- Felicity is jealous of Dinah - what happens in Russia - girl is hurt and pissed

- John understandably wants to cause pain

- I miss Rory. Can he come back and replace ALL of NTA?

- Poor Felicity having to deal with a nuclear weapon AGAIN - that’s just cruel - thank you MG I’m sure

- John Diggle is a good man

- Felicity hugging Oliver is TOO WONDERFUL

- Rory stopping the nuke!

- The team shooting vodka :)

- Anatoly reminds Oliver that the Bratva oath is for life

- I will never understand Oliver sleeping with Susan - he didn’t even seem attracted to her. I don’t know how he trusts her at all. Susan pushing about the island is just an added layer of ick. And she sees the Bratva tattoo as he’s shirtless. 

- Rene helping Quentin did nothing to endear him

- Susan investigating Oliver Queen shows that she is a horrible girlfriend, how come Oliver NEVER sees this....it’s like they just expected us to forget her evilness and leave it unexplained. GRRRR.

Arrow Rewatch 2018 3x20: The Fallen

- Stephen's acting is on point at the beginning of this episode. From the moment he finds Thea bleeding, his shock and dismay during the hospital scenes. To the utter devastation as Oliver contemplates losing his sister. He portrays a myriad of emotions so beautifully. Kudos.

- Oliver looks so lost when John and Felicity show up. This small scene highlights perfectly how deep their connection runs. They feel his pain so vividly.

- of course Oliver will sacrifice himself for Thea. It's Oliver. That's what he does.

- 'The one we lost because of you!'

YES!!!!!! This is all Malcolm's fault.

- 'I'd prefer that we didn't do our usual 'please don't go' dance.'

Yeah, Oliver. She's coming with you.

- 'Seeing you two together last night, I realise you don't love me because you're in love with him.' Poor Ray. Once he dropped the stalker shit he kind of grew on me, but he never had a chance with my girl. Her heart has always been with Oliver. Good luck on your 'future' endeavours ;)

- Felicity bringing Oliver a blanket because he 'looked chilly' is quite possibly the cutest thing ever. She is so intune with him. I love how she taps his shoulder and then touches his knee.The physical contact is back.

'Thanks for letting me be here for you.'

'You're welcome. I didn't have much of a choice though, did I?'

'No. I wanted to make you think you had grown a little as a person.'

So married.

- Oliver tells Felicity that he feels that he failed in protecting his sister. Felicity’s heart breaks for him.

- The League's welcoming committee greets the team.

- The magic hottub worked; Thea's alive. But very confused.

- Felicity Smoak facing Ras Al Ghul in defense of the man she loves is a monumental moment. It is everything. My girl is fire. Ras sees it. He totally understands why Oliver loves her. Same. Felicity is willing to go to war to save Oliver.

'You need to tell Oliver goodbye. Tell him how much you love him. Tell him whatever your heart needs to express and do it now. Before he is lost to you forever.' Ras ships it.

- 'I wish that I could change your mind about staying here. And I know I can't. Just like I know that leaving you here is going to destroy me. I don't regret a single moment. And you shouldn't either. You have done so much. You have saved so many people's lives, and you have changed so many for the better...including mine. Knowing you has changed my life. You have opened up my heart in a way I didn't even know was possible...I love you.'

I love her words here. I love that we finally get to see Felicity express how she feels. And with just a simple closure of his eyes, we see how much her words mean to him

Her love for Oliver shines through from every pore. She can't contain it anymore. We hear her talk about what Oliver has done for her. The talk is always about what Felicity has done for Oliver, her impact on his life. But he has had significant impact on her too. He found her hiding away in that cubicle all those years ago. He saw that she was trustworthy. That she was capable of so much more. He inspired her to use her talents for a greater purpose. To live up to her full potential. And he opened her heart up to love. She had built some pretty high reaching walls around herself due to her past, and Oliver was the one to knock them down. She found love and friendship. She found her true self and her true partner. They really did find themselves in each other. Their best selves.

The chemistry sizzles between Stephen and Emily throughout this scene. It's passionate, yet tender. Him slowly removing her glasses, them not being able to take their eyes off each other, the way he carries her to bed, she strokes his chest, his hands running down her back...they are absolutely scintillating. This whole scene is just so beautifully done. It's romantic while being hot af. 32 million views on YouTube don't lie.

- 'So...that happened.' Oliver's cute little smile. He just turns to mush for his girl.

'I'm glad it did.'

'Me too.'

ME TOO!!!!!!!!!!

His 'There's us' just annihilates me. Adorable.

- Felicity drugs him. 'I can't lose you. I won't.'

- 'How did you know you were going to completely lose your mind?' lol Diggle.

- Felicity will stand up for her man. 'So don't even try to play games with me.' A Queen.

- I love that Malcolm is all fancy sword work fighting the League, while John just shoots them and Felicity hits them with a spear. My team, ladies and gentlemen.

- Maseo helps them thanks to wise words from John Diggle. They should just get him to talk to all of the villains each season, let him give them his advice and all will be well.

- 'Hold! I am Al Sahim; warrith al ghul, Heir to the Demon and you will obey.'

BAD. ASS. the deep voice he uses is kind of hot. So commanding.

- 'Oliver, please?'

'Thank you for trying. I love you all the more for it.' I'm not crying. You are.

- Oliver saying goodbye to Thea is so sad. He loves her so much.

- 'John, you're the best man I've ever known. Whatever happens, you're my brother.' John's welling up. Oliver is too. I'm fine.

