.𖥔  ݁  ˖🕊️˚.  ᵎᵎ                JUDITH  FLORENCE  SONG  (  SONG  YUNHUI;  송윤희  )  was  born  in  OAKLAND,  CALIFORNIA  on  October  04,  1991.  She  was  born  the  second  oldest  and  second  daughter  of  the  late  DANIEL  INSIK  SONG  and  HYEIN  PARK.  In  total,  she  has  three  siblings,  including  her  twin  brother.  Her  father  passed  away  in  the  summer  of  2002,  when  Judith  was  11.

Judith  was  homeschooled  until  she  began  middle  school,  attending  school  in  Oakland  for  only  six  weeks  before  her  family  moved  to  South  Korea.  Later,  she  attended  JINMYEONG  GIRLS’  HIGH  SCHOOL.  From  2013  to  2016,  she  attended  KOREA  NATIONAL  UNIVERSITY  OF  ARTS,  obtaining  a  bachelor’s  degree  in  musicology  (and  in  recent  interviews,  she’s  experienced  a  desire  to  continue  her  studies).

In  January  of  2010,  Judy—now  going  by  Yunhui—auditioned  for  HEARTROT  MEDIA’s  upcoming  girl  group.  Luckily,  she  passed  the  audition  and  was  added  to  the  line-up.  A  year  after  her  acceptance,  she  moved  to  the  HRM  dorms  in  Mapgo.  During  her  seven  years  as  a  trainee,  Judith  had  made  a  name  for  herself,  appearing  in  several  DELLA  music  videos—most  notably  the  music  video  for  MARSHMALLOW.  Additionally,  she’s  helped  write  many  HRM  artists'  songs.

the comeback is looming ever nearer and the excitement in the air is palpable.

soon, the announcement will be made to the public, and the fans can anticipate their return to active promotions. it's only been a few months since the last time they stood on stage and greeted their fans with a new song, but to joohyun, it feels like it's been ages. before she even debuted, she'd always known how much she's loved the stage, but it wasn't until she had to wait between releases that she realized just how much.

the fact that they're learning the choreography to their sibling song only makes the wait that they have left seem even longer. within the same breath, though, it also helps stave off some of that anxious energy, expending it by putting her all into quickly learning the moves and perfecting them, because as much as she knows perfection cannot be achieved, and it's what's led to her darkest hours before, she can't help but still try and strive for it.

predictably, the choreography for trap isn't as intensive as the choreography for their title song, but it still requires skill and timing that she can't just brush off. the use of props in the microphone stands is a different twist, which she enjoys---she's always loved microphone choreography, though she's never been able to pinpoint why---and once the stands are ditched, the choreography becomes more dynamic.

again, the style is different than what she's used to, but as a dancer, she believes that anyone can fit any style as the fundamentals are mostly the same. sure, perhaps a hip hop dancer with no formal training may look stiff doing ballet, and perhaps a ballerina with only strict training may look too rigid trying to do hip hop, but with a bit of practice, things like that can be overcome.

so she focuses hard on practicing, on getting everything right, trying to reach the pinnacle of perfection, not because she wants to be perfect, but because she believes it's what the fans deserve, and she can't wait to greet them with her new and improved self.
