Rui: "Luka-san is also a great support for us, especially when it comes to practice. She's serious and firm about what she does, but she was really worried when MEIKO-san accidentally cut her finger that one time..."

Akito: "I feel like she should stick to vocals instead of trying to learn the guitar..."

Haruka: "As much as I hate to say it, I don't blame you or Luka-san for being worried..."

Rui: "And then the last person to talk about is KAITO-san..."

Rui: "He doesn't really talk to us, so I don't know much about him, to be frank."

Haruka: "Yeah, he mostly keeps to himself no matter what you do."

Akito: "Pancakes too. 'Cause he kept hovering over my shoulder when I brought them into the SEKAI one day."

Ichika: "Oh, he did the same to me, so I assumed he liked yakisoba buns for that reason... so I gave one to him. Oh, and he did it another time with apples..."

im new here, so im sorry if this is a question youve answered before but tumblr's search bar failed me in finding this to be previous answered but.. uhmmm

c... can we make ocs/personas for Felt World? or would you rather we not or we hold off until further in?? bc i would love to make a puppet give our cowboy a smooch before he is, i assume bc he is a fucking catch and a half, taken off the market in canon lol i assume he wont still be single by the end. im a tad bit too embarrassed to ever post such drawings, but i wanted to know in case i ever did become brave enough to make them public if such you would be welcome to be tagged in or if that would make you feel uncomfortable

and also, for that purpose: as someone with disabilities, im really curious how disabilities are translated into Felt World? obviously not all of them, that'd take forever. but i was curious if they use mobility aids just like ours or if they use ones we could not have (an example of what i mean could be like "seal-chairs" in "Witch Hat Atelier"? they are chairs with hooves that run and jump, as opposed to wheels). and i know you said music is really powerful in this world, in both singing and instruments, but i wanted to also ask how in a world with so much focus on sound are the deaf/hard of hearing accomadated? deaf/HoH people can still play instruments, obviously (the most famous example being Beethoven), but i meant other than that

(also, if i recall accurately you once said that "the puppets have to speak to be considered sentient beings"? i was wondering if in the future could that be amended to "have to be able to communicate"? because i assume nonverbal puppets would still exist, as well as puppets who just dont speak much (whether thats a facet of deafness or nonspeaking shutdown or just a quiet personality). or would that break Felt World's world-building's logic in some way? that's a genuine question. i wasnt sure how to word it in a way that would minimize the risk of one being put on their back-foot, but i tried my best, it really is a genuine question)

(also, because i never like to assume fluency in disability-knowledge: if you need a resource on media portrayals of disability at any point, i highly recommend the youtuber, Oakwyrm. they do a lot of really cool analysis videos on disability. i do apologize if i am overstepping, and you are already largely fluent in disabled portrayals in media and/or already aware of Oakwyrm's existence. i just like to shout at least one resource out because i know many people have no idea where to look to learn more about general disability representation advice and whatnot. you do not have to watch their videos if you do not want to ♡)

also a bit of a tangent, idk if this is just a "for now" aspect of Donna due to her adjusting or if this is a core pillar of her personality but... just, thank you for making a feminine character who cries a lot and is emotional with Big Feelings. ive always felt more connected to the Dorthy Gales, Cinderellas, Clarisse de Cagliostros kind of heroines who are a bit of a "damsel in distress" (tho i do think that term reduces a lot of their agency and bravery) and i feel a bit lonely that we dont see many emotional-vitality-driven heroines who need some help as much as badass heroines or sassy heroines, both of whom are fully capable of getting shit sone alone. makes my cry-baby disabled ass feel a little pathetic (im very physically weak because of my chronic health issues, and am the type of Autistic ADHDer who is very sensitive to getting big feelings), even tho i know those types of heroines are valid and needed. i resonate a lot with AJR's lyric about "But I'm weak. And what's wrong with that?" even though i know im taking it out of context

and im sure Donna will prove herself capable of being on her own and having her own agency, same as all the heroines ive listed, i dont assume she will be stagnant, but i just wanted to really thank you for making a character that i relate to. i dont get that often. it makes me feel a bit abnormal and strange, and i mean moreso than the "well youre neurodivergent and sickly" kind of abnormal that would be implied. like. Weird Kid sitting alone at lunch kind of strange. so its really cool to see Donna and feel less lonely, is what im saying. i wish there were more heroines like her for people like me nowadays, rather than the archetype being reduced to "archiac stereotypes" (which i both do and dont understand the logic of. it depends on context and the example given) and therefore shelving a type of heroine we dont see in a lot of contemporary media (in exchange for a heroine we didnt get to see often (if at all) in past media, the sassy and badass ones, i do get it, and im glad theyre being used more as they should have always been. there are a select few of both camps that feel like "women have to be as stereotypically masculine as possible to be worthy of being called 'a strong character'" when i think strong characters have less to do with personality and more to do with "do they direct the narrative's plot? do they have agency?". but i could be wrong about that and i am getting off-topic)

but yeah. just. overall: thank you for introducing Donna to be like she is. it means a lot to me to see a heroine like her in contemporary media. im really excited to see what youll do next ♡ but yeah, i know im babbling a lot here and you dont need to reply to this half, i just really wanted to stress my thanks and WHY you have my thanks ♡♡♡ i really appreciate having Donna sit at my metaphorical lunch-table with me, even if she has to go sit somewhere else later. its been really nice to be beside her

I had to take a few hours to think about everything to make sure I answered everything. But I should start off by showing my gratitude for the amount of time and effort you put into formulating this! So thank you, this was a really cool ask to receive <3

As for OCs, absolutely you can! I've already had a few who've made theirs, and I have no rules at all when it comes to shipping or self inserts or anything, as long as everyone is being respectful towards each other ^^

As for the disability aspect, I have a few key points that I want to explore in regards to especially deafness and muteness (is it called that? muteness?), but that's further along the story and will be introduced later! Also how song vs instruments work in this world is a part of the lore itself that'll be explained further down the line too, so no need to worry about our fellow mute or deaf/hoh peeps!

