These are valid questions. Nothing here would be considered healthy or romantic. So what do you get out of it then, if TK is real? Wanting to see them date cause they're hot? Popular? or cause you're scared to see your bias with someone else so you say its cosplayers & use JK to feel better? All while JIkook are living their best lives without a care in the world about your negativity or your tears. This fandom needs a real reality check.

You know what’s funny, anon? Taekookers are losing their minds over Jungkook traveling with Jimin to multiple countries right after his military discharge even though, on the day Jungkook was discharged ,Tae was off hanging out with his Wooga friends. You never see them upset at Tae for not being there with Jungkook, even though you��d think that’s when a boyfriend would be expected to show up. But God forbid Jungkook decides to spend time traveling with someone he’s just spent 18 months with in the military.

The reason Taekookers are so quick to strip Jungkook of his autonomy and paint him as some kind of puppet is because deep down, they know that if Taekook were truly in a relationship, then it’s clearly not an ideal one. So to cope, they convince themselves that everything Jungkook does for, to, or with Jimin is either forced or tied to some contractual obligation. That way, Jungkook isn’t a “bad boyfriend” he’s just doing what he has to do. He’s not choosing to be with Jimin, he’s simply following orders.

They’ll say anything to avoid admitting that Jungkook does these things with Jimin because he wants to. But of course, it wouldn’t make sense to them that Jungkook would rather travel the world with Jimin than spend quality time with a “boyfriend” he barely saw for 18 months so instead, they twist the narrative to fit their fantasy.

Truth is, they want Taekook to be in a romantic relationship so badly that they’ll accept any theory no matter how far-fetched as long as it protects that illusion.

I was off X/Twt for a long time because I switched over to bsky and have generally found it to be a much more positive, small space (like I actually have regular, positive interactions with mutuals rather than just shouting into the void and observing dumpster fires, imagine)

I just say that to show how wild perspective can be because she truly saw alllll the jikook antics and chalked it up to friendship and saw 3 moments of taekook coexisting platonically and saw it as a grand romance.

And same for me! Like I ship/support/whatever you want to call it jikook, so that’s the lens through which I viewed AYS and the enlistment and the discharge live and all of it. And sure there are so many people who think I’m crazy for being a real person shipper but at least I’m not denying multiple levels of reality to do so?? And I have a healthy sense of self-doubt?? 2) vminkook will handle their own business.

JK has said it before that things were awkward between him and Tae. Clearly something they worked on. They had a whole talk on ITS and then we saw them together out at plenty of places this year.

The whole fandom noticed space between vmin and "THEY KNOW EACH OTHER" and "DIVORCE" trended the day JM went to support Tae at music bank. Mind you, that was when JM also received an album from Tae.

Jikook having space or not is not actually known. They went on a whole weekend trip together IN THE MIDDLE OF JK PROMOTING SEVEN. Again. I mean they did it AGAIN in another country. JK has been cajoling JM to come and keep him company at various locations: boxing, his home, JM's home. Is this because they have space or because he misses JM when there's even the littlest bit of space between them?

And now we have jikook interacting during JM's documentary premiere. JK clearly went to the area knowing JM was there filming. He said his piece and left. Smoothly. JM lifted his shirt briefly for JK to speak into the mic, only to move his hand, which then dropped the mic and JK kept leaning down anyway. Then when JM asked about his weight he leaned closer so JM could honk the tittie. 🗣️ HONK THE TITTIE!

No matter what happens, taekookers will twist whatever is said or done (or not said or not done). They don't use logic. They use logical fallacies.

Their definition of logic begins and ends with "taekook are fucking" and everything else has to match otherwise their worldview, their brains, their friendships all collapse catastrophically.

JK can shake off Tae's hand and they'll attack JK. JK can pick up JM and JM will wrap his legs around his waist and they'll say the company made them do it. Tae can be photographed and videotaped dating Jennie in France and Jeju and Tae can vacation with Hobi's family in Hawaii and they'll still insist that Atomix was a private taekook date made months in advance and they shut down the whole restaurant.

Would I have publicly confirmed my dating rumor after gummybooboo blackmailed me and my partner? IDK, it wasn't me in that position. Would I have confirmed after naked pics of my partner dropped? IDK, it wasn't me in that position. Would I have confirmed after my friends and other innocents got dragged into the privacy drop? IDK, because I've never been placed in that position. So am I in a position of judging what anyone else would or wouldn't do? Not really.

Would I drop all my privacy to fans that wanted to know how long my dick was even? IDK I DON'T HAVE FANS! Or a dick, but that's merely an incidental detail. 👍

And here's me trying my hand at having empathy: our maknae line seems particularly sensitive to disruptions in the fan/idol interaction pipeline.

