I have hit a double slump. I have no idea what video game I want to play after finishing up Banishers. And now I also don’t know what crochet project I want to start once I finish my current one. It’s been awhile since I’ve been in a slump but the adhd is adhding.

When Ashes was Hades, they definitely kept a subsect of the Acheron lit right behind them in the room where people were begging for help. So the only way to avoid looking at a bunch of brains is to either look directly at them or look at the floor.

Ulysses looked straight into their eyes (as best as they could because smoke was probably all around) because they were used to speaking to higher up military officials.

Heracles looked at the brains because he always had a soft spot for carnage.

Orpheus looked between Hades and Persephone before closing his eyes to sing.

i put all of the lsers into a randomizer wheel and paired them off. in my mind its kind of just a one off event that takes place during s6, its like its own little arc that goes for at least two weeks, possibly a bit longer tho!!! and i have removed certain players simply bc i cannot realistically imagine them logging in even for day 1 of the event LMFAO.

ls mechanics are the same— you kill you (and ur soulmate) gain a heart, you die and you (and ur soulmate) lose a heart. ADDITIONALLY, i heavily fw the idea that if ur soulmate is banned, you Also get banned ^-^ even if ur on 20, your hearts simply drop on the ground after u die if ur banned bc it makes things ✨️interesting✨️ tho thats all i have so if anyone has any other ideas or disagrees w me then pls feel free to tell me all abt it bc im just saying shit LOL

and. dear fucking LORD do we have some crazy match ups oh my god?? 😭😭 the balancing is fucking insane bc to me hearts are NOT given or taken away for any sort of balancing purposes, they have what they had before the event started yk? so soulmates taking care of each other and communicating is even MORE important than anything

and like theoretically people are still in the teams they had before the event, theres technically no rules saying u Need to dedicate urself to your soulmate but considering the type of server ls is, keeping ur soulmate close to u is very likely life or death. like esp for a pair like say...planet and minute bc anyone who has a bone to pick w minute could so easily farm a planetlord over it nd ban them both from the server so being able to protect ur soulmate is just as important as staying safe yourself yk?

its crazy bc u have teams that are definitely just fucking cooked like planet & minute (current 7 heart chungus) or like pangi & jepexx, but u also have teams that are hella fucking cracked in Theory like mapicc & subz bc theyre both cracked at pvp but i actually just dont know how well theyd work as a pair or if theyd EVEN work together or if theyd just do their own thing and expect the other to not die LMFAO.

like, its just so interesting to think abt soulmate dynamics and how this event would affect each preexisting teams. how loyal people would feel towards their soulmates & whether this would change things after the event in regards to Team loyalty and who would grow attached to their soulmates after the fact......or who would hate their soulmates, and who would become enemies bc of this event LOL

I agree wholeheartedly! I think it can tell so much more of a story and convey so much more heart and care when it's clear that it's been written and rewritten and gotten messy a couple times but that's ok.

I also love when recipes are passed down like that and they can be added to by multiple people. I have a lot of my mums old baking recipes that we used to make a lot when I was a kid and I love them dearly. They're messy and crumpled and covered in mildly concerning stains but they have so much more heart than boring clean ones.

Also I have some recipes that my granny used to cut out of newspapers and then write her own little changes onto that are old and barely legible but they mean more.

I like my little folder of loose pages of scribbled recipes because its not neat or orderly but each recipe has been so clearly loved and tweaked and edited to get to where they are today.

Also cause I just remembered another example I know of, my best friends mum has a wall of cookbooks that look shiny and new and boring from the outside but half of them you can barely open on the most used recipes cause they've been stuck shut from spills over the years and there's little notes on some of the recipes where shes changed things and added her own ingredients and I just think that's neat.

I'm so sorry for rambling under your post but I agree with you so much!! I need to get back into baking again once I get finished with exams I miss it

idk if this is just me but I feel like recipes are not meant to be nice and neat in a pretty little recipe card but are actually meant to be written messily in journals with little additions in the margins and stains on the pages and ingredient lists and instructions that are so obviously erased and rewritten a thousand times with old faded handwriting

But idk that might just be me and my unabashed love for cooking and recipes and making dishes for people and sharing food idk

More stuff related to my conspiracy theorist idea: How difficult I think it would be to find images of the Mechs in universe (if they aren't holding a show near you) and how Morrigan (The conspiracy theorist. {Thanks for the name @purelunaris!}) managed it.

It's fairly easy to find images of Johnny, if you look through most police records. He leaves most cameras that catch photos of him intact and is incredibly proud of all his mugshots and wanted posters. No matter the time or place, he's the easiest to find.

Marius had a brief period of time where he got really into publishing shitty self-help books, and he put different pictures of him acting out the 'advice' in the book. All the photos look like weird stock photos and are of him doing things like sitting on a pile of hundreds of violins or burning down another psychiatrists office. The books are still mass produced for some reason.

Raphaella shows up in various science textbooks, mostly under aliases. Many professionals photos and sketches are very easy to find copies of. Though you do have to buy several textbooks about the full history of magnets just to cut out a small black-and-white picture of her.

The Toy Soldier is famous and infamous across many planets militaries, so many depictions of it show up all across history. The problem is that most of the time, it tries to blend as a regular human soldier, so depending on a galaxies milliary history, it could be near impossible to find good quality proof of it. But when there's a will there's a way and where theirs a need for old books, there's a second-hand book store.

Brian has many art pieces of him made by followers over the years, many of them preserved as the religions grew even after he left. A few of the branches hand out little pamphlets with pictures of him in a stain glass window style! You do have to listen to a religious rant, though...

Ashes made sure the only photos available of them weren't actually photos, but instead highly expensive oil paintings. So most of the time, the only way to actually own a photo of them is to shell out a ridiculous amount of money to buy a centuries old painting... or you could quickly copy down a recreation of the painting onto line paper while visiting a museum.

Only a few photos are available of Gunpowder Tim because while many have been taken, the cameras usually don't survive long enough afterward, usually being found blown to smithereens. Thankfully, there are a few portraits of him that Ashes had commissioned of them as Persephone and other roles. Those were also copied down onto notebook paper.

Photos of Nastya are incredibly rare, but an old portrait of some old princess named Anastasia fits her description well enough to earn a spot on the conspiracy board, so on it goes!

Photos of Ivy are even harder to find, leading to Morri knowing next to nothing about her, leading to them somehow coming to the conclusion that she has to be some evil mastermind.

I know it's probably a baby changing sign but it's infinitely funnier to me if it's just chucking the baby cause the implications of needing a sign for that are hilarious.