I have of course thought about mobility aids and other disability accommodations (because they can be born with defect, illnesses, and be injured pretty much like us, their bodies are a bit more fantastical but there are still rules) but i must admit didn't think further other than to give them similar mobility aids that we use. But clearly it would make more sense to make something more fantastical! I'll give it a thought! That's probably gonna be a fun design exercise ^^

I'm not sure if I can answer the entire ask in a way that does it justice, it's quite frankly the coolest message I've gotten, I'm gonna try and not let it get to my head (lol),

but i'm so glad you and seemingly many others seem to like Donna and appreciate her specifically for being sensitive and reacting strongly. It shouldn't be but it's really daunting to write female leads because as we know people just don't like women in media generally, but I eventually just got over it because I realized I was starting to write a character that demanded the audience cared and respected, rather than showing a story that I had fun telling, in a world worth exploring.

And not to spoil but I've already decided I do not want Donna to go through an arc where she's forced to abandon her emotions or go through something physically traumatic in order to "become tough" to be respected, that's not only overdone but lame and harmful wish fulfillment. So no worries in that department!

But anyways, I don't think I can properly say how appreciative I am of this ask!!! It really warms my heart that you and other people are going out of your way to send me asks about my little story that I came up with on a whim!!! It's truly the best compliment as a creator.

ngl i wonder what boyoung's reaction to all of that was. idk if it's just me, but i wouldn't feel good about being the "special" one or the one to "fix" a playboy after witnessing how said playboy would string along girls for entirely self-serving purposes. my whole thing with hookups and friends-with-benefits is it's only gonna work out if both parties are completely aware that they're just in it for the pleasure and know for themselves that there will never be anything more.

idk i'd really like to get boyoung's perspective in all of this, and tbh san needs to go through a MAJOR redemption arc like i'm talking zuko level shit after what he pulled.

also i'm not sure how to feel about y/n. i know that last chapter was purposefully trying to highlight how much of a bitch a woman like y/n can be when they want a man and can't have them, but there truly was no need to take it out on boyoung. y/n is a very polar character to me because she does these nice things for others and at least has some basic human decency (like at the party when wooyoung was in trouble), but then she almost seems to negate that by going after someone's looks and assuming she's gone through more than another person has even when she doesn't know? just because she wants a boy. it's astounding what "love" can turn a person into. how a person can and will betray their own morals just to get the person they want in the end. i guess the main takeaway here is that people like her are constantly on paths to grow and overcome that more selfish part of themselves, and i truly hope that by the end of the story y/n can do that. maybe one day apologize to boyoung (because no man is ever worth destroying a person's self-esteem over), and then maybe even find true love like yeojin (and i say true because although san was completely cruel in how he said it, he was right in that y/n doesn't truly love him, just the idea of winning someone like him).

i also think that mingi might play a big part in this, giving y/n the reality check she needs. so that one day, she'll look back at these times and laugh at herself. SO sorry for the long ask btw 😅

let me tell you something, male validation is like the finest crack cocaine you get hooked on it QUICKLY so fat chance is that being the 'special' one would make anyone feel good😭 and boyoung wasnt the one to "fix him" that was just yeojin talking but she doesnt exactly know whats going on between san and boyoung (and i don't plan on dwelling on the romance part between them too much or why she's special to san bc there are enough stories like that out there) but i totally get what you mean tho!

why IS boyoung into san even after knowing how he treats other girls?

i never understood it either which is why i decided to take that basic trope and reverse it so we can all see the player/fuckboy/bad boy that everyone fell in love with while reading fics for what he really is and what he's actually like towards girls who he isn't in love with 😭 because there are countless stories where the male oc in san's place treats the mean girl like trash but no-one bats an eye bc you know you're not supposed to be on the mean girl's side.

as for y/n... she's one of the most complex characters i've ever written. yn knows that boyoung didn't deserve that, in fact throughout the chapter, she compliments her even when she's trying to put boyoung down in her head and she ( i think two?? or three?? times by now in the story) says that she'll feel bad later when she thinks of what she's done to boyoung but in the moment it makes yn feel better so she let's the ugly side of her win.

yn is a very flawed character here so its okay if you dont know how to feel about her. after all, you would hate her if i was writing this story from boyoung's perspective😭

and my mingi...my sweet mingi 😭 i'm not going to comment on his relationship with yn just yet, its too early.

The piercing eyes of a mere stranger to you can't help but lock onto you out of pure awe. It's difficult to notice the man when you're so distracted by someone else who he can't bear looking at. Jeon Jungkook, the absolute douche that you're speaking with instead of looking at him.