We've had them admit to having dark thoughts during the time they couldn't perform in front of us.

Tae may be even more susceptible to fears of fans leaving if he's displacing his fears of Jennie leaving while he's in the military. (I'd have to eat crow again if I attempted to speak on this point.)

Tae and JM and JK love us an insane amount, to the point of getting on welive at home at freaking UNGODLY HOURS just to talk to us or assure themselves that we're still here waiting for them. They NEED us in ways I cannot fathom and sometimes in ways that bring me fear for them.

So in thinking in this way, I do not believe I am in the right position to make judgements on their actions concerning how they treat each other or react to strangers on the internet.

I am human and admit that certain things would have had me reacting differently and I wish they did have the power to make all this nonsensical hate disappear from our fandom spaces.

My complicated thoughts about KTH

I’ve said before that I love all the members of BTS, and I do. I also put in my about me that if I had to rank the members in order of my favorites, I could. And it would be according to who I gravitate to the most both musically and personality wise. Taehyung has always puzzled me. He’s eccentric, a free spirit, and not someone that I would probably get along well with in my personal life. But he’s entertaining and clearly a beloved member of BTS by the members themselves, so I enjoy watching his interactions with them on stage and in content such as Run BTS.

In Chapter 2 though… I don’t know how to feel. I try to see nuance in just about everything especially when it’s something I have extremely limited facts that I can verify. I am hesitant to label him as some sort of villain attention seeker, but his behavior is puzzling to me to say the least. What I don’t believe in my heart of hearts is that Taehyung would ever do something to purposefully hurt one of his members in a majorly public way. I don’t think he is to blame for the derangement actions of Taekookers. But, he also doesn’t help either. His willingness to name drop JK constantly for no reason in interviews or in two minute lives is super strange. Don’t be active at all on Weverse then? I struggle to find a motive behind it. For the most part, I don’t think his actions bother Jikook because if they did, I’m sure he would stop. I do think it bothers Jungkook to some extent in the fact that he always has to do damage control against the embellishments that Taehyung tells. I don’t think Taehyung is bothered by the constant influx of Taekook comments when he’s live, but I think Jungkook is bothered sometimes, hence his willingness to set the record straight and bring up Jimin because that is who is on his mind and who he gravitates towards not Tae.

Taehyung used to be the “get out of your imagination” guy. And no matter how Tkks try to spin that, the man meant what he said back then. I don’t know exactly when the transition started, but it seems to be in this Chapter 2 soft launch of his equally famous girlfriend that didn’t go over super well with either fandom. My guess is that wasn’t the reaction he was expecting and now he’s backtracking to appease his “fanbase.” He’s probably a bit bitter over it too. I wish he cared less about Tkks and his solo stans, and I’m hopeful that he will forget about their nonsense once the 7 members are back together. If I was Jennie, I wouldn’t be thrilled by his actions. I would understand the hesitancy of going full public with the relationship, but only bringing up one member (the one you are shipped with the most) every time you decide to go live to see fans for two seconds or have an interview about your album is weird to me.

But again, I’m trying not to read too much into it or project my own feelings towards it too much. I’m sure if it bothers Jikook, things will be worked out behind the scenes. Time will tell if this behavior continues, and if one day it stops, I would have a good guess as to why.

Proving that Taennie is real has nothing to do with Jikook and everything to do with Tkkrs and their hate for Jimin.

Tkkrs are the worst part of this fandom and everyone wants them gone, not just Jikookers. But the hate never extends (or at least shouldn't) to Taekook themselves. Ah, you hold your own fandom in such high regard. A quick search in social media will soon show you that Jikookers are not void of hate. They hate on Tae, they hate on Yoongi, they even hate on Jimin for not being more clear about his ‘relationship’ with Jk. You’ve not seen all the asks in my inbox, but most Jikookers that contact me have no respect for Tae at all. Calling him a leach, an attention wh*re, untalented, a homophobe, a queerbaiter… and probably many other things, but I usually delete quickly. There are Jikook accounts that do not even want to discuss Yoongi, because they feel he took advantage of Jimin and took away his place in the spotlight. Jikookers hate.. and they hate a lot.

Your reasoning is quite faulty, getting rid of Taekookers will not eliminate the problem.. because Taekookers are not what created the ship. Tae and Jk are the cause of the ship. The way they interact is the cause of the ship. And even if there were no Taekookers around, their relationship will still be there. I could even argue that the disappearance of Jikookers would also solve the problem.

