🎬🔊 Throwback to a Past Animation Project: Sound as the Heartbeat of the Story 🔊🎬

Years ago, I worked on an animation where the brief was to deeply integrate sound design—not just layering audio after animation, but making sound the foundation. Instead of the classic Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, I flipped it to Dr. Hyde and Mrs. Jekyll—a fresh twist that let me explore new emotional layers.

I built the entire soundscape first, crafting eerie atmospheres, subtle textures, and character-driven sounds. Then, the animation was created around that soundscape, letting every beat, every whisper, shape the visuals—the timing, the movements, the mood.

This project shifted how I approach animation—sound isn’t just an addition; it’s a powerful storytelling tool that breathes life into every frame.

Still inspired by this way of working, and excited to keep blending sound and visuals in future projects.