His annoyance always dissipates when he only sees you and how passionately you talk, and it helps with the jealousy lacing his heart when he imagines it's him across from you. You aren't so forthcoming when he sits next to you during lectures, and he understands that—appreciates it, in fact. There's no competition unless you count the acquaintance or whatever that listens to you with love adorning eyes.

Jungkook has no chance with you, and no one else will when he musters up the courage to finally ask you out. He's been waiting for weeks, maybe months, to ask the magical line he's practiced countless times: Will you go out with me?

He just has to wait until Jungkook isn't fighting for your attention by not even doing anything. It's so frustrating how he gets to have you all for himself in this exact moment, but not for long—he's growing impatient.

And it's perfect timing when some older guy joins your conversation, immediately earning greetings by the both of you, and he takes this opportunity to walk in your direction. He adjusts the cuffs of his shirt and the stray hair hanging over his forehead before approaching you. Finally. You will look at him this time.

"H-hi," he curses under his breath at his stutter before clearing his throat. You look up at him from your seat and your gaze immediately turns into one that could only be described as Stranger Danger.

"Yes?" you say, not even noticing the error in his first word. He finds it sweet how you don't care.

Just as he's about to introduce himself, that douche, that stupid Jungkook rudely cuts in, "The fuck you want?"

He has to inhale a deep breath and stop himself from glaring at the guy before locking eyes with you. His heart flutters at your attention and he stops grinding his teeth. His eyes soften and he bites lip nervously before saying, "I-I'm Yeonjun a-and I know who you are, w-we have Human Anatomy together if you remember—"

"Cut to the chase."

You disregard Jungkook's attitude and coldly say, "Yes, I remember. Did you need something?"

"Well, uh," he has to take his eyes off of you to get his words together and squeak, "I was wondering if you were busy tonight, you know, because th-there's this—"

"She's taken."

Yoongi has to stifle a laugh as he mutters, "School's new heartthrob, huh?"

Yeonjun blanks out for a few seconds before he mumbles, "You have a boyfriend?" He's crushed, disheartened, and what's this other feeling? Bloodlust?

"Right here," Jungkook points at himself with a sickening smile. "And I believe this is your cue to leave and never speak to her again."

"You're her boyfriend?" Yeonjun laughs in disbelief. He can't understand how you can be with someone like him and it gives him the courage to say, "Now I seriously think you should consider my offer. You're really dating this asshole?"

Jungkook abruptly stands and hovers over him with his eyes throwing daggers. "And I seriously think you should leave before I fucking–"

You stammer before awkwardly standing up as well. "The answer is no," you affirm and try to hide Jungkook behind you. At least Yeonjun is looking at you now. "I'm in a perfect relationship–"

"Yeah, now scramble, kid."

"Yeonjun," Yoongi sighs, "it's your best option really. Wrestling is my favorite sport, but I mean, you're not really an opponent here."

The man in question exhales shakily and trembles under your stare. His heart is racing just from this proximity alone, and he's okay with this eye contact until Jungkook pushes him back.

"Keep your fucking distance."

"Please just leave," you exasperate. You hate it when Jungkook turns violent for no good reason. This whole situation is stupid. "I'm not interested, and never will be."

"You won't have the fucking chance either," Jungkook reminds you as he tugs on your hair. "You heard her. If I see you around her again, harrassing her for some fucking date, I swear to–"

"I won't." Yeonjun smiles widely before adverting his eyes to Jungkook's. "She'll come to me once she realizes how much of a cliché you are." He then winks at you, "I'll see you later, cutie."

|Hello, real person behind Rai here, I wanted to clarify some things because I don’t think I made it clear before (I’m sorry about that). Rai is a complete OC, their not a self-insert at all, and they have their own life completely separate from mine. Although it is true that I’ll be busy on July and won’t write letters frequently, I wanted to give an in-character Roleplay reason as to why Rai is not as active as the first few letters, hence the panicking at the last letter.

(Blacked out) I checked out the altar room a little more, and the phrase "An eye for an eye" (or something approximate because Google Translate) was on the back of the altar in Greek. Jake helped me translate it before we argued.

Mixing mythologies yet again. So far we've got Egyptian, Greek, and... Biblical? I think that's from the Bible. Sue me, it's been a while since I took World Religions.

Actually... no. I guess it hasn't. It just feels longer than it actually was.

I'll try to be a little more specific about what's in the north room. It's not... quite as bad as I made it out to be before, but I was already freaking out and in a bad headspace from remembering the freaky stuff, and I blew it a little out of proportion. I'm not sure how I'd even explain what it really is, though.

It's something similar to a hologram, transparent enough that you can see the trees through it. There's some text in white that doesn't seem to be addressed to me, implying that I'm stuck between the end of something and the beginning of another. Then there are a couple bars— five, to be exact —and two of them are filling with orange very slowly. The others are untouched so far. It's implied I'll be out of this place when all the bars fill up to full. I'm not sure this text was necessarily written by the entity, though. If it was, I think it'd address me a little more directly.

I don't think the argument Jake and I had is necessarily all that useful to the investigation, but since I'm trying to not keep secrets anymore, I'll say it regardless. The cause is tangentially related to the case, anyhow.