I hate that Jimin gets hate for this situation. I hate that anyone gets hate from fandom. I do not control (or speak for) all Taekookers though. So you can scream in my inbox using all sorts of terms you encountered online all you want, but I am unable to fix things. I feel Jikookers and Taekookers alike are to blame for this and both parts of fandom should look to the members themselves as an example of how to deal with each other.

Report and encourage Army to report Jk, Tae and Taekooker’s fanbases and Taekookers. These people have many accounts and they don’t hide it. Even some of their admins (not all are same) already openly admit many times in their blogs that they have OT7, their ship‘s accts and cosplayers accts and encourage their followers to do so.

Sabotage Jk and Tae upcoming solo albums and Damage their image. They started shitting on Tae with another girl idol and their achievements unprovoked (‼️FOCUS ON YOUR FAV). Their goal was to push big Tae and JK’s FBs to post about it and so they could screenshot it and use their OT7 accts to encourage others OT7 to report them. Their exit door was the victimization as always. Since those fbs didn’t give them want they wanted, they push it far and started posting some nasty allegations (everything for them is sex related even their own ship 🤯) about Tae and his cousins ❌(Tae posted in the past some videos playing with his cousins and even wanted to manage one of them). That is when things escalated and they deleted but kths and Taekookers started to clap back (what wasn’t the right thing to do cause what every party did was nasty and no one deserve this). Their next step they used their jk’s accts (cosplayers) to shit on Tae too and kths were clapping back and that’s how jk solo join all this shit. Why? They don’t want jks and kths to work together for their favs upcoming albums. It’s crazy cause we don’t even have any confirmation of those album’s release. When they saw many people clapping back, they started the victimization and the people behind this were focus to ask to report Jk, Tae and Taekooker fbs while those who joined innocently to defend their fav asked to report accts which were involved in the fight. They even openly offered to paid some people to help them trend nasty things about Tae and Jk. As we all know they hurried to write false narratives about what really happened and circulated it on every platform. It‘s disgusting to see how they’re proud of what was said cause it was to defend their real fav (yes, they only care about one person in their ship, the other one is only important for their delusional sex narratives and the punching bag for their frustrations). No, it’s not. Every nasty thing said that day was wrong no matter the reason. No one deserve this and hope people see how far they’re going before it’s too late. They’re starting to shit on Tae again today with their OT7 accts cause he is on the way of their ship 🤯🤢. They’re mad cause they didn’t have what they expected from their ship from D-Day‘s concert and they through their frustrations and insecurities on Tae and jk. They made some edited photos of Tae with the same idol girl and are circulating it in their OT7 accts, use their other OT7 accts to kekekeke about it. They are trying to normalize openly mocking and harassing Tae in the fandom and are setting Tae up for hate with the idol girl’s fandom. They also want to shift the focus from what is happening to Kodak black (don’t worry, we don’t care, we are not like you and there is no reason for you to panic about that in the first place). Their exit door this time, they planned to claim jokes if it doesn‘t go well. But no one is calling them out, everyone is acting blind while we’re reporting them and Stay focus on streaming and voting.

Shrek never thought he would encounter a stench stronger than his own until he went to San Diego Comic Con, but the humid mass of bodies before him proved him wrong. Donkey and Shrek stood aimlessly, flabbergasted by the waves of humanity and also Deadpool cosplayers before them. Their adopted son, King Artie Pendragon-whatever Shrek’s last name is-whatever Donkey’s last name is, was overflowing with excitement. (A/N: If you don’t know who he is get da hell out of here and watch Shrek the Third!) He bounced up and down on the balls of his feet, looking between each booth on artist alley. 

    “Sae whit urr ye keekin fur?” Shrek asked.

    “Umm,” Artie said shyly.

    “Ah thought ye git ower yer fear o' public speaking back whin?”

    “I don’t really want to talk about it, I’m just gonna go-”

    “Aye haud yer horses, kid, whaur urr ye aff tae?” Shrek asked, grabbing the back of Artie’s graphic Legend of Zelda t-shirt and stopping him in his tracks.

    “Just um, to get um, well-”

    “Oot wi' it!”

    “I’m going to whichever artist has the best yaoi, okay? Since you want to know so badly!” Artie yelled, hunching over and shoving his hands in his cargo shorts petulantly.

    “Yow-whit?”

    “Now, Shrek,” Donkey tsk-tsked carefully as the woman of the gay couple. “He obviously doesn’t want to talk about it and we should respect that he’s a growing boy with his own money and privacy, babe.”

    “Ah juist wantae ken whit it's? Is that sae ill?” Shrek asked, shaking Artie like a bag of coins.

    Donkey stomped on Shrek’s foot, who quickly let go of Artie to clutch at his foot. “Thanks Dadkey!” Artie shouted as he disappeared into the crowd.

