hi bea!! first of all, happy new year to you too! 💞 i did 💡 here already but:

🔪 which project challenged you more than you expected?

the jbb fic, which is not out yet but i spent a good while this year working on it! it was much longer than anything i'd written before so i really struggled to write the last chapter and wrap everything up in a satisfying way

💬 what dialogue are you most proud of?

probably the part in "talking on the ride home" where sirius and regulus are talking and regulus says he thinks there's something wrong with him OR maybe the conversation james and regulus have in chapter 6 of mariah carey, mistletoe and other christmas cliches... this is tough though bc one of my favorite parts of writing is the dialogue

“What the absolute fuck James, you don’t even know who that text was from,��� she shouts an octave to loudly for their current conversation, but she opts to blame that on the wine and not the racing in her heart that has no doubt been caused by the recent notification.

⛔ Do you have a fic you started, but scrapped?

so many. so so so many.

the most complete one that I abandoned is probably the one I was writing for the monster fest, a mermaid/siren idea that @veryinnovative gave me. it wasn't super long and mostly was smut tbh but I didn't end up finishing it </3 other ones I can think of off the top of my head was an omegaverse fake dating au, and the prongsfoot wedding fic @magswrite and I started and never finished

💖 What made you start writing?

I feel like at a pretty young age (4th grade maybe?) I got complimented on my creative writing and as a child I loved having a Thing™ that I could make my entire personality and so writing became that for years.

what got me started writing fic was in 6th grade I hyperfixated on a dance crew from americas next best dance crew and I would just spend my days googling the members names and clicking on articles and such, and one of the times a fanfic came up, and I read it and was hooked. I read all the ones I could find for the guys then was like hey. I could do this. and that's where it began <3 my sister still mentions the time she found a story about one of the guys returning from war on my laptop. idk why I wrote that.

Headcanon featured: toddler drones know how to walk on their own. That being said, the actual act of walking is drastically different. Turns out gravity is not their friend anymore, which sucks because they’re trying to get a hang of this new thing called “balancing.”