I asked him a little while ago whether he could find out if there was a missing person's out for me or not, so we could figure out the extent of the stasis. Then drama happened and I completely forgot all about it until two days ago. I asked him again then, and he sort of acted a little cagey while telling me that he was still in the process of investigating, and told me to wait another day. So I did. I don't think he expected me to remember, since I forget things all the time, but I don't forget things I'm really invested in and I REALLY wanted to know the answer to that question.

Jake made an excuse and went offline when I tried to ask again, which sort of made me think the worst. In hindsight, thinking that anyone who could've reported me missing was dead was pretty stupid, but you try being rational in the face of an unknown like that. In any case, I got anxious, and that sort of blew everything out of proportion, and then that made me more and more upset, and given all the other bullshit inherent in this place and the stress I've been through lately I just completely broke down. Had to sit down and put my head down so I was less likely to pass out from my hyperventilating. Luckily, I knew what was going on and I know breathing exercises, so it wasn't as bad as it could have been.

In any case, when I was back to being semi-functional, I unlocked my phone again, meaning to close out of the chat, but apparently my last few texts before I had to stop had managed to get across to Jake at least a portion of how freaked out I was. He probably figured it out based on all the typoes and the lack of punctuation or something, his "flaw" (if you can call it that) only seems to make him oblivious to tone and not to outright out of character writing styles.

So he finally told me that there wasn't a missing person's out for me, and not only that but everyone who might have put one out pretty much forgot I existed. He got my fucking parents to answer a "survey," and they only filled out that my half-sister existed, not me. Legal documents and stuff were still all in order, but literally the only people who seem to remember I fucking exist are the Duskwood crew and you and Lis and he had the nerve to tell me that he didnt want to tell me because it wasnt essential information and it would affect my judgement

Back now. I screamed abuse into the woods for a couple minutes, so I feel a bit better now.

I can see his point, logically, but for fuck's sake, there are some things that don't have much to do with the case that I do need to know regardless. This is one.

I'm not going to cut contact with him forever. To put it callously, neither of us can afford that. But if I talk to him now, I'm going to end up saying something or other I'll regret.

Rai, are you doing alright? I know you've got personal issues going on, and I'm not trying to pry into them, but your writing is sort of disjointed and you mentioned being "fuzzy" and "not comprehending words right". Are you getting enough to drink and to sleep? I know weird shit happens to me when I get dehydrated. If you ever feel like you're about to pass out, sit down and put your head between your knees. If this continues, maybe you should see a doctor. Do you feel like your head is stuffed with cotton balls, at all? Any other symptoms?

I noticing a trend where I'm doing this thing where I write my friend's oc and my oc together doing things....

Anyway here is Sorrel and @belphegorasmr 's oc Sookie becoming friends (sorta) at a Lucifer can suck my @$$ club

"THE INCANTATION, SOOKIE. DO YOU KNOW IT OR NOT!?" The demon professor bellowed. 

Sookie already felt bad enough being the only student unable to cast this spell. Heck they are the only human student with no magical powers! They already felt bad enough that they had to be exempt from the casting portion but not even remembering the words to say… wow.

"Today puny human!" a demon classmate sneered from the other side of the class. 

IIt's just a bunch of words why can't they remember! They studied so hard! The pressure was about to get to them when the human sitting at the desk next to them started tapping on the desk very loudly and coughed. Sookie looked over and the girl carefully gestured to the paper where she has written the incantation. 

"rosmarinus mentha petroselinum enchelycore pardalis" Sookie read of the page. 

"Finally… yes that is the incantation. Moving on-"

Sookie sighed with relief. That classmate is new...well newish. She came in a few weeks ago. She rubbed her forehead with her fingertips, flipped back to her notes, and started writing again. Sookie should thank her for the help… but what was her name again...

Right as the bell rang signaling the end of the day Sookie tried to thank her. She was packing up her books into her backpack with sookie sorta standing nearby trying to think of a way to introduce themself. 

"Great… look at what you've done now Sorrel…" the human said to just  herself loud enough that Sookie could hear.

"S-Sorrel? Uh hey. I-"

"Not intrested." Sorrel said as she brushed past Sookie.

Sorrel groaned. Curse her kind nature. 4 visable pact marks and no knowledge of magic. How does someone even get that many pacts without knowing any spells? Can they even cast? She never seen them get called on to cast any of the spells. Oh Demeter they are a walking mess with that many pacts and no magic to make a demon submit. She cant imagine the horror that will occur when all those demons come to "collect".

Sorrel opened her locker and unzipped her bag. She placed the unneeded books and collected a project for the club she recently joined. Well not that she can really call it that. It's just Satan and his little brother Belphegor from what she has heard. More of a brother bond thing she will inevitably be the third wheel in. She won't admit it but she only agreed to it out of fear. She has no interest in hating on Lucifer but she is great with pranks. In her herbology of the three realms class she came up with a really good one that could accomplish both the clubs and her own.

"Hey… you didn't let me finish." 

Oh.. not this loser again.

"I only helped you because I wanted the class to go on. There is no need to thank me. You owe me nothing." Sorrel explained. Why is her kind always so eager to make friends?

"All I was going to say was…" Sookie a notebook in their hands. No that wasnt a notebook that was Sorrel observational diary. The one that if a demon read it would report her and have her expelled at best beheaded at worse.