    “Stop pressuring our boy, remember, we’re here for him, not for us, you want to make the decisions you should have driven us to OgreCon. Besides, you already know what yaoi is, Shrek.”

    “Ah dae?”

    “We’re yaoi,” Donkey said.

    “Och, ah guess ah dae,” Shrek said, winking seductively at Donkey. Donkey made a flushy face, as much as he could through all the fur.

    Donkey and Shrek gazed into each other’s eyes in the middle of the aisle, blocking gamers and anime fans from obtaining their prized and overpriced merchandise. Donkey bit his lower lip as he looked at Shrek’s long, luscious lashes. Angry Marvel cosplayers shoved their way past Shrek and Donkey, some admiring the quality of Shrek’s Shrek cosplay as they didn’t come away with any green paint streaks. Thank God, some people can seal their paint, they thought. Nothing could break the romantic tension between Shrek and Donkey as they were two seconds away from a full blown make out sesh on the grimy convention floor. They reached for each other slowly, almost fingertip to hooftip when they heard the only thing that could break the hold they had over each other, a shout from Fiona.

“What do you mean, HonkIfYouLoveBaDonkADonk isn’t tabling here?!” Fiona shouted at a hapless convention staff volunteer. 

“We should get out of here,” Donkey and Shrek said in unison, one less Scottishly than the other. “Huh? What’s your reason? You first!” they continued simultaneously. 

“Well…” Donkey started.

“Well whit?”

“Well I may or may not be HonkIfYouLoveBaDonkADonk on Twitter, Tumblr, and DeviantArt and I may or may not specialize in yaoi rarepairs which, funnily enough, makes me really popular with the ladies, if you know what I mean-”

“DONKEY!!” Shrek roared, drawing the attention of every congoer in the vicinity and a few of the respectable people on the street outside.  Fiona whipped around looking for the source of the voice of her one true love and ex-husband. Shrek gulped anxiously, realizing what he had just done.

“We should get out of here,” Donkey said. Shrek nodded. Artie would be fine enough on his own, even if he was lost in the yaoi trenches of artist alley, never to be seen again. Abandoning their kid(s), ex-wives, and the gnat-like swarms of nerds, Donkey and Shrek absconded to the Cheesecake factory outside the convention center. 

They got a booth relatively quickly, which for the Cheesecake Factory, was still a two hour wait. By that time twilight settled over the city like a weighted blanket, but a hot and sweaty weighted blanket because of the humidity. It was the peak hour for romance and Cheesecake Factory’s SkinnyLicious® Specialties. Knowing this, Shrek shifted his bulk anxiously on the cracked red leather of the booth. Straight couples (A/N: ew) in the booths and tables surrounding them gazed into each other’s eyes over slices of cheesecake. Donkey would have expectations with this atmosphere, he was very high maintenance, after all. Today would be the day, if Shrek could pull it off. 

The waiter, tired of cosplayers, came over and brusquely took their orders before they had time to make small talk about how unfair it was that Firefly was canceled before Joss Wheadon. Shrek waited anxiously for their orders to come, suddenly shy in front of his partner of 21 years with the waiter gone. Donkey started tapping his hoof on the table expectantly.

Shrek cleared his throat Scottishly. “Sae how dae ye lik' th'...th’...” Shrek couldn’t think of anything to talk about. Gazing at Donkey took his breath away, his partner’s beauty overwhelming him like it always did. Donkey raised his eyebrows, unsure what to make of Shrek’s stammering. “Sae how dae ye lik',” Shrek started again, “daein' th' yaoi?”

“The yaoi? Oh, I love it! And the girlies on Tumblr do too, you should see how many notes I get. I really got started in the Rise of the Brave Tangled Dragons fandom, Jack Frost x readers were my bread and butter until the Onceler came along. Now there was a man! Of course, you’re the only big green meanie for me, but you can’t deny how hot the Onceler is…”

Shrek listened intently to Donkey’s ramblings, despite not knowing what half of the words he was saying were. But here he was, all this time later, still learning new faucets of his partner. Donkey was endlessly fascinating, and in turn endlessly irresistible.

It felt like no time had passed at all when their waiter brought their multiple orders of sweet corn tamale cakes, warm crab and artichoke dip, fried mac and cheese balls, and Buffalo Blasts®. Ordinarily, things like this would be far too appetizing for Shrek as they weren’t worms and eyeballs, but this was the Cheesecake Factory. The kitchen might as well have been Shrek’s swamp, it had all the same conditions including the Smash Mouth soundtrack. 

