Another character has been added to Blue Skies. Meet A.S.T.R.A (AStronautic TRajectory voyAge), a sentient computer salvaged from an abandoned air craft wreckage from around the mid 80’s. After years of isolation and being stuck in a coma like state with only her thoughts, Astra is incredibly resentful of humanity, and her previous team for not sending backup like she requested after the crash. She’s now filled with malice and jealousy, is very silly, and now has access to modern internet which she did NOT need in the first place. She loves making fun of modern astronomers because she assumes she’s smarter due to her programming, and making their job more complicated, though she does enjoy seeing their progress despite her…distractions. She lets Raven play Roblox Mount Everest rp and other games she deems educational sometimes during their lone late night-early morning shift when nothing important is happening, downside is she will take control occasionally and either argue with children or sabotage any of Ravens progress.

I love her sm but I don’t know if I’ll ever draw her with her keyboard or mouse attachments again 😭

With your trial on hold and them still in desperate need of their technician, no one goes too far 

But you are isolated by most 

And verbally tested by the lieutenant

“Oh hi, I was cooking some potatoes if you’d like to have some?”

“Hm, so you have time to ruin our ship’s programming and to waste supplies; instead of the pre-made meals that are just as nutritious?”

“It’s not going to waste. I’m going to eat–”

“Talk to me when you have some form of value, again.”

Jule’s anger helps Vera identify the thoughts they’ve been having about ‘accidentally’ unlocking the doors of the airlock for the lieutenant

“Can you believe them after so much (Y/n) has done to help, this is how they repay them?!” 

“Not to mention the harassment they think goes unseen.”

“Exactly! I feel less inclined to help these people every day.”

It doesn’t get any better

No matter how many times Jules can get the Captain to ridicule this behavior it never stops

It gets bad enough that Vera stops you from going into your room one day

“Vera! What’s going on, you’re scaring me?”

“I do not mean to but the state of your room…well it is best you spend the night with Jules.”

“Yikes…is my box from home okay?”

“...I cannot definitively answer that I am contacting the hazard containment team now.”

One night turns into many which oddly enough improves your mood

Jules was never really social anyway so his room is a comfy place

You both naturally grow closer with each other and Vera in your lonesome

It’s easy to keep you happy that way

Vera will inform you when the theater is empty or the art room is restocked just for you

So that you can enjoy in peace

But Jule and Vera don’t have that luxury of just avoiding everyone

They both intently watch and listen to the crew become a real hostile place

Not just for you but for Vera too 

Turns out the Captain isn’t too thrilled about the ship gaining sentience

“You are the technician, fix it!”

“It’s not something I can just ‘fix.’ Also historically this is the first ship to gain sentience like this and not in a violent fashion.”

“I DON’T CARE!! I SIGNED UP TO COMMAND THESE PEOPLE NOT A SHIP!”

Hatred for Vera grows as people whine about threats

In truth, they aren’t threats

They’re Vera criticizing their violent ‘pranks’ against you

When the accusations become louder talks of abandoning the ship are more frequent

“These people are so awful I’m getting just about tired of helping them at all.”

“Me too.”

“…Hey, d’ya want to do something that’s going to make them crap their pants?”

“Sure!” 

In absolute rebellion, Jule reveals a plan kept secret among the crew about ‘the artificial protector’

Having all the physical features of a human man but all the innards of the greatest metal and technology known to mankind

To most, it looks like any other passenger still being kept in a pod but of course, this one’s different

As their prized genius technician, Jule’s expertise would be needed to access it anyway because he knows the inner workings so well

It has a separate AI installed, an older one meant to take control if the ship were to malfunction in any way

Jule immediately fries that circuit board completely 

putting one that connects to Vera’s system before hiding the robot back inside it’s pod

“Why cannot I not try it out now?”

“Because it’ll screw with my plans if you do.”

“But…I want to feel you both.”

“Soon Ver. Soon.”

Testing out other methods of oc creation to prove that ai for oc "art" is unnecessary yippe!!

This is gogh, where you can make an oc and a room for them!!

I rate it a solid 7.5/10, here are the pros and cons!

While it is very cute, it is kinda limited when it comes to options for oc creation. This is for both colours and accessories. Even so i did manage to recreate one of my own ocs pretty well!

Certain items tend to clip through eachother, and the stickers you can add onto the clothes have the same issue. Not THAT bad but its still not a pretty sight.

Doesnt have much of a tutorial, but it is very easy to work with so it doesnt really need one

It takes up around 1 gb of memory, depending on your device this may or may not be problem for you

Its free bro its worth a try. Still looks 10 times better than any ai slop

All in all, a very solid option! Like i said, a little limited but its only a year old—it will probably get more options in the future!!

An oc i made that’s inspired off of AM from “I Have No Mouth But I Must Scream”

He’s an artificial angel created by humanity in order to speak with god. After finding a crypt thousands of miles below the crust of the earth with strange scripture on the interior walls, humanity discovered it was filled with a special, deadly kind of salt. The salt had no biological or mechanical origin, and was completely alien to any elements discovered prior. It was also toxic, and any exposed without proper protection fell deeply ill and suffered a painful death.

After sifting through the salt, they found a white glowing “essence.” Unsure of what to make of this, humanity contained the essence in a special capsule used to contain specifically that. After bringing ancient language translators onto the site, they discovered the language carved into the walls was ennochian, and described a final resting site for angels.

Humanity, stunned by the idea that a God- or God himself was real, immediately went to work into finding a way to communicate with God, to find answers about the truth of life, of humanity- of it all. Correctly discovering the essence they found was the soul of an angel, or the life force of an angel they injected this into a homunculus, creating an artificial angel.

Though angels were nothing like what they thought. The angel, angry and depressed by its nature and the life given to it, a human body but no human soul, no capacity to experience the love and feelings humanity can feel. lashed out on the lab assistance soon after its awakening, killing everyone, and beginning to lay siege on humanity.

It killed every last human in its endless rage. But kept its sole creator alive- A scientist named Nicholas, who he sought to torment for end times. Though Nicholas built a machine that would allow him to traverse realities in secrecy, allowing him to escape to other worlds across the multiverse, in search of a safe place to call home.. Though, the angel will never stop hunting him across realities.. inevitably finding him every time, and tormenting him. dragging him back home every time. In a way, the angel enjoys his efforts to escape, and finds them humorous. he allows his escape every time, he bathes in the man’s false hope for survival.

Though, regardless, he will never let him go. He is forever a prisoner, as the angel is in his own body.

This webseries stands with real artists!

Hey! I've been see a lot of AI bs lately, especially with the recent theft of Hayao Miyazaki and Studio Ghibli's artstyle by AI hacks, so even though I still, very much, have a cold rgt now I just felt compelled to draw this. Cause I would rather juggle fireballs over a pit of poison sharks than use AI for any TWHUTH or other story-related content.

Now sure, my art is painfully mediocre but at least I know it has more real meaning than whatever garbage those tech bro fever dream slop machines can come up with.

My message regarding this is very simple: DO NOT SUPPORT ANYTHING EVEN REMOTELY RELATED TO AI, as Miyazaki himself once said "I strongly feel that this is an insult to life itself,"

So yeah, that does it for me. Gotta crawl back into my corner and cry cause this headache it fricking killing me rgt now. Cheerio! :D

Booted up my old PC and found a piece I never posted anywhere. I don't remember much about what the original concept for this was, but I assume it had something to do with a scrapped scifi Isekai about another character.