"You forgot it." Sookie said.

Sorrel reaches up and grabs sookie by the collar of their uniform pulling them down to her level.

"PLEASE TELL ME YOU DID NOT READ IT!" Sorrel growled through clenched teeth. She snatched the journal away from them.

"No-no I wouldnt dare." Sookie only grabbed it and was trying to return it. They assumed it was just notes for the class they were just in.

"Good! Now if you excuse me I have a club meeting to go to." Sorrel said and stormed off.

Sorrel walked towards the House of Lamentation. This is the first time heading to the house but she has a GPS app with the address put in. She was walking along but she could tell she was being followed. She was coming up on a turn soon and according to her DDD there will be a long stretch of road to the house of Lamentation. Surely she wouldn't be followed there… unless her follower is really really dumb.

Sure enough Sorrel was followed. Oh now they are going to get it. Sorrel pretended to trip but what she really did was leave a trap. A few short moments and the spell was activated.

"WHAAAAAAA!!!"

"Gotcha!" Sorrel shouted. You won't believe who was following her.

"Sookie! Why are you following me!? This place is dangerous!" Sorrel shouted surprized that out of all the things that could have followed her to the house of Lamentation ot would be this human.

"I'm just trying-"

"No you go the other way! I'm taking a huge enough of a risk as is heading this way. You could die. If you value your life you will wait for the vines to dispel and go the other way! I don't Care what you are trying to do you don't ever come this way ever again!" Sorrel explained before running off.

Finally… she reached the House of Lamentation. She texted Satan to let him know she was on her way. Satan welcomed her in and lead Sorrel to what would be the meeting room. She wasn't expecting their to be a formal room for the club since it was just satan and his brother but I guess they are taking this clube thing very seriously.

"Here it is go and head on in. Belphie is already waiting inside." Satan said as he opened the door.

Sorrel wasn't expecting much… but this… 

This was just sad.

It was a musky old closet. Some of the clothes that hung from the hangers were rotted with age. Belphegor was already in the room sleeping in an open cardboard box cuddling his cow print pillow. There was a dusty moldy cushion, a metal fold out chair and another box slightly crushed as if someone tried to sit there but it caved under their weight. There was a whiteboard and a corkboard in the room with various papers and notes scribbled on them. 

You would think with a house this large and upscale they would have a better room to set up in.

"...where do I sit?" Sorrel asked, trying to hide her disgust. Why did she agree to this?

"The cushion. The chair is for the founder and president satan." Belphegor said from his box.

"Ahh…" Sorrel cringed a little. She took off her cape and covered the cushion with it before sitting on it. Satan took his spot and pulled out his phone. 

"So is the meeting starting?" Sorrel asked after a few moments of awkward silence.

"We are waiting for one more member." Satan said.

"Why are they late…?" Belphegor growled from his box.

"They said they would be running late." Satan clairfied.

Sorrel did wonder which brother of theirs could g the forth. Mammon had every right to want to join a Lucifer hating club. She was introduced to him while he was strung up upside down. Then there is Asmodeus who hangs around Satan fairly often. The two seem to get along well… but Asmodeus doesnt seem to hate Lucifer. Which brother is it then?

A few more moments passed and a patterned knock on the closet. Finally… maybe this club meeting can be done and over with so Sorrel can finally get some fresh air.

"Sorry I'm late…." 

Oh of all the rotten…

"SOOKIE!?" Sorrel gasped.

"Welcome in. We were waiting for you. I see you have met our newest member." Satan said.

"Uh… hi. I just got a little tangled up was all." Sookie tried to make themselves small desperately not wanting to be in thsi situation. 

"Who kept you?" Belphegor asked from inside his box. His tone has the faintest hint of anger. 

"No… nobody. It's fine" Sookie replied. They wanted to avoid any more conflict. 

"If you have a problem you don't have to be afraid to ask for help. We keep telling you to stand up for yourself." Satan added. 

The meeting began in earnest. Sorrel trying to contain how completely terrified. She toned out most of the meeting. She took a few deep breaths calm herself as best she can. Those pact marks on Sookie must belong to some of these brothers. Somehow this lanky disaster human manged to pact at least 4 of them. No wonder why she didn't recognize the marks. The seven lords rarely make pacts. She needs to be on Sookie's good side. Someone with that kind of power could be useful.

"Sorrel you texted me earlier that you had an idea." Satan said snapping Sorrel out of her thoughts

"Oh yes…" she dug into her bag and pulled out a folder. She pulled a few papers out and passed them to Satan. He glances over each page.

"I don't understand what these documents mean…" Satan said.

"They are human world legal forms. One is for child support for Satan. It says he needs to take responsibility as a parent. Another is a summons to court for Belphegor to sue Lucifer for not winning the celestial war." Sorrel explained. Sookie snickered at the idea but the demons seemed a bit confused.

"And what do you plan to do with these forms?" Satan asked.

"We make a ton on copies and mix it into whatever paperwork that he needs to do." Sorrel said.

"Brilliant! Meeting adjourned. I have some copies to make." Satan said getting up from his chair and leaving the room. 

"Hey wait I can help you with that!" Sorrel called out but he didn't listen.

