today at work my two coworkers were talking about how blogging culture doesn't really exist in modernity anymore, at least in a widespread way, which is a great shame.

this spoken declaration, coupled with the deep, persistent despair i feel everytime i scroll on twitter for more than three minutes, has finally inspired me to make a tumblr blog again. it's been years since i've been on this platform—but there's almost a giddy excitement i've been feeling as i set my blog up. i feel like i'm connecting with my anime-obsessed past self from 2015 as i upload my header image, pick out an accent color. maybe i'll even custom code my own theme again! the world is a beautiful shiny oyster, and it's mine mine mine!

I have three 2-packs of pepper spray in my backpack. Abuelita gave them to me so I can’t leave them at home, she’ll find them and I’ll get them in the care package next week.

I know i have just Forsaken the scarf but actually pondered it a lot today (because i was brainstorming how the au would work

As far as i remember it didnt have a Ton of significance that would make you think. The End would play out like that, or any implications there. But i think thats a good thing. her scarf is just a cool detail you’ll notice when you look at her. she likes having something flow behind her is the most you could infer, which could mean something now that i write it out but i prefer it simplified. Because when shes stripped of the cosmically important Thing , the way she gets it back is with her scarf. The way i see it there’s something there about how no one would think to take that away, the only threat she poses is via her sword, in the eyes of others and herself. But at the very end theres a simple little thing specific to herself, and her personality and humanity that she draws upon. It’s as easy to realize as a flowing scarf in a character design, but she uses that thing to get the sword back, because even if she may realize it too, its not enough