- Oh Oliver, you're such a big dummy sometimes. She can't go on living her life happily, because you won't be in it. You make her happy, Sweetie.

- 'We're always saying goodbye to each other. You'd think I'd be good at it by now.'

'Well let's not say goodbye this time.'

I'm not fine.

One last kiss while the light from the fire shines behind them. Nice parallel to their first kiss. Both times she walks away from him though. This needs to stop. My heart. My otp is so epic. I can't.

- Thea and Felicity’s devastation at losing Oliver is so heartbreaking.

- Maseo owns up to Ras and is spared for his betrayal.

- 'Oliver Queen is dead. Eventually to be reborn as Ras Al Ghul, but for now, only the Arrow remains. Al Sahim, Heir to the Demon.'

The last shot of Al Sahim is amazing. When he looks up...badass.

Arrow Rewatch 2018 - 3x01

Y’all, this is a long one. I apologize. But not really because it’s just me fangirling about Olicity the majority of the time, sooooo. Hahaha.

One of my favorite episodes of Arrow!

— I love all the sequences of Oliver running through the forest/woods/trees to start the season. Wish they had kept up with that!

— OTA and Roy looking as polished as they possibly can! Well. Oiled. Machine.

— “Did you buy me a bed?” “You were sleeping on the floor.” All my Olicity feeeels!

— ALL THE FEELINGS. Her cupping his face. Him looking after her so lovingly. Those two are such goners.

— “Lyla has me trying to build a bassinet from hell.” Hahaha.

— “Maybe Felicity will change all that.” DOES SHE EVER.

— “You love her. You even told her so.” “I was trying to fool Slade.” “Ah, yes. But now the only one you’re fooling is yourself.” Preach, Diggle! Preach!

— The Hong Kong flashbacks are my favorites.

— This is one episode I actually like Laurel in. Haha.

— Quentin in his uniform! Gah, I’m gonna miss him.

— Whoever directed this episode did an amazing job of having Oliver standing behind Quentin in the background as he gives recognition to the Arrow.

— Vertigo! I love episodes with vertigo. Just another reason for this being one of my faves! Haha.

— OLIVER ASKED FELICITY OUT ON A DATE. FINALLY!!!

— I love that he had to take a breath, gather himself, and then ask her again. Like he knew this was going to change his life the moment he asked it, either for the better or worse. And her immediate response? Gah. Dead.

— Poor Felicity. Having to wear khakis. Gross.

— “Do you like Italian?” LOVE this whole sequence!

— “You got a hot date or something?” That smiiiiillleeee!!!

— I have a confession to make. I love Olicity. More than any other couple ever. We all know this. BUT I actually don’t HATE Ray and Felicity. I loved the introduction to his character. I love that he was someone that could be a filler for Oliver until he got his shit together. I love that he understood Felicity and her little quirks (just as much as Oliver). I love that he caused all the angst. I really just love Ray as a character. Okay. Just needed to get that out before I continued on with the season. Hahaha. (Don’t hate me, please)

— “I feel like an M1A1!” Hahaha, the look on the doctors fave was priceless.

— THE LOOK OF HAPPINESS ON THEIR FACES. THE HUG. THE HAND SQUEEZE. THE FELICITY BABBLES. BOTH OF THEM BEING SO NERVOUS. OLIVER ACTUALLY BEING OPEN. THE RED PEN. THE TRUST. THE ANGST. OLIVER IN PROTECTIVE MODE. HOW CAN ANYONE NOT LOVE THEM/THIS DATE?!

I’m chill, I’m totally chill. (I’m never chill when it comes to these two)

— “You’re the first person I could see as a..person. There was just something about you.” “Yeah, I was chewing on a pen.” “It was red.” I AM SO EMOTIONAL.

— As soon as he opens his eyes he’s searching for her. Precious.

— And as soon as she wakes up she’s screaming his name. THESE TWO MAKE MY HEART SO HAPPY.

— “Get away from him or get put down!” Quentin has come so far.

— Going to take note every time Felicity asks Oliver if he’s okay this season (because I forgot to the last two seasons haha), 1/1!

— Oliver looking out for Diggle is one of my favorite things.

— Tatsu, Maseo, and Akeo!

— “If I’m not a cop, what am I?” A kick ass deputy mayor for one!

— “You two know each other..?” “Ooooh, frak.” LOLOL.

— PROUD WIFEY FELICITY.

— Oliver’s confused face whenever Felicity says something he doesn’t understand is FOREVER my favorite. Hahaha.

— Oliver hates Ray so much already. Hahaha.

— Loving all the new technology this season!

— OMG. I never noticed that Oliver is looking right at Felicity when he says “It’s the life I can’t have.” GAAAAHHHHHH. KILL ME WITH ALL THE ANGST PLZ.

— “DAMMIT OLIVER, YOU WOULD BE DEAD TEN TIMES OVER IF IT WASNT FOR ME!” True story. I get where Diggle is coming from, but Oliver is right. He needs to be with Lyla and his daughter.

— Side note: Roy’s new suit is FIIIIREEEE.

— Sara! Hey girl!

— Roy and Felicity with the save!

— I LOVE Oliver and Sara as friends.

— “You know how I said I knew a guy that’s looking to hire you?” *points to himself* hahaha.

— “All my data has been replaced with porcupine flatulence.” Hahahaha, dont mess with Felicity. Love this whole exchange so much.

— “BTW, might wanna check your iPad while you’re at it.” Hahahaha.

