Community Poll pick!

Okay, I’m kind of in a weird position! xD

Two properties were dominating in both polls, and different ones pulled out as the winner for each one. I could take the result from the more recent poll, but that would be unfair to the people who only got to vote in the last poll.

So instead of figuring out this mess, and considering both are relatively short, I’ve decided I’ll liveblog both of these. Consider them Community Poll picks 1 and 2.

So, it’s with great honor that I announce two of my next liveblogs!

Here’s how it’ll go down. As soon as Homestuck, Problem Sleuth, and A Place Further than the Universe are all done, I will begin my She-Ra liveblog. If I finish Season 1 before Season 2 is out, I’ll start Paranatural and liveblog that until the season finally lands. I’ll basically be alternating between the two as new episode of She-Ra releases. I’ll guess it’ll take me 4-5 months to complete both? That’s a rough estimate xDD

Yeah, I can understand that.

No, not at all. It’s not your obligation to forgive someone. It’s good to forgive someone when they are genuinely trying to apologize and change, but you shouldn’t force yourself out of social obligation. It doesn’t work like that. You’re not Mari, who can instantly forgive a backstabbing friend. Forgive at your own pace, and if you never forgive them, that’s fine too. They can always move on.

Okay, distracted by lesbians, let me get my mind back on track.

That was an amazing episode! ^^ Seriously, one of the better ones of the series! I have a new found respect for Hinata now that I understand what happened and what made her what she is now.

And I have so much respect for Shirase. She remembered how Hinata was when she was alone earlier in the snow. She knew she wasn’t ready to forgive them for what they did, so she stepped up for her. Seriously, it was a BAMF moment when she snatched the mic away from her before she could force herself to face her former friends. What a goddamn true friend! 

Oh gosh, I’m getting teary eyed again now xD

Alright, we have two more left to go of this show! I’m certain it’ll break my heart! ^^;;;;

Oh! It’s Citrus!

I have to admit, no one requested this anime, I put it on my list on my own volition ^^

It’s got the weird sorta incest angle, though. I mean they aren’t blood related, their parents just married so they haven’t been step-siblings for all that long. So it’s more like, a forbidden love than a, FORBIDDEN LOVE!

...I need to watch Sakura Kiss. Women smooching is so enticing! :O

I’ve been hesitant to put this on my liveblog list because I’ve seen up to Season 3 episode 7.

I make an exception with shows I’ve only seen season 1 of as it’ll EVENTUALLY be blind, but when I’ve seen most of the series, it kind of defeats the purpose. xD

(I also make exceptions for shows I literally haven’t seen in decades because at least you guys get me going nuts rediscovering a show. This is why I put Hamtaro on the the list despite my familiarity with it.)

Also, Nikki is my favorite character in Camp Camp, hands down <3

And that’s probably the biggest problem here. Shirase can’t understand that Hinata just has a different way of handling problems, and she can’t understand that there’s nothing wrong with the way she took it. Everyone is different and maybe cutting the problem from her life is the healthiest way for her to go about it.

Plus anyways, she’s found friends that WOULD stick up for her, and HAVE! Seriously, goddamn Shirase just being like “Screw your self-sacrifice, YOU MATTER TO ME” was HUGE in retrospect knowing her background now.
