came out my age you’ll come back into it and they all my Sims instantly got hit and you see the time’s cover like I said I’m doing all the real time updates so you guys can see exactly what I’m doing and I’m taking the same tries out don’t forget this isn’t trading advice this is just to try that I’m taking and I just figured I would put it out that you guys get safe so in this instance a K. as you sail into this line here with these green circles are not any point to come across that before hitting this one seven two mark so I didn’t lose anything that’s the importance of it all the other tribes are in the money as you’ve just saying so we’ve got the the XRP long that was in eighteen thirty we currently all this just check over on my other screen we currently on eighteen fifty five die Zeit this marginally in the money I love the game changing money this is just all about risk management now that we got the else tried again as I just explained you know that was you know buying in at two five ten and then we check it out we’re two five thirty six again you know like I said in the money and then lost it again the bitcoin tried which is doing quite well now that that was quite a Brul water bodies are in on this but that’s because I’m targeting is a swing I’m targeting I Graham who kind of got a trial stop of a seven four fifty now off to be transparent here this is just a small account on the twenty five X. going full out going for the whole thing here this isn’t the main tried this woman’s ended at six eight nine six as you can say that is actually in the mine tried for may I am waiting on the sidelines to gets in at six six six eight six six yeah I’m waiting for a bounce out I will say that so if you just go over to my.