Their food delivered, they dug in. The food was good or something. I don't care, we all know that’s not what you’re here for. Shrek, even as consumed as he was with gay panic over how beautiful his partner was or whatever baby gays whose only real experience with the community is through fanfic think gay panic means, was greatful for the break in Donkey’s ramblings. A man can only take so much yaoi.   

When they were done with their appetizers, Donkey excused himself coquettishly to the bathroom. As he did not have hands, he tended to end up smashing his face into food and having to clean up after every course. Shrek was used to this by now. But as he waved Donkey off, he had an idea.

Shrek flagged down their waiter. He asked the waiter to come closer – No, closer than that… Well, now that’s a little too close but it works – so he could whisper instructions in their gender neutral ear. As they listened, the waiter grew more and more despondent. Not only had they had to participate in more than fifteen birthdays for anime characters today, but now they would have to play part in a wedding proposal. They nodded at Shrek, a pained smile on their face that said “Yeah, I can do that but you better fucking tip well.” With that hope the only thing keeping the waiter afloat to the end of their shift, they went to the kitchen to make arrangements with the chefs just as Donkey returned to the table. 

“So what’s next for dinner?” Donkey asked.

“Och ah awready ordered fur ye, babygirl,” Shrek answered, “Ye kin juist keeping gaun oan aboot yer yaoi wi' na worries.”

So Donkey continued rambling on about Johnlock conspiracies and Onclercest and Omegaverse and his favorite doujinshis and a thousand other things Shrek had never heard of and hoped never to hear of again. But he listened anyway because he was a supportive partner. And hopefully soon, a supportive husband.

The main course arrived soon enough and Shrek was spared hearing about the distinct differences between enemies to friends to lovers and friends to enemies to lovers. Their waiter set down their entrees, a single specially made corn dog on a plate for each of them. But Donkey’s corn dog had a conspicuous ring slipped on it as if it were a finger. Donkey failed to notice it and flung his face towards the plate to munch on that flakey cornmeal.

“Wait, Donkey!” Shrek cried.

Donkey stopped. “What’s up?”

“Dinnae ye notice anythin' special?”

“I noticed someone dropped their jewelry in the batter but I don’t see how that’s any of my business, besides having more iron in my diet.”

    “Dae ye really think that's whit happened?” Shrek asked, on the verge of tears. How could their special moment start off like this?

    “Shrek, what’s this really about? Is there something you’re not telling me? Are you stressed? Sick? I bet it was those tamales, they tasted a little off to me, hold on let me go get the manager-”

    “Donkey!”

    “What is it, Shrek?”

    “I’m not sick, let me huv a go at this again.Donkey, as ye ken, ogres hae layers lik' onions do,” Shrek explained. Donkey nodded, he remembered their first real conversation well. “And I’d lik' tae add ye as a layer tae mah onion.” 

    “Shrek… do you really mean that?” Donkey cried.

    “O' coorse, mah sweet!” Shrek pried the ring off the corn dog, smashing it to pieces. He held it up in front of Donkey’s face. “Wid ye mak' me th' happiest ogre in th' world?”

    “Oh Shrek! Yes! Yes!” Donkey shrieked. He jumped over the table and into Shreks beefy green arms. Unsure exactly of what they were seeing, but still understanding it was a proposal, the other customers clapped politely if bewilderedly. 

    “Lets go tell th' guid news tae Artie,” Shrek said blissfully. Donkey nodded.

    The two of them walked out the restaurant, Shrek bridal carrying Donkey through the revolving doors. They forgot to pay, not that anyone would have remembered after that yaoitastic display. Their waiter remained untipped.

    Shrek walked triumphantly into the convention center and kicked in the door to the room hosting the “Fudanshi x Fujoshi: Finding the Perfect Boy who Loves Yaoi Almost as much as You do!” panel slash speed dating event. 

    “Oi! Artie! Guess who’s getting married!” Shrek bellowed. Everyone in the room hushed. Artie wanted to die and pretended not to hear. Shrek cleared his throat and shouted again, “Oi! Artie! Guess who’s getting GAY married!”

Hello i am new to fandom and while trying to catch up on content I found out about shipping and also found out that Taekook and Jikook are the biggest ships in BTS but didn't Taehyung have a girlfriend? I asked someone about it and was told that it was media play set up by the company to promote Jennie's new show. i sent an ask to a taekook blog about it but their answers made no sense to me so I wanted to get things from another perspective. Do you think it was media play?

Taenni being media play or a PR relationship is one of the dumbest arguments I have ever heard from the cult and trust me, i’ve heard many.

