hasbro can suck my nuts. I wouldn't give them another dime, even if I had one to spare.

I do not think larian is making ANY money off all this merch.#and like. let's put down the larian criticism for two seconds here.#because while it's completely valid and I and I agree with A LOT of it-#-the fact of the matter is that it was THEIR work that made bg3 as popular as it is.#and now hasbro. who laid off a TON of people from wotc. including a bunch of mtg artists.#artists whose previous work hasbro has been using to train generative AI without any compensation to these artists.#can milk bg3 for all it's fucking worth to save themselves from the unbelievably pathetic financial situation they put themselves in.#and I'm sure larian is fine. I'm sure they do not need to worry about money at all. but that doesn't make this any less unfair.#also to be clear: I never thought anything positive of hasbro. this isn't like me being like “woah corporation EVIL?!?!”#I've known they are practically my whole life.#they cancelled my favourite transformers cartoon just to focus on raking in profit from a series of shitty live action bay movies.#the second. (or third) of which received funding from the pentagon. for reasons I feel are abundantly clear.#whereas TFA was critical of both the US military & police and of war and dictatorship.#so hasbro can fucking suck my nuts twice over actually.