— “The second I looked at her my whole universe changed. Everything changed.” OLIVER GAZING AT FELICITY. MELT MY FREAKING HEART.

— Doliver’s bromance is everything.

— Oliver knows Felicity is his soulmate. But he has to grow and change into the person that he’s meant to become before he accepts that it’s okay to love her. I get that, but it still sucks that we had to wait a whole season (okay 3 seasons) for it. But again, ALL THE ANGST.

— That kiss punches me right in the gut. EVERY SINGLE TIME I WATCH IT.

— “Don’t ask me to say that I don’t love you.” The way he stares at her. The way he’s cupping her face. The way she is completely out of breath. I CANNOT. I JUST CANT.

— I LOVE that he just holds his hands up where her face was after she walks away. He’s just like “shit. What did I just do? Did I just lose the love of my life?” It’s heartbreaking.

— Barry! What’s up, my friend?!

— “Laurel Lance. Always trying to save the world.” “Runs in the family.” Love their relationship.

— BUT BUT WHHHYYY SARA?! Gah. Forever sad about that death. Even if she did come back to life, haha.

alli’s Arrow 2x02 rewatch thoughts

(Aka: Felicity establishes some friendship rules for OTA)

Diggle: “Why the sudden interest in my love life?” Oliver: “If it’s important to you, it’s important to me.” aww! (and yet, it’s easier for Oliverto acknowledge a real love and friendship for Dig because his feelings toward Dig are straightforward, unlike his feelings toward Felicity)

Felicity “I quit!” With newfound confidence, self-worth, sass. Partially because this is her professional sphere, where she always had a lot of confidence. And partially because she has become more aware of her own strength, bravery, and sees herself as more of an equal.

I think this change in Felicity is very similar to the change we see in her after Oliver “dies” in his duel with Ra’s al Ghul. When he comes back, everyone has gone through a lot without him, and in 3x13 Felicity’s like “That doesn’t mean we can go back.” We never get to see what they go through when Oliver leaves after the Undertaking, but it’s safe to say it had a profound effect on them. Felicity grows more confident - both because during the Undertaking she helped mitigate the damage and was heroic and self-sacrificing, and because she had to come to terms with fear and pain in its aftermath.

She always did have fight in her when pushed, when her unconscious confidence rose to the surface, but she’s not holding herself back now. Last season I measured progress in her almost-touches, but this right here she jabs him in the chest unapologetically. “Which you think I am going to accept.” And unlike the Oliver of old who held himself apart, he kinda plays along lolol. She jabs him and he reacts bodily like she pushed him hard (the first in a long line of Oliver-reacting-to-Felicity-punching-him-as-if-it-hurts), looking down like “did you really just do that?” ADORABLE. (But he basically accepts it and this is the real start of Oliver and Felicity being handsy with one another.)

“Every time we need to discuss how we spend our nights.” // “And I love spending the night with you.” OMGGGG though I’m so struck this time around by how much this flirty sexual tension is ON THE SURFACE. Like, ON. THE. SURFACE. I’m just picturing Diggle already thinking they need to get a room.

Meanwhile I love how Oliver tries to catch John’s eye like “can you believe the big deal she’s making over this?” but instead John adds his own, “Well it could be worse. My secret identity’s as his black driver.”

So she gives in but she makes sure to let him know she won’t make this easy for him: she’s gonna be loud and opinionated! Slamming her hand on his desk, clomping loudly in her high heels, and then: “May I get you a cup of coffee?”

She’s provoking him, instead of simply holding silent. She wants him to know she’s serious. She wants him to know that she’s done silently doing his bidding while fading in the background. Also, the dress. The clothes and the attitude definitely go together. And the hair. All of it deliberately provocative. My godddddddd this scene is everything!

And then THIS SCENE after Oliver’s ambushed by the SCPD:

Felicity reaches out and almost touches his arm in sympathy, but then at Dig’s mention of Laurel: “Hey! Go easy on him!” (“It’s all right, Felicity.”) “No. It’s not.” SHE GRABS HIS ARM and this is the first time she’s ever grabbed him and he looks down like “wtf is happening?” I think he’s equally caught off guard by the fact that she grabbed him and the fact that he’s letting her.

“You don’t get to jump down his throat just because you happen to be having a lousy week. You’re pissed - he invoked the almighty Laurel.” This is the first time she calls out the way he reveres Laurel. Definitely Oliver’s personal life has always been “off limits,” but she’s done with that. And she’s mocking him over it.

Felicity’s speech and anger on John’s behalf basically draws a sharp contrast between the way Oliver treats Diggle and Felicity versus the way Oliver treats Laurel. On the one hand, Dig and Felicity know his secrets, have his trust, and risk their lives for him, while Oliver constantly questions their judgment, disregards their advice, and leaves them out to dry. On the other hand, Laurel doesn’t know anything about who he is now, doesn’t risk her life for him, and now is actively working against them, while Oliver continues to keep her on a pedestal and disallows anyone from saying anything bad against her.

So in this scene Felicity is defending Dig, but she’s also standing up for herself, requiring that Oliver recognize that THEY ARE IMPORTANT. They are people too, and they are actual friends who deserve respect, and he’s got to listen to what they have to say and he can’t just act without taking their needs and concerns into consideration anymore. (And yeah, I 100% believe she’s still bitter about him making her his EA without at the very least consulting her. Wow! Just realized how deep this boy’s patterns of behavior run. Season 2, season 4 (and now, dammit, season 6 😫 though I blame that on bad writing, not a lapse in Oliver)).

