My temporary desk set up haha. I’m too lazy to move my PS4 and tv back into my room, so for now I’ll just leave it here. Setting up my Yiynova tablet on a ergonomic arm is super convenient, and saves a lot of space on my desk. Anyway I’ve very happy with this so far!

how do you draw noses so?? Perfectly?? Ive been struggling to draw a nose from a side view for like 2 days and you make it seem so easy :(

Oh it wasn’t easy LMAOO It was a steady build up over the years of just practicing. When I was younger, I used to avoid drawing side profiles, but seeing how… the way I drew them was so bad before, I forced myself to practice! And now… I love any angle where I can show off the bridge of the nose. Side profiles are so… attractive. Characters with attractive side profiles… artists who draw really good ones… god ;;; = v =) I’m too lazy to dig up super old stuff, but it was a long ass ride… LOL

I don’t even remember exactly when this was… like maybe 2007 or something LMAO

And then just a small compilation of noses from 2016-2018.

And like… idk this is how I typically draw my noses now depending on how detailed I wanna be. The middle one is my definite nose style though. If you look at the left and middle one, I like to put a lil dip to make like… the tip of the nose point out a bit more, rather than having a smooth bride– if that makes sense. If I put time aside and ACTUALLY stream my art, I could show you, but heh too busy rn lool. I just like to find inspiration from some of my favorite artists~

What's your go-to art supplies for traditional art?

LMAO my go-to art supplies are cheap af. Tbh I actually carry three different pencil cases whenever I go to school just for my art supplies I use in certain classes! But for just casual sketching, this is what I use.

So those colored pencils were less that $2 that I got from walmart. The white mechanical pencil along with the zebra pencil beside it are the ones I use THE most while drawing. Though I switch for some reason idk why– whichever feels better in my hand that day. The orangey pink pen is what I use to sketch with if I don’t want to use a pencil, I believe I bought that when I was at a Daiso one day. And then a Micron Brush pen. Then my two erasers uhhh I think I bought the black one online and my kneaded eraser is an artist’s loft brand. Oh and the blue swirl thing is a poop sharpener, aka the BEST sharpener??? IT’S SO GOOD. I forgot where I bought it. And lastly, the sketchbook I use the most is actually the one pictured here! It’s a super cheap brand too called Fabriano, but I just really love drawing on it. I actually have a ton of other art supplies, but I hardly use them ahhh.