Sookie sighed. They were the next to walk out of the closet. They didn't have any hard feelings against Sorrel. She was just trying to protect them...right? She has to have some merit for Satan to have taken notice of her. Then again Sorrel did tangle them up in vines in an area she thought was dangerous and left them alone and vulnerable. 

Whatever. They could live with seeing Sorrel in class and once a week for this stupid do nothing club. Satan did seem happy with her idea. They can tolerate her for Satan's sake. 

"Wait. Sookie." Sorrel tapped on Sookie's sholder.

"Sorrel! Geez... I'm just heading to my room." Sookie explained.

"I… I just want to apologize. Not just because you have powerful demosn on your side. I was rude." She said slightly bowing her head.

"It's fine… I guess you were trying to watch out for me. But I'malsosorryifIdidsomethingthatupsetyou" Sookie apologized back. Why where they so weird?

"No you where just trying to be nice. I was dismissive. Regardless we should exchange numbers not only because we are in a club together but because sometimes you just need a human to talk to." Sorrel explained.

"Uh thanks I… I promise I won't text you at weird hours or anything." Sookie said as they pulled out their DDD and gave Sorrel their number.

"Would be amusing if you did." Sorrel smiled.

- 100% of one those people who assumes he knows how the play the lute and gets confused when he says he cant. and then he forgets that he cant play the lute the moment he leaves bellus’s field of vision for longer than 5 minutes

- may unintentionally stress lute out since this boys v into the concept of romance so the moment he finds out about vice dorm leader tink getting mysterious gifts and letters, hes jumping onto that and talking about it 24/7. he also wakes up at sunrise naturally so depending on how long it takes for bellus to get bored of trying to figure out tinks ~mysterious admirer~, theres a good chance he might accidentally find lute leaving gifts

- if he does find out, bellus does offer to give advice. though considering bellus and the other mermaids are known for pulling tricks and that even if bellus is being genuine he has a naive concept of love, it probably isnt in lute’s best interest to listen to him. outside of that, he does treat the whole situation like a soap opera

- other than the tink situation, he takes notice of lute at the piracticus parties mostly due to lute’s singing and dancing. if lutes in the nrc music club like bellus is, he likely tries to get lute to share his dance moves tm

MERI:

- has read lute’s diary at least once and was annoyed it didnt really have anything hidden tm. and then he found out you can just ask lute to read it and he’ll let you and he was v disappointed his overcomplicated plan to sneak it out wasnt even worth it

- meris also probably used lute as a distraction for a prank without telling him whats happening despite the fact lute also likes pranks. smh meri

- after reading his diary and paying more attention to lute afterwards, he probably figured out about the amnesia if it isnt something that the rest of the dorm already knows

- tbh the amnesia part is what gets meris attention since hes just a v curious boy and he’ll end up hunting down lute after classes and asking him a million questions about it. though since meri is v blunt and doesnt really have... tact he’d probably come off as a dick unintentionally. and then not understand why lutes upset at some of the things he says. even if he does he’ll still follow after lute to ask him any questions he thinks of about it until hes either told to stop by conrad/tink/kenn or the concept of it all loses its luster

- meri has mixed thoughts on him because on one hand, willing accomplice to pranks if he asks nice enough and on the other hand, hes never really been drawn to levelheaded people so whatever relationship they have would really depend on their first interaction

- makes too many jokes about lute and lutes. he really wants lute to learn how to play one-

CASPIAN:

- so. caspian is the most introverted of the group and doesnt go out of his way to talk to people he doesnt know. but he does enjoy people watching. and thats what would make him pay attention to lute because lute has a v nice face

- he also likes to doodle people regardless on if they talk much so caspian probably has a few doodles of lute, mostly focusing on his hair. though ever since hes come to the mainland hes realized that people here dont really appreciate that as much as mermaids do so its unlikely he’d show lute them unless lute caught caspian in the act and asked him about it

- thinks lutes a good boy tm. caspian would take a lot of notice of how lutes personality is and lowkey be reminded of kenn and thats enough for him to respect him more than other dorm members

- if lute ever approaches him caspian’d be willing to play instruments with him. and then is :o when he finds out he cant play the lute. Will offer to teach him since he thinks it’d make sense for him to learn but doesnt push it

KENN:

- since hes the one expected to reel in bellus & meri, one of them bothering lute is what’d make him pay attention to lute outside of the piraticus parties. from there on he’d finally pay more attention to the fact that lute’s the dorm mom and that’d get his respect & appreciation since he knows taking care of others can be a pain in the ass if those people are v rowdy like bellus & meri. so lute pretty much gets free pass to get kenn to deal with the two mermaids whenever he needs it (or just wants to get them out the room-)

- notices the heart quirk and thinks its amusing to witness, especially whenever tinks around. he thinks its also pretty inconvenient to have if lute ever has to barter or something though that wouldnt stop kenn from using that to his advantage he wanted to trade some treasure or something else for other things

- does think lutes dancing and musical abilities are fun to see and listen to! hes also willing to shut up the others when they keep bringing up the instrument lutes, like guys that stopped being funny before even the first time you tried making that joke, stop talking-

- ultimately his feelings towards lute can be summed up in a respectful head nod whenever they see each other across the hall

So @mdeenise “challenged” me to answer all of the questions from this Hogwarts Mystery Asks: MC. I’ve already answered some (can check ‘asks’ or ‘ask game’ tags, I’ll also link them in my Masterlist) so I’ll answer the rest I haven’t been asked yet here because

1. What is their whole name?

5. How is there relationship with Jacob?

Keira and Jacob were very close - it was them against the world! They’re very protective of one another, they can get/have gotten into a lot of trouble together, both with a rebellious, mischievous streak; but they are also siblings so there’s teasing, embarrassing each other, lots of physical ‘play fighting’ - they’re very much like I can be mean to my sibling but if you’re mean to them I’ll hurt you. Clearly when he ‘disappeared’ it was devastating for Keira and she felt completely alone. 

