In terms of work, the high bar is held high by universes with high mortality rates. In terms of home family?…Well, I'm not sure if Daishinkan has any favorites, but maybe it's Kus? She's the eldest of the siblings, and is something of a matriarch among them. I mean, Coos showed up before they did, he was teaching her everything. And then, when and if he was busy, he had her teach the rest of his kids. But for the most part, Daishinkan tries to give everyone the same attention

You say "Talsien gives Mojito his musical notes as the angel leaves to accompany his god of destruction" and my brain latches onto that like jeans on a doorknob

It's sweet and romantic, but now imagine that it looks like an association with a death song. Maybe Sidra doesn't care about Mojito's relationship, all that matters is that the angel works and doesn't screw him over, so he ignores the verse tests that Mojito holds in his hand during their teleportation journey. And when they arrive at the location, to certain planets for initial exploration, Mojito begins to sing. The angel follows his god, his songs traveling through space specifically for Talsien (only he can hear this wave, but people on the planet the gods are visiting can feel it? Or hear the quiet songs) while Sidra scrutinizes the state of the planet and its inhabitants, then with an expression of grief destroy it

If there are nomads on planets, and they move from planet to planet BEFORE Sidra visits, they create legends, warnings and rumors "if you see a tall blue humanoid with a staff and halo accompanied by interlocutor(wolves/Talsien/Ro/Angels/Sidra), then a song of death will follow".

For Talsien and Mojito these songs are expressions of love and affection, for the others it is a sign of impending death.

Whenever Mojito leaves to either visit his dad or ordered to destroy a planet, Taliesin leave him a paper of his poetry/music notes he uses and have Mojito to sing in space (Taliesin do hear him sing far away and what an angelic voice it is, he have fallen in love again) or Taliesin leaves a puzzle box or anything that have Mojito mentally simulated and less frustrated in general due to the incompetency of Universe 9 (like a distraction), also it's timed, set by Taliesin himself (he can't help to be mischievous).

Gold Amazon - Genderbend AU Brainstorming

See I have other AUs guys

Posting here some of the rambles I've done with @ectogusher / @doodlingwren and @awesomesauce2929 !

On this post, I'll be mainly focused on the gold saints -> Amazons.

ND Amazons -

I've only really got to think of Genderbend for only a handful of golds. And one of the main reasons to it is bc, I like to think that the 18th century is the first time Amazons make it to the highest ranking in Athena's army. Which translates into not all golds have been genderbent as a result;

The golds I have genderbent:

Shion;

Dohko;

Kaiser;

Deathtoll wouldn't be genderbent per se, it just means they would present themselves a lot more feminine leaning. They are still NB in essence, it's just the way they prefer to refer to themselves changes ever so slightly. DT also wouldn't be referring to themselves as an Amazon;

Historically speaking, Athena's army has always been really harsh on women, there's a very apparent bias to saints & male warriors (which becomes all the more apparent their trainings, with Amazons' feeling quite lackluster compared to their male counterparts.). So, the odds have almost always been stacked up against them.

Despite all the odds, for the very first time in the 18th century, at least 3 Amazons filled the shoes of the Army's elite. It was a huge leap and progress, but it still didn't bring in any immediate changes to the army's structure.

And even when Sanctuary had a woman as its Pope, something entirely new, in Shion. It also didn't mean she brought any significant changes, to the way Amazons/women were treated, even less tried to do anything about their trainings.

Suikyo would also have been genderbent into an Amazon, I'm just not touching on her here bc the focus rn is on Golds.

Classic

The 20th Century is the very first line up to be entirely filled out, by Amazons. Something that never happened before. Especially considering that, some of the girls were originally going to be drafted to the Saintia roles. BUT seeing there wouldn't be any men, to take on the role of saints. All the 20th century's appendixes were put into the role of Amazons.

Ironically, the first one that would bring any real changes would be none other than Saga, while she was disguised as the Pope. Utilizing her newfound position and power, she sought out to create a field that mainly benefitted herself above all else. But, it also ended up benefiting the other Gold Amazons.

Some changes included giving the girls ampler access to knowledge (letting them reach the same level as their counterparts), continue their trainings, give them more freedom/lee-way for themselves. Saga, whether she saw it coming or not, was crucial to elevate the amazons importance even though her motivations were selfish ones.

The Mask rule is still as crucial as ever for them. Going as far as for them having to cover their faces with anything, when they aren't wearing their cloths.

Some opt to wear headscarfs, whereas others tend to get creative with it (e.g.:Aldebaran keeps her motorcyclist helmet on almost at all times).

Omega

The 21st century saw the return of a handful saints amongst the high ranks, BUT considering how a good chunk of it were brought on board during Mars' reign. Former Mars followers find themselves in a grey area (but not for long, given that most of them were killed in the confrontation against Kouga and his friends).

Pope Harbinger in a way, follows Saga's steps to bring even bigger changes towards the amazons. Basically, expanding even more on what Saga may have started.

The Mask rule is still prevalent, especially for ceremonies and special dates, BUT it's no longer being as enforced as it once used to be.

