I mean, it’s never entirely broken because, for example, even though avatarkadaj can reblog form me and make ridiculous claims about how I’m a rapist now, I can’t actually reblog from avatarkadaj, presumably because that block is working. 

It may very well be that it’s just my blocks that are broken.

hey so I'm Jewish and I'm seeing this trend of Jewish people trying to defend the kissing scene in the Anne Frank House, with one of them literally saying "it doesn't matter what [we] think, because the people in charge of the House don't care" when... yes it bothers me that a goyische writer had a kissing scene take place in a very solemn place??? do you have any feelings on this or?

I consider it reprehensible goyishe tragedy porn, and that John Green tried to piggyback and parasite the very real human tragedy of Anne Frank’s fate in order to add emotional depth to his own story without having to engage in any effort on his part. 

Also, the people in charge of the House aren’t Jewish.  IIRC, there has never been a Jewish director of the House.  So it comes as very little surprise that those people saw nothing wrong with Green’s act of appropriation.