One thing you need to know about taekookers is that they are gifted at blaming third parties when Tae or Jungkook do anything that debunks that nonexistent romance they are willing to kill for. Tae and Jk say they grew distant/awkward, the cult blames the company. Tae is seen on a romantic walk with his girlfriend in Paris, the company gets blamed. Jk says he doesn’t see Tae on his birthdays the company gets blamed. They have created a win-win situation for themselves where anytime taekook do or say anything that doesn’t go in line with what they want to believe they blame the company or Jimin but when taekook do or say something they like they carry on as if they didn’t juat claim that the company was trying to shove Jikook down people’s necks while trying to hide taekook.

Any taekooker who continues claiming that taennie was mediaplay or a PR relationship just doesn’t want to accept the truth. Listen, I would have understood where these people were coming from if we had never heard or seen anything about tae and Jennie yet jusy got hit with them strolling together in Paris but since 2021, we’ve been getting little bits of information about them.

It started with Tae “accidentally” following Jennie on Instagram. Then we got leaked intimate photos of them and while I do agree that some of those pictures might have been photoshopped, not all were. Those pictures of them in Jeju were real af unless someone wants to explain to me what magic Gurumi had to put Tae in a pair of pants we had never seen him in before and only saw him in months after those pics leaked? Or the scar on his leg, Jennie’s clothing or, or the fact that none of them ever denied those photos? Didn’t YG put out a statement threatening to sue gurumi for invasion of privacy which indirectly meant that the pictures were real? If those photos were photoshopped then why would they be trying to sue the hacker for invading Jennie’s privacy? Also why was Taehyung quiet? Tkkrs claim that Tae is a no nonsense kind of person and someone who likes to sue so how come he sat quiet about it?

The walk in Paris is the one that annoys me the most because Taekookers have done everything in their power to spin things around. Before Jennie posted those pics on her instagram which proved that it was her in Paris, tkkrs claimed they were cosplayers. After that, they claimed it was media play but I am yet to see anyone tell me what those two benefitted from the media play. All they both got was an insane amount of hate, especially Jennie plus kpop entertainment isn’t Hollywood. It isn’t kpop’s idols style to fake romantic relationships to drum up publicity because kpop idols habe always built parasocial relationships with their fans.

These companies are very aware that most of these fans imagine themselves with these idols and that is what keeps them fans of the idols. They are also very aware of ships in kpop and guess what the biggest ship in kpop is, TAEKOOK. Jenlisa is also the biggest ship in Blackpink so which companies are dumb enough to piss off these many people in the name of some publicity? This would be a very stupid thing to do and if they really wanted to so media play to gain the media’s attention why didn’t they use a bigger or more famous paparazzi? Why was it some unknown, local paparazzi from Paris who didn’t even capture the footage with his camera but instead gave us some microwave quality footage?

How do they explain the fact that tae’s and Jennie’s friends run in the same circles? There’s just so much that proves that taennie was/is a real relationship but trust taekookers to always find a way to make themselves more delusional.

Some of them are convinced that Tae couldn’t be dating Jennie because he didn’t defend her when his fans were hating on her so I wonder how they would look at him when we eventually get more decisive proof that he did date her? Besides, even if it was actually media play no one put a gun to his head and forced him to walk around holding hands with Jennie did they? He did it voluntarily and it would have been an agreement they both had so what kind of a person does that make him if he still sat down and let his fans tear that girl to shreds knowing that they had an agreement and both agreed to do it? They really don’t see how terrible their narratives make Tae look.

One thing that I came to realize is that many of them know the truth. Deep down when they really think about it they know the truth but they want taekook to be real so bad that they fight what they know and continue to believe in the voices in their heads. Some of them are just here to fight with Jikookers so when they feel like they have enough points against the rival ship, they come back from their hiding places to fight and prove how real taekook is. I noticed that many taekookers on here went dormant and some even deleted their accounts around when Jimin and Jungkook enlisted together but when Tae posted those pics of himself and Jk in hawaii, they came back like they never left because they now had some material to fight jkkrs with. If something huge happens again in jikookers’ favor, they would disappear again and reappear again when they feel like they have enough amo. It’s just a useless cycle.

Anyways anon, this shipping thing is like an escape for some people. An escape from reality or the real world and it’s issues and some people who are normally very reasonable get sucked into it so much that they lose any sense of logic. Some people become so emotionally invested to the idea of two strangers having this perfect love story that they cannot bear to part with that belief so they choose to challenge and question the bitter reality instead of the sweet fantasy. I feel like that is where so many taekookers are at (some jikookers too)

Someone once told me that anyone who gets into shipping so much that they find themselves fighting against the truth and reality, only do that because there is some void in them that shipping fills and they cannot bear to part with the fantasy/lie because they don’t want to go feeling empty again and I couldn’t agree more.