Imagine the absurdity of it all, that when you're first told these names, the first thing you think of (when you're mentioned the names of the angel and the fox) is "Korn group" and some weird reference to the anime Attack of the Titans. When you eventually see a tall angel and a furry fox, you think it's either the gods are weird or you're the one go crazy

Liquor and liquorice : r/etymology - this page will explain the origins of each word and how they are not related to each other. However to note, Liquorice is the British spelling which uses the unrelated word liquor in whilst the American spelling of Liquorice which is Licorice is more much close to the Ancient Greek source (glukúrrhiza). More info - licorice - Wiktionary, the free dictionary Liqueur can be made from or based on liquorice, liquorice liqueur do exist, examples being Ricard (a liquorice and anise liqueur) and Koskenkorva Salmiakki (a salty liquorice liqueur).

Hello there, I hope you don't mind me asking two questions, you can ignore this ask if you don't want to answer it which is perfectly fine. If you want to change any angel-hakaishin pairing or angel-supreme kai pairing (different angel with different hakaishin or different angel with different supreme kai/kaioshin), who would it be? After the Merus incident, do you think Whis and Daishinkan's relationship is strained to what extent?

Angel - hakaishin-kaioshin. I've been thinking about this for a long time, and I have a little thought and headcanon for this part. It ties in with Camparri and his angelic goblin shark form, but I won't go into it too much.

It's more like I'm spouting off my headcanons in replies, but I'm too tired to think about it

Camparri supervised to oversee the 12th universe (whatever it was BEFORE the erasure of the other 6 universes) and all his hakaishin were water/sea monsters, perhaps he chose such creatures just for the sake of finding common ground with them and training them well in the abilities of the god of destruction. Jin, his last god he was familiar with, and he was his teacher before Zenon or Daishinkan conducted the change and replacement of angels in the universes and Camparri finds himself in universe 3, his place in universe 12 is taken by Martinu. ….Camparri, who may not have been in contact with high technology before, begins to slowly figure it out, and become interested. He and Air find common ground.

I have no thoughts on the rest of the kaioshin, they look like they belong where they belong.

The question is about Shin. The little dude is on the verge of a breakdown, he's tired physically and mentally. He needs a vacation as far away from his own universe as possible, or just step down as Kaioshin. After the death of his family, who divided the duties amongst themselves, with the main Kaioshin doing the main thing - creating life - Shin is not doing his job, he's alone, it would probably be easier if there was help from Old Kai, but he only hands out slaps and reads porn. One could imagine Shin returning to Makai for a meeting with Degesu and Arinsu to offer them to live with him in the outside world, but their refusal intensifies his mourning and bitterness .

He would step down as Kaioshin, but there's no one to replace him (regardless of the type of canon, how many Kaioshin are left)

Daishinkan sends Merus away for training

Whis comes to Daishinkan, clarifies about his brother, and asks him to give him up. For what? For training? I remember the pages where Vis interrupts Goku and Merus' training, takes him to Berus' planet, and from there they watch Goku and Moro fight. They literally do nothing and just watch. I don't understand what lesson Vis wanted to teach if he brushed off his brother by letting him disappear. Maybe I'm blind here and not seeing something important between the angels

With Berus, Whis was being manipulative. He sends Merus to Moro, but when he himself shows up with a hakaishin to observe on Earth, he creates leading visual questions and traps. Berus doesn't care about what's going on, but he doesn't want contact with Daishinkan. Why didn't Berus order Vis to stop Merus, since he knows about the angelic rules?

And when Merus disappears, Whis literally doesn't care about this “he was a stupid brother :(” thing. Dude, it's your ERROR AND FAULT!

And I think Daishinkan should be mad at Whis for losing his angelic offspring and sibling. He lost 6 of his children millions-billions of years ago, now he entrusts a new angel to another experienced angel, and loses him too. I hope Whis got some punishment for this, and not just Daishinkan smiling in his direction and saying “Merus disappeared as a space angel, but I turned him into a mortal”. Daishinkan should be feeling anger and frustration over Whis, fear at the loss of his younger angel. Perhaps he is experiencing this, but in a different emotional range. No more indulgences for Whis anytime soon, he will feel coldness from Father

After winthe 7th universe in the Tournament, Whis is acting too brazen and bold, I don't know what he was counting on in relation to what happened, that he would get away with it and Daishinkan would laugh at it?

There are soo many great villains but I guess one that stands out particularly is Simon (Simeon in the official translation) from Ace Attorney Investigation 2

He's such a good manipulator it's scary, but we also get what his childhood was like and it's hard to not feel a little bad for him too!

22: Do you want to cosplay as anyone?

Hmmmmm not really! I really admire ppl who DO cosplay, BUT I wouldn't feel well in a position of receiving an excessive amount of attention in public. Something that would 100% happen if I were cosplaying.

Although I did joke around with @ectogusher I'd cosplay as genderbent Aldebaran, if they cosplayed as genderbent Mu.

30: If I could make two characters interact more, who would they be?

My WORLD for ND's golds interacting with the ones from the 20th century! And Hell, I'd also LOVE if there had been anything like the classic golds interacting with the ones from Omega's setting (It's up for grabs, whether or not that would be prior or after Mars is defeated). I just think it would be neat to see Harbinger, Integra and Fuudo interact with their predecessors.

An AU/Alternate universe you've been plotting for: that is such a good question. I have a lot of AUs with my friends about our silly DnD characters 😂 mostly we plot these alternative universes because we often have to postpone our campaign sessions, but we still need to do something Dungeon and Dragons related (everyone is busy or somewhere else during summer). I don't have much going on regarding tv shows or similar because I'm not a writer, and coming up with ideas is a bit difficult. Or better. It's difficult if I have to express them by only writing them, instead of, well, drawing them. If this was a "what comics are you working on at the moment" I would have a lot more to say 😲😳
