Oops, I actually have a lot of feelings on the DPxDC tagging discourse...
Just complaining under the cut
First thing I want to complain about: not a fan of the "we were here first" argument from some of the Danny Phantom people. What do you mean "we"? I watched Danny Phantom on TV when it was airing on. I also watched Batman The Animated Series when it was rerunning. If this was the same account I had a decade ago, there'd be posts from me from 2015 talking about both The Batman and Danny Phantom and how cool it would be for Danny to be in the Teen Titans.
"We were here first"
Yeah, We! You and Me!
It feels like you're trying to deliberately separate me from something I love. Like you're deliberately cutting out people who enjoy the same thing you do because they don't enjoy it the same way.
Oh, and uh, fuck that one person specifically who did math poorly and is upset that AO3 has DPxDC fics. "Over 30% of DP fics are DPxDC" So you want there there to be 30% fewer fics!?! You want there to be 30% fewer people who enjoy Danny Phantom enough to write fics about it? That is what you're asking for. You want there to be fewer people to talk to about Danny Phantom, fewer people to share ideas with and expand lore with and talk shit with. You don't want someone else loving something you love because they're loving it wrong, and it just feels icky.
As an aside, I've said before and I will say again, but the naming conventions in Danny Phantom.... Danny Phantom is the main character's name. Like, I barely get around this by tagging the character as Danny Fenton, but sometimes, that's an entirely different character! So, if someone wants to tag the character but not the fandom, what do they do? Other people have pointed out that Danny Phantom is the Umbrella tag that covers the entire Phandom, while DPxDC is a sub-fandom, a small part of the fandom whole.
Also, second side question, if someone new to the fandom shows up, and sees no DPxDC, and then starts trying to make DPxDC content, are they going to get dogpiled out of the Phandom completely? Is their first interaction with other fans going to be "get the fuck out of here, we don't want you here"? Is that the kind of fandom we want? (I say, as if this is a hypothetical and people haven't gotten into Danny Phantom from DPxDC and are now being told the fandom doesn't want them)
I don't want to be mean, I barely even think it's a good idea to mention, but if you really, really can't handle DPxDC, then maybe you should take a break from the fandom? It's not fair, you shouldn't have to leave your own fandom, but you are the one having a hard time curating your own experience. Like, I personally, hate OCs, absolutely disdain them, but the Phandom is full of OCs. Literally every day there's a new OC bending the reality of the canon to make space for them. But, instead of kicking up a fuss about it, I ignore them. To me OC are for other people, this thing I don't like that will never be separate from something I love, and I have the ability to recognize that and move on. If you can't do that, can't block the people you hate or ignore the posts you don't like, you might just not be mature enough to handle being a fandom this big. It might be best for you to pick out a few friends and have your own little space to talk Danny Phantom away from the fandom at large.
"Well, why can't you do that with DPxDC? Have your own place and leave the Phandom at large alone?" This isn't equivalent. DP is still DP whether it's attached to xDC or not. See above comment on Umbrella Terms and Sub-Fandoms.
Low-key, DPxDC is a little too big to cut off now. If this conversation happened 5 years ago, when it was just the occasional Danny Phantom x Teen Titans fic, you could have reached out to everyone, got a conciseness, but now, it's toothpaste that can't be put back into the bottle. Unfortunately, this is what the Phandom looks like now, whether you like it or not, we cannot return to a simpler time before everything got out of hand, we can only adapt to the way it is now.

Neema: My eye has quite a few uses to it, other than being another place to see from. Though my 'gem' is an eye, it holds the very same functions of my species, through my father's lineage it's more in tune than normal; yet not by much I must say. It can sense disasters, both man-made and natural ones as well. A nice skill that could be used to keep others safe if the need be. Even the intent of others is something that can be easily sensed with my eye. Considering how many Pokemon I've seen to find myself meeting it's well and good to know if anyone means any ill-will towards me.
I've been told that we also possess the ability to prophesies the future, but I haven't had the reason for such a thing like that yet.
I thank you for your question though, my dear, it's always nice to inform others of their curiosities.

Hai pal >w> its me cutiemaso but I changed account (Not sure if you remember me XDc) Can I request a fic? I want me some seasick Yurio ~ He went on a cruise with all the skaters but he's the only one who can't enjoy it ;c
Hey friend! Sorry that this took me so long to write!
Sick Days 27: Water
“Yuri, why are you hiding back here?” Otabek asks, crouching down beside the table that Yuri is surreptitiously sitting under.
The sudden question makes Yuri jump, hitting his head on the bottom of the table. “Ouch!” he hisses angrily, rubbing at the newly sore spot on the top of his head. “You can’t just sneak up on people like that!”
“If you weren’t hiding down here, I wouldn’t have to,” Otabek points out. He notices Yuri rubbing at his sore head. “Are you okay?”
“I’m-hic-fine!” Yuri snaps irritably, green eyes narrowing. “I’m just getting away from those sickening lovebirds. Urp!” He covers his mouth too late to even partially stifle the loud burp that punctuates his sentence.
“I see,” Otabek says, his face it’s usual stoic mask. He notes the greenish tint to Yuri’s face, and the way he keeps swallowing convulsively. “Seasick?”
“Of course not!” Yuri replies instantly. “I’m perfectly fine! Boats don’t bother me at all!” He pauses for another burp. “Lunch just isn’t sitting well, that’s all. Probably because they ordered such crappy food.”
Otabek raises an eyebrow, which disappears behind his dark hair. “Yuri, you barely ate anything at lunch. Besides, the food was excellent.”
Yuri swallows hard, his face paling a little. “Ugh, can we please not talk about food right now? You’re making it w-worse!” A loud gurgle from his stomach has Yuri doubling over in pain, clapping his hands over his mouth in distress.
Fortunately, Otabek seems to sense his panic, and helps Yuri to his feet (miraculously avoiding another collusion with the table), steering him out of the cabin and to a deserted area of the boat near the rail.
Yuri’s stomach holds out just long enough for him to stick his head out over the water; then he’s heaving, bringing up what little lunch he’d been able to stomach, along with bile and stomach acid that tears up his throat and makes his eyes water. He’s vaguely aware of Otabek’s hand resting between his shoulders, rubbing in soothing circles, as his other hand holds back Yuri’s long blonde hair.
It takes several minutes of dry heaving for Yuri’s stomach to finally accept that it’s empty. As soon as he’s granted a reprieve, Yuri slides down so that he’s sitting with his back to the rail. His shoulders slump miserably and his hair, free from Otabek’s grip, hangs listlessly around his shoulders.
Yuri jerks his head up, startled, when Otabek nudges his shoulder. “Cheer up,” the older skater suggests. “I’m going to go ask the staff if they have any Dramamine. In the meantime, just try to breathe in the fresh air. It should help a little.”
Closing his eyes, Yuri gives a tiny nod. He brings his knees up to his chest and wraps his arms around them, trying to breathe through the residual nausea. His long hair dangles around his face, shielding it from view. This was not how he’d hoped for this trip to go.
He’s never setting foot on a boat again.