I'm very skepticle about how this GH person could get hands on those photos if they are real. And how could they be real if they all look that weird? Wouldn't the companies press charges if there were real breaches? They sue people for less.

But take a look at this post. It's by a ta*nnie but well it seems like she really does have things in the photo: slippers, bracelet, skirt, that hat that he wore. He also has those slippers and well the scar (it's still there 2 months later when he was in Paris)

So could GH really edit all those bits together? Bc if they couldn't then there has to be a very good cosplayer to literally wear all the things she has to take these pics.

But again, if the pictures are real and they are really dating, why would they go to the most touristy spots in Jeju and no one recognized them? How? Tae when to Hawaii and people spotted him there. They are the most famous persons in SK rn, there faces are all over the places, how could people not recognized them? Did they really took a normal flight? 2 billionaires in a secret relationship that they have to hide from the public?

And about the cats series, it seems to be the same cat bc I would assume that it's not easy to fake a bicolor cat bc of the fur color distribution. However, why would J's mother has a cat and let that same cat rolling on J's bed while she's allergic?

I don't think it's media play bc I feel like GH is definitely doing this for attention now, whether they actually have any real infos or not. YG could take advantage of this for BP comeback. Hybe's motive is unclear to me.

So idk things just don't line up. If they are real and it's a new thing since May then why the heck were Taekook still lovey dovey in June in that Bangtan Bomb we just saw?

Hey!  So I just wrote up an answer to another ask which pretty much covers my own personal theory of what’s going on here.

I think all of your questions are perfectly good ones.  I agree that all of these details simply do not seem to line up.  Not to repeat myself too much, but like I said earlier, I think there are far more reasons to be skeptical than there are to believe in all of this.

As for the identifying details in the photos that make them seem more likely to actually be Tae and Jennie, the truth is that yes, it’s entirely possible for those things to be edited in, and it’s also possible for people to just have the same items.  There’s no reason it has to be all one or the other either.  Some could be real items photographed, while others could be added in after the fact.

I’ll say it again, but of course there’s always the chance that Tae and Jennie could be dating (or friends), but I don’t think these photos are legitimate.  I think the more photos come out, the more obvious it is that whoever is behind sharing them is just a mess making a mess.  At most, maybe they genuinely suspect Tae and Jennie are actually dating and they just want proof because they’re obsessed.

ETA: I forgot to address the media play aspect when I first posted, but I also don’t think that seems likely.  I do think it’s possible that the one or both companies recognize that there could be some unintended benefit to these rumors and they might be happy to take advantage of that, but personally, I don’t see why either company would orchestrate such a ridiculous plot, or what they would stand to gain in any significant way by doing so.

Personally, I remain completely unconvinced.  I don’t think they’re dating.  I don’t think it’s likely that Tae is romantically interested in women at all (possible yes, but not likely imo).  There is no consistent story of how the photos have gotten out to be able to think it’s likely or not.  I still think Taehyung and Jungkook act in ways that are consistent with the ways they’ve acted for years -- ways that appear quite couple-y to me.  And regardless of whether or not Tae and Jungkook are actually in a relationship, it still seems clear that their bond is in good shape, and I still don’t think it’s likely that Taehyung is dating Jennie.

Q&A with Kusanagi-sensei at the Manga Barcelona con

Kusanagi Mizuho was a guest on the Barcelona con 2019 and she had a panel with the fans this morning where they asked her some questions. None of them are plot-related, sadly (I suspect the questions sent by fans were heavily filtered to avoid spoilers). But if you’re curious about the personal and professional stuff she’s said, and her opinion about her characters, here’s a translation of the livetweeting by the manga’s publisher, Norma Editorial, which is here. I’m also complementing with Ramen Para Dos’ liveblogging.

Kusanagi requested not to have her picture taken. Except for those lucky few Spaniards and Catalanes who attended the panel, she’ll remain a meerkat to us. (Parenthesis notes are my commentary, not part of the interview!)

Q. When did you decide to start drawing?

A. She started to draw when she was around 9-10 years old. She’d make up complete stories she’d read her younger sister --who also came to the con.

Q. What was her favorite manga back then? And now?

A. She really liked Slam Dunk, Hana Yori Dango, and Ranma 1/2 when she was little. It seems she’s into redhead protagonists, Norma jokes. Right now she likes One Piece and Attack on Titan.