The thing about the way Oliver and Felicity communicate is that he always catches her subtext. I am sure he caught this subtext, which is why it had such an impact on him - why he seems apologetic to her, even though the argument was ostensibly over Oliver’s treatment of Diggle.  

But she turns her back on him and walks away. I think this is the first time she ever actually turns her back and walks away from him. And it cuts him because maybe without him even realizing it they’ve gotten to the point where her opinion of him matters.

Mmkay just so we are clear: Felicity as Oliver’s EA is just so delicious, one of my favorite things about season 2, and I absolutely think it helped bring them closer faster. I wishhhh we saw more of it on the show. Thankfully there’s EA fanfic, some of which I’m writing.

“Miss Smoak.” “Hmm?” “Would you get my guest and I some coffee?” HE IS ABSOFUCKINGLUTELY TRYING TO PUSH HER BUTTONS HERE. You can tell by his little smile that it’s a challenge. (ADORABLE!)

OH OLIVER, FELICITY HAS COME TO PLAY: “You know, I would Mr. Queen, but it seems someone’s broken our coffeemaker. Violently.” ACHIEVEMENT UNLOCKED: PLAYFULNESS (and deeper respect).

Oliver: “I got wrapped up in my own suffering and I forgot that some other people might be suffering too.” OH YOU THINK, OLIVER? At least we’re seeing the immediate payoff of Felicity’s influence right here. *sigh*

AND THEN: The coffee cup of emotions. “One.” She brings him that coffee because she can see he’s feeling down, and because she sees he’s apologizing to Dig and just generally trying. So the context of her bringing the coffee has entirely changed, which is why she allows it: this isn’t the action of an EA, but of a friend.

AND THAT, MY FRIENDS, IS HOW YOU BUILD A BEAUTIFUL, STRONG, SLOW-BURN SHIP BASED ON MUTUAL RESPECT.

Workout montage 😍

Season 2 Oliver in a suit is just something to behold. And then. The grey t-shirt. Which I am also very okay with.

(Not gonna lie, I skimmed through a lot of the flashback and Laurel stuff because honestly none of that ends up being really significant in the long run. And as I said earlier, I find Oliver/Shado to be icky, and Laurel in season 2 to be pretty annoying, so….)

So season 2 was the debut of Katie Cassidy’s new chin and I have never been a fan, sorry. I mean, a person can do what they want as long as it makes them happy, but there was nothing wrong with her original chin. :\

I had forgotten about the weird Laurel/Sebastian relationship thing. Uck.

*ring* “It’s Felicity.” (Oliver to Felicity:) “Tell me.” Those communication skills tho.

She’s just gained so much confidence in the Arrow Cave, too! Her voice, her attitude, it’s awesome.

(“Who in the hell could be feeding us year-old surveillance?”) Bwaahaaa, cute confident Felicity, that’s who!

Chien Na Wei is so awesome. I miss the old-fashioned fights that didn’t have progressively-unbelievable “canary cries,” if I’m honest.

Eermigerd tho this little BrOTP Oliver/Diggle scene: “I didn’t need one of your trick arrows.” “I couldn’t risk it. Where would I be without my black driver?” WHEN THESE TWO JOKE WITH EACH OTHER, YOU GUYS. It’s like the alignment of all the planets and there are like rainbows and puppies and library fines amnesty.

Arrow Rewatch 2018:eps 1-3

Episode 1 what I like is the tie in with the end of season five including the Deathstroke mask and everything.  I see a lot of sadness and hurt in the eyes and I think ti’s portrayed really well.  The fake smile for Tommy vs the genuine smile for Thea was interesting.  Shading Walter and his Mother.  LOL Laurel yuck okay no chemistry she seems like someone stuck in hate and the past and yeah not what I thought because everyone played up that she was the love of his life before I watched the show either they scripted it wrong or they picked the absolute wrong person to portray her.  The kidnapping I wonder if Moira paid them prior to them kidnapping him because if she didn’t he sure saved her some money LOL. The list first Adam Hunt that was fun especially the slipping of Diggle. To me it seems they fit more story in than they do now. The party being across from Adam Hunts building and using the sniffer arrow cool tricks.  I wonder who he went to for that tech device before Felicity. Also his set up of the Lair and workout scenes yummy.  THe police scanner and basic computer was cute especially considering what the Bunker had in it WOW.

Episode 2 The declaration of Life was interesting Thea and the partying repeat of Oliver prior to the Island.  The dedication of the Building they blew up in season 2 was cute Robert Queen Applied Sciences and him putting on a terrible show hilarious but not at the same time.  More ditching of John to deal with Nociente and Chyna White.  Even when they are eating Ice Cream together it looks like she wants to bite his head off constantly but it might just be me. I also felt that the Triad was more intimidating than anything this past season. Then the moira ominous limo meeting dundundun.

Episode 3 Getting along for the sake of getting along yeah. Night club idea I forgot it was brought up this early on.  Thea getting grounded best thing Oliver trying to control her not so good only pushes he away.  Floyd Lawton time. Felicity I just love the sideways glance that says “I know you are lying but I will go along with it for now.” the smile the magic you could feel it that episode I so could the first time I watched and every time after and the first time I didn’t know who she was I was still supposed to believe somehow chemistry would form between him and Laurel meh.  Carly and Big Belly Burger discussing the night club again. The Unidac auction and the gun shooting action hiding the hood in a garbage can Diggle chasing after him not realizing what would happen getting shot then Oliver saves him and a friendship is about to truly be born.  The feels.

