💧Working with #AllInTheMindFestival this year is amazing for me for so many reasons. The one that means the most, one is like to tell you about, is because I have mental health issues. When I was 18, I was diagnosed with #BorderlinePersonalityDisorder. For me this means extreme anxiety, heightened emotions, depression, and 2 years ago I developed a pseudo voice that I hear. I take medication everyday, and cannot work properly in society. It’s difficult, I am very fearful of life sometimes and the boundaries I overcome each day are hard, but I do get there in the end. Art is my main therapy, and it’s cathartic result is what helps me retain a balance mentally and emotionally. It helps me survive. To be able to contribute visually to a festival that aims to inform and support those who have mental health issues, and also especially for those people who support us through our difficult times - I am very proud of our project, and am very humbled and thankful.