6. How is their relationship with their parents?

Both Keira and Jacob loved their mom who was their primary caregiver. Keira honestly doesn’t really remember her dad much but Jacob hates him. She has a vague recollection of him and Regulus and Sirius, a bit better memory of Sirius who kept in contact with her and Jacob even after they moved to Canada, possibly to spite his parents but Keira thinks he actually cares about his younger half-siblings even if it was something that started out from spite or curiosity. 

When their mom died of course Jacob and Keira were very sad over their loss. They were then taken in by their mom’s close friends and moved to Canada from Ireland and while there was an adjustment period they both appreciate the care they provided, and while Jacob and Keira didn’t exactly feel like they belong in this ‘family’ their mom’s friends were great parental figures and they do care about them and appreciate everything they’ve done for them. Their dad was nonexistent in their lives after the passing of their mom (he passed soon after the next year, after the death of Regulus) but when they arrived in the UK to attend Hogwarts they did find savings left for them from their dad in Gringotts (safe to assume without his wife’s knowledge). 

So both love their mom and ‘adopted’ parents (unofficially adopted =p) and while Jacob hates their dad and views him as a manipulative, selfish, neglectful arse, Keira is pretty neutral and apathetic about her dad since she doesn’t really remember him all that well. But she appreciates the money! =p 

8. How’s their relationship with their family?

Ahahahahahaha - I’m cackling =p

Unfortunately, the family on Keira and Jacob’s mom’s side are all pretty much passed or they have no idea who they are =p Their mom and mom’s parents are passed and their mom had no siblings since her mom died relatively soon after her birth (undines...) As stated before, Jacob and Keira appreciate and care very much for their mom’s friends who took them in after her passing, although a bit of awkwardness since it’s not ‘really’ their family...

As for the Black side of their family *more cackling* Orion seemed much more interested in their mom than them and didn’t seem to want much to do with them, at least according to Jacob. Walburga hates them and this whole situation, of course! With good reason! She honestly probably would of had them killed. She focused most of her energy on ensuring this scandal did not get out into the public and was probably very relieved when they moved across the pond. Of course when Jacob returned to attend Hogwarts he was done living this lie and didn’t care who it upset and went by his Black family name, encouraging his sister to do the same - this family would not win! Walburga could try to deny it all she wanted but a paternity test (which I’ve done some research on Wizarding World paternity tests and some interesting ideas came up!) just proved it.

Despite this, Walburga and the rest of the Black family continued to ignore their entire existence. Andromeda may have been left out of the loop considering she was disowned from the family as well but when Keira and Tonks realized they were both related to Bellatrix Lestrange, and therefore related themselves, Keira was so happy to be accepted by some members of the Black family. Sirius also was accepting of his younger half-siblings and stayed in contact with them even after they moved to Canada. He may have only gone to see them at first out of curiosity and then continued to visit and communicate with them out of spite to his parents but he probably did care about them and enjoyed them more than Regulus because they weren’t brought up in a pureblood elitist household. Probably wished their mom was his mom which would just upset Walburga. And if Walburga didn’t hate them before, after she passed, Keira, now more spiteful and daring with everything that has happened, moved into the now empty (well except for Kreacher) 12 Grimmauld Place which would just piss Walburga off! How she convinced Remus, no idea - basically she was like I’m doing this and Remus had to go along with it =p

Wait, is Kreacher family? Keira and Kreacher argue a lot and she will not stand for him being mean to Remus or any of her friends and will threaten to kick him out although it’s an empty threat because she wouldn’t actually kick him out and make him homeless! Kreacher of course thinks she’s invading some place that does not belong to her but because she is a Black she sort of does belong there and while not related to his previous Walburga, she is to Orion so he has to put up with her =p They eventually reach an understanding. Kreacher is free to stay there and does not have to do any chores or cleaning up after her or Remus, as long as he’s nice... or just stays away from her friends and Remus. 

I’m not sure how Regulus felt about them, maybe neutral? I think discovering his dad’s affair would be a shock to him, he might be curious as well to meet them and I like to think did meet them at least once, possibly while their mom was passing (like Orion went to see her and Sirius and Regulus decided to go as well because, hey, it is their younger siblings whether they like it or not and it’s a hard thing to go through) but I think he was more worried and concerned about Death Eater affairs and tricking Voldemort =p

So while Keira is close with Tonks, and probably her parents as well, and both Keira and Jacob are accepted by Sirius, and maybe even Regulus, who knows =p, most of the Black family still pretends they don’t exist. Although I like to think Keira later bonds with Draco and they become close and overall these next generations are going to be better. And while Bellatrix may refuse to acknowledge Keira’s relationship to her, deep down she actually really likes Keira because she’s a strong, tough bitch who isn’t afraid of her and would have killed Dumbledore without even being a Death Eater if asked =p Seriously, Keira knows she’s actually Bella’s favorite. 