I don’t know if this is how we are supposed to do this but it’s how I do it.  So read it don’t comment don’t makes no difference because I am watching it for me.

Arrow Rewatch 1x02

Alright episode 2, Honor Thy Father.

-Oliver gets legally brought back to life. Pretty cool

-We hear about all the times he was in court before hand, honestly though I’m with Tommy, stealing a cab sounds like a great time

-Laurel, being Laurel, tries to save another person but gets Oliver’s help on the problem

-Moira needs to understand that Oliver literally just came back from being on an island for 5 years and does not want to automatically get a desk job

-Yes, he’s a Queen and technically he should have a job in the company but give the dude a break from being an infamous Queen for a hot second and just let him be. (I get very defensive about Oliver when dealing with Moira😂)

-Speedy, getting into bad things that are just going to lead to more problems

-Also being super teenagery in the way of deflecting all her problems and not accepting help

-But bringing up a good point to Oliver that he’s got to talk to SOMEBODY (we all know who he chooses, our favorite blond)

-At this moment I don’t actually blame Thea for how she acts. She did lose her dad and brother in one day and had to deal with that on her own basically. But still, not dealing with it in the best way

-Hanging out with Laurel, even though she’s being bitchy. Interesting.

-Side note I love how Cassidy looks in this season! I don’t know what it is about her but I think she looks great

-First time John sees some of Oliver’s talents

-Really freaking impressive how far he throws that butter knife and it makes it. Like damn boy you go

-Quentin needs to breathe when dealing with Oliver, I know your mad that Sara is “dead” but he can’t go back in time and change what happened. And we all know if he could he would, cause Oliver’s a giant teddy bear

-I get why Oliver puts on the “Ollie” act in public, to make them think he hasn’t changed and all that, but it still breaks my heart to see Thea and Moira’s faces when he acts like he’s 17 and dumb

-They’re so sad, like they got him back but nothing has changed but at the same time in private it’s obvious that he has changed

-Then it goes to Oliver talking to his dads headstone, the dad that Oliver’s trying SO hard to make proud and to right his wrongs and it makes me so upset!

-It makes me want to go up to Oliver and have a not so nice chat with him to make him get his head out of his ass and start making better choices. Ugh when is Felicity coming on we need her desperately

I loved, loved, loved this episode!!

~First of all, Lyla and Diggle. I love that he was willing to go to Russia, all by himself to save his ex wife.

~Second, I love that Oliver immediately tells him that they’ll visit QC over there. He is being their for one of his best friends.

~ugh, we so did not need Isabel Richev, there. But she is. And she’s annoying. If I disliked her before, I definitely hate her now.

~Poor Felicity. Having to go to the hotel with her. I mean, I get it. She needs to be protected. But still.

~Oliver speaking Russian. 😍😍 I love it no matter how many times he’s done it.

~I’m glad she tried to think of something else to save Lyla. She didn’t want John going in there. Since she couldn’t control things like back home. I wish we could see more of their friendship.

~When Oliver tells Felicity, that he said Please, and that wink.

~I think Oliver should have defended Felicity better. Like make it known she was not sleeping with him. I just disliked that but of the SL. It’s not fair to Felicity, that people talked about her because she became Oliver’s assistant.

~The way Diggle sets aside his feelings for Dead shot, to save Lyla. I think that, that speaks a lot about him. And the love he still has for her.

~I loved the look of relief on Lyla’s face. And the “You came for me” bit. I wish they would show us more of their relationship too.

~John half naked was something yummy to look at too. 😏

~I love that Lyla, was the exception to everything. And that John tells her, that she is.

~I miss Lyla’s long hair.

~and finally, the pancake scene. Well when they talk about pancakes. Another of my favorites.

This is an episode I really, really enjoyed! Mostly for the Lyla and John SL.

Arrow Rewatch 2018: 5x15

Quick Thoughts

- I admit, I am STILL angry with Oliver from the episode - it’s been over a year and I’ll never forgive.

- I know people think Oliver is stupid or at least does stupid things especially in the early seasons but I never thought that. Still don’t. Oliver never behaved stupidly in my opinion until this and the previous episode.

- The fact that he thought it was okay to ask Felicity to help him with his girlfriend and continued to push after Felicity looked hurt and said with her words this wrong - UNFREAKING FORGIVEABLE!

This by far my favourite Felicity dress!

- Then Susan complains to his face that she can’t out him as the Green Arrow and he continues to feel bad FOR HER and blame Thea and Felicity! WTF?

- Yes, blackmailing the councilmen was not cool, surprised Felicity was down with it but this is her dark time. Would have been cooler if Felicity did not out Thea to Oliver - but she did - WHY DIDN’T WE SEE THAT CONVERSATION?

- The vigliante is stupid

- Adrian Chase is Prometheus - it would have been awesome if I hadn’t seen it speculated - hence, I no longer read spec or spoilers.

- Despite his CONSTANT stupidity - to the point, I thought he was playing Susan at the time - he really couldn’t be this dumb. HE IS SO SO SO HOT!

- Looking at the pretty helps this horrid episode go down - like a spoon full of sugar...

- Oliver throwing the Green Arrow under the bus...the Green Arrow is not a hero. Now I REALLY HURT. 

- How can he want there to be an US? Oliver clearly did not hit his head hard enough!!

- I don’t think Thea is broken - more stupidness

- Poor Curtis he didn’t see those divorce papers coming at all

- Felicity joins Helix

- Adrian taking Susan makes me SO HAPPY

Arrow Rewatch 2018: 5x08

Quick Thoughts

- Unpopular opinion -I did not like this episode.

