📌 Igreja de São Lourenço de Almancil - Algarve
A falakat és a mennyezetet teljes egészében csempe borítja, amely egy igazi remekmű, amely Szent Lőrinc életének epizódjait és más vallási részeket illusztrálja. A csempepaneleket Policarpo de Oliveira Bernardes, a 18. század egyik legjelentősebb csempemestere tervezte.
Az almancili São Lourenço templom az egyik legjobb példa a portugál csempékre, amelyeket a vallási építészetben alkalmaznak. Történelmi és művészeti értéke miatt minden Algarve-ba látogató számára kihagyhatatlan úti cél, nemcsak vizuális hatása miatt, hanem a tablóin és szobrain keresztül elmesélt történet miatt is.

The Shah-i-Zinda is a necropolis that grew around the legendary grave of Qutham ibn Abas, a cousin of the prophet Muhammad. From the late 14th century onwards, Amir Timur ordered the construction of various mausoleums for mainly his female relatives. The result is a small city for the dead, covered with magnificent blue tile mosaics in various Islamic geometric patterns.
