Internet is adorable! I love it every time you post a comic! How did Donnie and the whole family react when she was hatching!?

Internet hatched early in the morning when everyone else was still asleep so Donnie was the only one around when she actually hatched!

The whole family was really excited though! The lair had been pretty tense for the past few weeks as they got closer to Nettie's hatch date as they waited for her to actually hatch. They were all very excited but Splinter insisted that Donnie get a few days alone with his daughter before being introduced to the chaos that is their family so they did meet Nettie briefly after she first hatched but then Donnie and Nettie got to spend some time alone

2012 TMNT TRANS DONNIE + LEO HEADCANONS

When splinter bought his pet turtles he bought three males and one female, when they mutated into little mutant turtles he named them Leonardo, Raphael, Artemisia, and Michelangelo

Little Artemisia grows up and she’s so mad that she can’t be a ninja and that she has to be a kunoichi she decides that she is also going to be a ninja and so she asks Leo to teach her how to be a ninja

Artemisia changes his name to Donatello and tells his brothers he’s a boy now and they’re all like 10 so they don’t care and just accept that they have another brother now

Donnie tells Splinter that he’s a boy and Splinter is confused but thinks that the person he bought the turtles from at the pet shop must have given him four male turtles instead of three males and one female so he goes ok I guess I have four sons now

When they’re sixteen Leo starts feeling uncomfortable in his skin and after some gender exploration comes to the realization that she’s a girl. She comes out to Donnie first who finds the whole thing funny

Leo changes her name to Leona and then tells her father than she’s a girl. Splinter now thinks that the pet shop owner must have been right and had given him three Mae turtles and one female but he mixed up which one was female in the confusion and chaos of being mutated.

Splinter doesn’t realize two of his kids are trans and just thinks they’re cis but had gender changes because of gender mix ups and because telling the sex of a turtle is really hard before they reach sexual maturity.