- SHIRTLESS Oliver!

- I get what they were trying to do paying homage to past episodes but as a person who loved the past episodes, they focused on the WRONG THINGS. The lack of Felicity and OTA was just plain offensive

- Why is Felicity not freaking out - AT ALL??

- Rene’s dislike of metas and aliens feels racist and ignorant

- Laurel’s wedding dress was very pretty

- The alien thing was just stupid

- Thea’s storyline was the most heartbreaking, I completely understand why she wanted to stay in the dream world. She also had the coolest lines. I enjoyed her shooting an arrow for Sara to catch, that she was the one to figure out the alien spaceship - she really was the highlight of it all.

- Of course I loved the Smoak Technologies building

Arrow Rewatch 2018 4x07: Brotherhood

I'm back!!!!!

- James Bamford's first episode as director.

- Oliver encourages John to give his brother the benefit of the doubt.

- Great shot of Oliver on look out. I love how the the camera pans up to him standing watch over his city.

- Andy's alive!!!! I got chills at John's reaction. He is stunned. My poor bb. So much of John's journey has been about finding justice for Andy, now, not only is he trying to come to terms with the fact that Andy wasn't the good guy he thought he was, but that he's alive. And has been this whole time.

- Season 4 flashbacks are the worst.

- Look at Star City's power couple. Olicity dress up nice.

- 'This has to be a better way than how you usually spend your evenings; dressing in leather and tying people up.' That lady's reaction lol.

- Felicity with her proud wife hearteyes at Oliver's speech.

- John Diggle, you break my heart. David Ramsey is killing it this episode. And me.

- Felicity listing all of Oliver's terrible ideas is hilarious. I'm pretty sure that's just the cliffs notes version lol.

- Her reminding him why he's running and talking him out of getting into bed with Dahrk- the whole time I found myself wishing we'd had a scene like this in S6 when Oliver decided to keep her out of the loop. Another terrible idea for the list.

- the way he looks at her is just everything. The boy is the definition of hearteyes.

- Thea's bloodlust is back in a big way. Can't say I'm too sad about her pummeling the 'No means yes' creep.

- Dyla!!!!! Lyla is always offering good advice and David Ramsey is just ripping my heart out. I hate seeing John hurting.

- Felicity patching up bae.

- 'Let's take this son of a bitch down in the light of day.' Hell yes! That's my boy, John.

- The team wanting to save Andy for John's sake is just giving me all the feels.

- 'Deadly bingo.' Never change, Felicity.

- The fight between Thea and Andy in the elevator was pretty cool.

- So Damien's magic somehow clears Thea's bloodlust. Huh?

- 'My brother needed me. The Green one.' BROTP 4 LIFE!!!!!

Rating: ☆☆☆1/2 John Diggle in pain hurts me in my soul. Confession; I'm absolutely dreading watching the crossover. I've been putting off getting back into this rewatch because I detest the bmd storyline so much. Just need to power through.

Quick Thoughts

- This is the second episode featuring Wild Dog, in the first I thought I should hold off judgement but this one I had decided - I do not like him. That could change if he grows up - guess what? That still hasn’t happened

- Oliver doing the salmon ladder in a suit is HOT - just like Felicity said!

- I love that Oliver wants to do a free medical clinic

- The on the line drill is wonderful - if you like watching Oliver take people down. I do :)

- Wild Dog dissing Oliver without knowing it not winning any points

- Felicity giving Oliver her loud voice and calling him out - love it! But how does she know how he treated Curtis last year? Curtis told her??

- When I got to know you, the real you - I was in awe - STILL one of my favourite Olicity moments

- He is the one that I chose to stand by and continue to choose to stand by - so much wonderful Olicity!

- Poor Diggle joined the army to find peace and they killed the kid! 

- Felicity and Thea teaming up on Oliver is so sweet, love them all meeting in the Mayor’s office

- OMG Poor Felicity! She is in so much pain.

- Hello Rory - the only newbie I actual liked. I wish Oliver had thought to talk to Felicity BEFORE inviting the last living person from Havenrock to join their team. Seems a tad insensitive

- Thea is so Moira behind that desk

- Oliver asks if Felicity’s okay - little late for that but I guess I’m glad it happened.

- Rene calling Felicity “Blondie” should have been corrected IMMEDIATELY. NOT repeated!

- Felicity looks at Oliver such love - the heart eyes are too much

- Prometheus is creepy right from the start - unlike Diaz

- No shirtless Oliver :(

Quick Thoughts

- Oliver looks soo hot in that winter parka - he really doesn’t need to be shirtless when he has good hair and scruff

- Felicity looks so happy at Helix, but she still sees the potential for bad

- Oliver’s anger toward Chase is awesome and I really do love how cool a bad guy Adrian Chase was

- Oliver missing Felicity sigh

- I’m good if Susan dies - just putting that out there

- I never should have gotten involved with Susan what was I thinking? You were lonely, man. - I was so happy about this that I missed Oliver implies again he shouldn’t be with someone because he wears the hood - then Felicity walks in the door...I wish she could have corrected that train of thought 

- Oliver’s conversation with Felicity was SO WONDERFUL! Why? Because they talked...so rare for this show. Breaks my heart that Felicity was surprised to hear Oliver was worried about her. Oliver trusting her was sweet but stupid...he should have pushed

- The Bratva stuff is awesome

- Pike! No!