(This also pretty much works for my original HP OC bio where she was Sirius’ daughter because besides Tonks, Andromeda, and Ted, the rest of the Black family wouldn’t really acknowledge her existence either)

Does Remus count as family? Of course he does, he’s “Uncle Remus!” =p Remus and Keira had an instant bond, they are incredibly close - I like to think of it as two people who felt completely alone in the world found each other and now they were not longer alone. Keira is very much like Sirius, and Jacob can be very much like James actually, so it was actually nice for Remus to be around them if not bittersweet. I actually have a post about Keira and Remus’ relationship so I won’t say too much more besides they are very close and Keira is suuuuper protective over him.

Keira has a Siamese cat and Jacob had a Barred Owl named Archimedes which I guess is hers now too? Jacob also wanted a dog or crup but then went to school so their ‘adoptive’ parents are taking care of it =p

She won’t outright admit it but it’s obvious to everyone else besides Charlie. Wasn’t even aware of it herself for quite awhile! =p But fortunately she plays it pretty cool and isn’t a stuttering mess around him so maybe he has no idea she likes him because she’s so chill and nonchalant about it. Although she can be flirtatious but she can be like that with a lot of people =p (She’s related to Sirius she can’t help it! =p)

16. Have they ever dated someone before (Either back at their home or at Hogwarts)?

Rumour has it during her summer before Sixth Year, where she spent most of it in Canada, and going into Sixth Year she was dating someone. Has not been confirmed nor denied. 😜

His relationship with his mother is pretty much non existent. She always cared for Jacob more. Everything for Jacob. Jacob is her world and he was just an afterthought. He doesn’t remember the last time she ever hugged him . He resents her for everything . For never giving a damn about him. Leaving him to fend for himself . Not being a mother. To him at least. He resents the fact that she wishes it was him that disappeared instead of Jacob. All his relatives treated him like a curse and a burden . He never knew what real love was supposed to be like. He thought everyone he ever met was going to hate him. Speak out of turn he was sent to the dungeon in the basement for days without food . Just completely ignored and shut out form the world . He was pretty much the Butler without a title. The only shinning light in the darkness he had was his grandma. She was the only one that showed him compassion that made him feel like everything wasnt so damn fucked up in his life. He would walk the forest and go on errands with her and have the time of his life. Until one day an accident happened and the glimmer of hope and light faded as soon as he saw her in that hospital bed. Family is supposed to love and support you but what happens when the people that should care just use you and hurt you everyday . When you fight back it only leads to further punishment . And the person that calls herself mom doesn’t do shit to stop it all.

14. What is their favorite food to eat? How often do they get to eat it ?

His favorite food to eat is pizza . Though he has only had it a few times. When he first saw it he had no idea what to expect. Then when he took a bite it was love at first bite. So sometimes Rowan will bribe him with pizza to get him to study or do homework. Sometimes he comes through and sometimes he just bluffs .

35. What’s the easiest way to annoy them?

Compare him to his brother or just assume the worst of him without getting to know him. Believing all the lies of the daily prophet about him is an easy way to make his prank list. If he could he would destroy the daily prophet but he can’t so if you start talking shit about him you will get wrecked . Comparing him to his brother is like hitting a nerve. He resents him for so many things he’s done. He took at their moms love for himself and made her cry. He pretends to be a good guy but is a leech. Their mom is so blind to the truth of the matter because she doesn’t enemies her Jacob is capable of being a fuck up. So, compare him to his brother or say he is anything like him and you’d probably get hexed into the hospital wing. That also goes for if you decided to go after his friends .

58. What’s their most noticible physical attributes?

Sometimes he will just silently walk up to his friends and scare them unintentionally because he doesn’t really notice he’s doing it. He’s had to sneak around for so long it’s like second nature to him . It also comes in handy when he feels like pranking. His other attribute is that he’s the only one in his entire family that has red eyes . As a kid they make him wear sunglasses all the time or put a hood on so that muggles wouldn’t notice his eyes and make a scene. So, when Rowan and the gang all saw his eyes he was secretly afraid they would freak out and ditch him because that’s what his family told him would happen. But they didn’t and he was grateful for that. He’s also tall but also not super tall and he’s fine with that.

62. Have they ever been betrayed before? How did that affect their ability to trust others?

His family all betrayed the fuck out of him. Going to hogwarts was like an wscape from the depths of hell. He would hear all the rumors and minutes of the students about him. He swore to never let people in close enough to disappoint or destroy him. So when Rowan wanted to be friends he was hesitant and said no afbfirst. He thought he wasn’t good enough to be friends with anyone. All his life he was told he wasn’t good enough so someone willingly wanting to be around him because they like him was news to him. He couldn’t cope with it at the beginning. He seriously thought he was just joking and waiting for towan to laugh at him and say he was lying. Yet he never did and actually wanted to be friends. Then he got more and more friends through out the years . Now, He’s slowly coming to the realization that maybe he is good enough. Also, that sometimes the people that are your family don’t have to blood to feel at home. His friends are the family he wished he could of had . He just hopes he doesn’t ruin his new family.
