oh i’d love to see a (gothic) horror piece!! i’ve been thinking about cosmic horror/bliss a lot in recent months, so i wouldn’t mind peeking over there 👀 (esp bc the setting you’ve proposed sounds suuuuper interesting!!)

the part about always wanting to do more is so real though, i feel like i have to start climbing my furniture bc i’m swimming in drafts and new ideas ㅠㅠ unfortunately i’m the only person on this planet who hasn’t seen gravity falls, and my friend has yelled at me in shock for it, so i can’t really comment on that (except that i’m happy you’re excited for it) but i have played stardew valley and it’s so funny you mention a bnha x sdv au bc this is what’s floating at the top of my tumblr drafts atm

(it’s not a real au though atm, just some hcs what some of their roles would be in a farming sim)

dinner with friends sounds like such a good rewards, genuinely, and so do treating yourself to sth good to eat/drink!! tbh, until i read the question on the ask game, i never thought about rewarding myself for finishing a piece, so far my reward has been a moment of relief hshsh but now i really wanna think about something to celebrate my efforts!! ^^

👻 Is there a new genre you’d like to write?

There’s nothing I have a particular plan for, at the moment (though the year’s still young!! 🥹), but I’d love to do either a proper slasher Horror fic orrrrr get my teeth into a Gothic/Southern Gothic Horror. So basically just some kind of Horror, lmao. Maybe something Gothic-Horror adjacent with vampires?? Fall of the House of Usher retelling, maybe… with vampires. Idk!! I have a few vague ideas rattling around, but nothing that’s either strong enough to stand up as it’s own fic, at the moment, or strong enough to beat out my current obsessions. But like I said!! The year’s still young. 🥹 If I wasn’t constrained to making it a vehicle for BNHA shenanigans, I’d do something Vampire: the Masquerade-ish. Like, something very American, ancient Mexican vampire sires turfing with a new gang of LA socialites (tech bro vampire 🤢 insufferable). I meannnn, I guess we could make that work within a Japanese setting… hmm. We’ll circle back.

🫘 Spill the beans. What’s a new project you’re doing this year?

The only new stuff I want for myself this year (that I’m determined to make happen) is my Gravity Falls ideas—beyond that it’s just the Shouto fic and the one-shot collection for surrender. 🥹 There’s always like, more that I wanna do, but if i had to be brutal and prioritise then those would be the ones that make the list for 2025. SAYING THAT, depending on what kind of headway I make with the GF stuff, I have been toying with a stardew valley/BNHA AU idea—but that’s like a very distant fifth place atm. 🥹

🥳 How are you going to celebrate when you achieve one of your writing goals?

HMMM. I’m not sure!! When I finish the Shouto fic I think I will demand that my friends meet me for dinner somewhere fancy, lmao. Or maybe buy myself a fancy cake and sit on the floor and eat it like a little grub LMAO. I wanna mark it, though! All my other goals are like, “finish chapter” (i try to take them one at a time), and my way of celebrating hitting that is just to get myself a mcflurry from maccas lmao.