- Good on Curtis for calling out Felicity’s illegal hacking

- Oliver’s throwing himself a pity party - glad John is there but he never let himself get close with Susan - I watched the show, I know this even if the writers do not

- Adrian killing his wife - didn’t see that coming....

- Felicity looked strickened about Oliver being taken. I swear if he’s been with them when they came back, Felicity would have launched herself at him.

- Helix is going to take advantage of Felicity - there is nothing she won’t do to find Oliver

- Adrian Chase is so bad he’s awesome - hanging out at the cop shop, making Oliver disappear while saying the Green Arrow killed his wife and that he’s in mourning! Threatening to send Oliver back in pieces! Damn!

- Talia working with Adrian always seemed odd. It’s not like he knew he was killing Talia’s father. 

- So Chase is going to help Oliver discover who he really is?

- No shirtless Oliver but I’m STILL okay.

Quick Thoughts

- Oliver’s hair is TOO SHORT, yes I’m very particular about his hair

- One of my least favourite episodes of the season

- Vigilante is nothing like Vigilante in S6 but I like neither

- Rene called Felicity Blondie again - I should have kept count of his disrespectfulness

- There are way too many people on Team Arrow right now, why did they go get Dinah?

- Poor Digg missing his son’s birthday

- I just MG had something to do with putting Evelyn in that dress - ugg

- Really feels like Felicity is being sidelined in this episode

- Oliver’s swinging to confront Vigilante super cool

- Love that Thea let Quentin know he’s like family, surprised he held onto that throwing star for A WEEK without telling Oliver...

-  Oliver questioning whether Team Arrow has done good is BEYOND STUPID and oh yeah, been done MANY TIMES

- These flashbacks with Kovar are awesome...Oliver looks hot

- I will NEVER FORGIVE them for deliberately NOT showing Felicity’s reaction to Oliver saying he was going on a date with Susan Williams - like seriously, why discuss it in front of her if you aren’t going to show it. 

- This really is a beautiful scene with Thea and Quentin - such a huge loss to the show now that they are both gone

- Oliver looks beyond miserable meeting being at the dive bar with Susan

- I love how Susan is not conflicted AT ALL - in fact she is the one pursuing the Mayor when she’s a JOURNALIST - ugg so many reasons to dislike this character

- It’s like they are trying to put ALL the bad things in one episode

- Felicity is IN THE FIELD!!

- Thea finally tells Oliver about Quentin’s throwing star

- More shirtless Diggle - LOVE IT. Trying to make up for the rest of the episode?

- Susan literally spying on Oliver and admitting it? Who wrote this crap? How are we supposed to like her in ANY WAY??

- Evelyn meeting with Prometheus...I have to admit I was suprised by this the first time I saw this episode

Quick Thoughts

- After all this time I was super annoyed that Pike thought Oliver was late because he was with a woman

- Felicity looks so adorable looking up at Oliver in the gif above

- I understand her need for a team, she really is just keeping it together. EBR is amazing in these 5a episodes, showing her pain subtly

- Shirtless Oliver in the Russia flashbacks

- I heart Anatoli in these episodes

- Thea and Lance are both in rocky shape

-  Oliver has decided killing is back on the table, I’m on the fence - I think sometimes he needs to kill

- I have to say Tobias Church - WAY more scary than Diaz - JUST LIKE EVERYONE ELSE

- I do love all the stunts and action in this premiere, including Oliver’s jump to the helicopter to take on Church followed by the Arrow parachute. 

- Felicity is not doing well and her panic is shining through. SHE IS NOT OKAY.

- Felicity is so careful not to touch Oliver

- Curtis nominates himself for recruitment...I’m not so sure - guess, what I’m right!

- Becoming Bratva looks painful

- Poor Oliver he still has hope - so do I even after the scene with Felicity and her new boyfriend. The whole Felicity bf thing would have been far more awesome had they hadn’t spoiled it at Comic Con

- Very brazen of Prometheus to kill a cop right outside the precinct

Arrow Rewatch 2018 3x14: The Return

- love seeing Oliver and Thea training together on Lian Yu.

- Oliver goes to visit an old friend, but his cell is empty. Uh oh!

- Malcolm set Slade free.

- flashbacks...I forgot Tommy was in this one. It hit me with the feels seeing him act all big brotherly to Thea. He never got the chance.

- I take issue with Slade blaming Oliver for Moira's death. It was 100% all on Slade. However, I do feel that even now going into season 7, Oliver has yet to learn that keeping secrets never ends well.

- Felicity!!!!!!

- he looks like a serial killer in that photo, Felicity. I guess love really is blind lol.

- 'I really need to learn to stop talking to myself.' No. Never change, Felicity. Your future husband loves you just the way you are. So do I.

I love the little smile that plays on his lips as his eyes are transfixed on her. I truly believe that for the 30 seconds he watches her, she reminds him of what it's like to be a normal guy. His line in 3x01 about seeing her as a person and not a threat is further established here, she's giving him a little glimpse into normality where he doesn't have to worry about bio weapons and assassins. She's just a girl who thinks he's cute. He hasn't had that in a long time.

- Diggle and Andy brotherly feels. Andy's right John; you never should've divorced Lyla.

- Thea dislocating her shoulder to open the cell door was a badass move, but also...ouch.

- 'I pulled the hoodie down to cover my face.'

'That disguise wouldn't work even if you smeared grease paint on your face.'

Well, actually it was pretty effective in Starling. They're not the most observant bunch lol.

