Community Poll pick!

Okay, I’m kind of in a weird position! xD

Two properties were dominating in both polls, and different ones pulled out as the winner for each one. I could take the result from the more recent poll, but that would be unfair to the people who only got to vote in the last poll.

So instead of figuring out this mess, and considering both are relatively short, I’ve decided I’ll liveblog both of these. Consider them Community Poll picks 1 and 2.

So, it’s with great honor that I announce two of my next liveblogs!

Here’s how it’ll go down. As soon as Homestuck, Problem Sleuth, and A Place Further than the Universe are all done, I will begin my She-Ra liveblog. If I finish Season 1 before Season 2 is out, I’ll start Paranatural and liveblog that until the season finally lands. I’ll basically be alternating between the two as new episode of She-Ra releases. I’ll guess it’ll take me 4-5 months to complete both? That’s a rough estimate xDD

Well, that makes sense. Homestuck is a marvel of storytelling and world building; the endeavors of one guy with an insane vision. It’s incredibly unique, but it’s uniqueness keeps it from being viable mainstream. A lot of those animators and comic artists were just the right people to have an interest in Hussie’s brand of storytelling.

Though, it’s funny to think what the world would be like if Homestuck and the Simpsons trades places. Karkat being featured in butterfingers ads...

And that was Problem Sleuth!

God, that was a bit of a ride! ^^;

So the characters were a lot less fleshed out than in Homestuck. It was kind of a bummer as it was a huge reason I gravitate towards HS. It’s a rollercoaster ride, and you’re not really expected to understand everything. The references baked into the plot, where you’d need to know the reference to understand what’s really going on... Yeah, that was a little infuriating. I mean, you might recall a few instances of me getting angry at the comic ^^;;;;

But, looking back, I did have fun! Despite pulling out attacks out of nowhere and spending half the comic on the same stupid fight, I did have some enjoyment in seeing the little guys and gals making little bits of progress, and it was kind of uplifting when they eventually won! It’s a pointless frustrating journey, but it’s one I mostly look back fondly!

This... yeah, I think that sums it up!

I have APFTTU on Thursday, but besides that, it’s nothing but Homestuck until it’s finished! (Though I might squeeze in a fan animations at some point.)
