when you step right out of a scalding lava shower & rush to dry yourself off with bare minimum effort before them skin holes close back up & you get the icy hot gel on your aching geriatric spine trapped in your millennial-aged skin suit & the fuckin’ spiciness hits

& you’re like shroedinger’s human for a blissfully painful five minutes of being wet & dry & sweltering & frigid where the icy hot is hittin’ you like the dermatological equivalent of a carolina reaper & minty freshness making sweet sweet love all across your back

& for those five minutes it’s all magically better until it wears off but we’re not thinking about that right now