- 'What kind of psycho would put that thing there?'

'Me.' Heehee!

- Thea finally knows the truth; she killed Sara.

- Queen siblings team up versus Slade.

- It's a hell of a burden that Robert puts on Oliver.

- 'So now you've lost your father, your mother and now your little sister. How's the girl with the glasses? What was her name? Felicity?'

First of all, Slade mentions the four people that Oliver saw before he fell off the cliff. In the exact same order. The people he loves the most.

Second of all, the look Oliver gives Slade...he just freezes and tries to hide his horror.

- 'How many people can Oliver Queen lose, before there is no more Oliver Queen?'

That is the question, Slade.

- 'How could you do this to me?' Thea asks Malcolm how he could make her kill Sara. Malcolm's response...

'Because you are my daughter and I love you.'

WTF? Regular parents don't show their love for their children by making them commit murder.

Honestly, one of the things that this rewatch has reminded me of is how badly the Arrow writers tie themselves into knots trying to justify their illogical plots. This Malcolm redemption arc is right up there with the 'civil war' in season 6 as the worst and most frustrating. Though, even after everything Malcolm has done, I'd still take him back over any of the noobies, bs or dragons.

Rating: ☆☆☆1/2 I made it through another mid season slump, hooray! Now comes the good stuff.

Arrow Rewatch 2018 3x19: Broken Arrow

- A meta is in town with laser eyes.

- Roy is arrested and Laurel gets Oliver free.

- Things are a little bit awkward between Felicity and Ray after the 'I love you' moment.

- Another all time favourite scene on this show...

'Do you remember what I told you when I found out you were the Arrow?'

'Yeah. You told me I saved your life.'

'Now I get to save yours.' And I am a puddle on the floor. This relationship has come so far. I love them. Can't wait for Roy/Oliver scenes in s7.

'The city still needs you.'

'It needs you more.' Aw.

- the police raid the foundry.

They break the Fern. Not the love fern! That has very important symbolic meaning for my ship ya'll. It thrives in low light, just like Oliver. Holy shit, guys. Broken Fern. Broken Arrow. I just got that. Seriously show?

- Felicity and John wiped everyone's prints bar Roy. The OG's aren't amateurs. They're pretty good at covering their tracks.

- Oliver and Ray team up! Oliver looks so happy about it lol. Weirdly, this is the episode I actually started liking Ray. I think his 'funnyman' shtick works better against Oliver's 'straightman'.

- there are so many parallels with Roy in prison to Oliver now in s7.

- Oliver is so done with Ray lol.

'I honestly can't think of an answer to that question that doesn't get me in trouble.'

Oliver looks to John, who just nods. She's much worse lol.

- 'There's a decent chance that you and Palmer are related.' I love sassy Oliver.

- 'When I'm out in the field, my bow, my arrows, they're just tools. I'M THE WEAPON!'

THIS!

No one, including the writers, should ever forget this. Oliver doesn't need any weapons. He IS the weapon. Underestimate him at your pearl.

Also, I love mentor Oliver. I think I've mentioned that lol.

- Go, Roy. Kick their asses while proving Oliver right. Roy doesn't need his bow in jail, he learned from the master.

- That Oliver/John scene was intense. Anytime those two yell at each other I want to hide and pray for Stephen Amell's life, because...arms.

'You have to throttle this back, Oliver. You have to before you lose everything.'

'I've already lost everything.' Did he look back at Felicity before saying that?

Diggle tags in Felicity.

- Felicity talks him down. She knows him so well. And he listens to her.

'Whether you're in a suit or under a hood, you're the man that I l...you're the man that I believe in.'

That moment where he thinks she's going to say it...She almost slips up. It's funny. She couldn't get away from Ray fast enough, but here she almost says those 3 little words without a second thought.

- the only time I am going to criticise Felicity Smoak is for her outfit choice for this errand. A tight, white skirt and heels is not appropriate field attire, Felicity. Don't be that girl. Also, for not knowing immediately that the guy wearing sunglasses indoors was the bad guy. Come on writers. This is Felicity we are talking about. Never dumb her down for plot. Never.

Sigh.

- The shadow boxing scene was really cool. Oliver looks hot. They should have him take up boxing in prison. I would be all over that.

- well done, Ray for defeating the meta. Poor Oliver having to listen to him and Felicity over the comms.

- Here it comes...Roy is stabbed in prison. I remember being in absolute shock when I watched this the first time around. Poor Oliver and Thea.

But the twist...

'This time we had to save you.' Roy Harper I love you. I'm actually crying. A team!!!!! A family!!!!

-Goodbye, Roy. You will be missed.

- 'So, on a scale of 1 to 10 how mad at us are you?'

'I need to learn to let people help me.' He listens to her.

'I just think sometimes you're so focused on people you love, you forget to see that there are people who love you.'

Would any of those people be you, Felicity? Hmm?

I love when she holds his arm and rests her chin on his shoulder. It's such a sweet and intimate gesture. They're so beautiful. Ray can see it too. Poor guy.

- Cisco! Ray takes the meta to Central City. Turns out laser eyes wasn't in Central City when the particle accelerator exploded. Interesting. Could Argus be involved?

- when Ras Al Ghul shows up at Thea's loft I got chills. I just filled with dread coz I knew what was coming. I was not expecting to be so emotional during this rewatch, but seeing Thea being thrown through a table and impaled on a sword was brutal. My poor baby.

Rating: ☆☆☆☆1/2 what a roller coaster of emotions this episode was. Arrow at its best.