Q. Did she study in any sort of academy? Has she worked as an assistant? 

A. She went to art school (she specifies not manga, art) and was an assistant after graduating for 4-5 years.

Q. What does she currently delegated to her assistants?

A. She works with 4-5 people. They take care of drawing landscapes, armor, plates of food, extra things... They also help a lot with combat scenes: she’s the one who draws the basic battle panels but they finish them.

Q. Does she find it hard to make it to deadlines?

A. She laughed. Handing in chapters is so hard because she takes a long time to design the story, so she only dedicates 3 or 4 days to draw 30 pages because she has no time left.

Q. Does she like to listen to something or snack while she works? 

A. When she’s working on the story she needs total silence and being alone, but while she draws she likes to put on anime or movies or music as background noise.

Q. Where does Ao keep her acorns?

A. Squirrels usually carry 7 acorns in their mouths. Ao brings 10 at least!

Q.  Hak or Soo-Won? 

A. She laughs and assures us she has a lot of love for both of them.

Q. How did she come up with the manga’s setting?

A. At first she thought about basing it on Rome or Japan, but it didn’t fit. So in the end she combined different Asian scenarios to give birth to AkaYona.

(So... yeah, it’s not 100% Three Kingdoms Korea, it’s a hybrid. Also lol she really likes Rome, huh?)

Q. Does she have a favorite character? 

A. NE: She doesn’t have a favorite, she loves all of them and loves to draw them so they look as good-looking as possible when they look at themselves in the mirror.

RP2: When she creates a story centered in one character, she tries to focus all details on said character. But she feels appreciation for all characters in Akatsuki no Yona. Then there’s a character’s personality or some enemy that’s not liked by the audience and that motivates her to draw them more handsome.

(Well, that sure explains Keishuk becoming more luscious lately, but THEN THERE’S GOBI’S CRAZY FACES.....................)

Q. Does she feel identified with any of her characters?

A. All of her characters reflect part of her own idols so they don’t really represent her that much.

Q. Which dragon would she take on a journey if she had to go on adventures like Yona?

A. She’d like to take the four of them but if she had to choose she’d pick Jae-Ha. He’s kind to women and he can jump really high!

Q. The reveal of Zeno’s powers is one of the most amazing scenes in the series. How was it for her? 

A. She was looking forward to drawing it. She doesn’t like its brutality but it was necessary to express its importance. Regardless, she enjoyed it a lot.

Q. How does she feel about thinking of Yona as a strong, inspirational female character?

A. NE says that to her Yona is an ordinary girl, what makes her special is that she’s a fighter (the wording here is implied to be in a hardworking, fighting daily way, not as a warrior necessarily). Life taught her to be strong and positive and she thinks that’s very important. RP2 says that the character herself is normal but to her, Yona’s strength and courage to move forward is what stand out and inspires.

She got an ovation from the audience at this point :’)

Q. How does she feel about having so many fans overseas? 

A. She’s very happy and grateful! She’s so surprised to see so many people (women and men) around the world and outside of Japan who understand and enjoy Yona’s vision. She thanks us all so much!

Q. What does she do in her free time?

A. She loves to spend time with her cat. But she ends up annoying her cat sometimes, and she (the kitty) scratches her (Kusanagi) often.

Q. This one was for her editor, called Tokushige. Wat is it like to work with Kusanagi-sensei with a manga like Yona?

A. She says she knows the author’s job is very hard with a terrible pace and schedule. Despite that she has to be tough and mean to help Kusanagi with keeping the schedule and the quality. But while it’s touch she likes working with her/looks forward to it.

In the next part, they have Kusanagi ask the audience a question, and she throws the favorite character question back at them! There’s no recount of what people in the room said (besides the fact it took a long time for someone to say Hak and she remarked on that) but NE asked Twitter as well and you can see the answers on the thread.

(Since I slept through the interview, I missed the chance to tell her mine D: Shoutout to the MVPs in the thread who mentioned Yoon and Tae-jun in a sea of Haks and Yonas and Jae-has and Zenos. And the two cosplayers who went there as Argila and Vold!)

ETA: This livetweeting mentioning some characters the fans threw in. Yona, Hak, TAE-JUN several times, Soo-won, Geun-tae, Kija, squirrel Ao, and ship-wise besides HakYona there’s a Zeno/Kaya mention.

So anyway, that was all. Kusanagi brought presents for the selected people who won her signature (a case with Aos on it) plus a few more unknown presents (probably also those cases) to raffle on the Q&A with a jankenpon game. That was sweet of her!

Extra info I’ve seen: she had to take THREE planes to get to Spain from Kyushu. They also gave her her two consecutive awards to Best Shoujo by that same con, which they do yearly with the manganime that gets published here. They also gave her a soccer shirt of the famous local team (Barça) with her name on the back (10/Mizuho).
