Caracalla lost everybody close to him (father figure and twin brother) on the same day, both technically by his own doing, but doesn't even remember half of that anyway, and is now desperate to keep at least one person around, still. he might not even remember his own screaming voice demanding her crucifixion due to her betrayal. and if he does, he clearly wants to take it back and keep her alive and around him. in terms of human companions, she's all he has left. except for Macrinus, of course, but he's still new and another father figure, unable to fill that gaping hole Caracalla's real mother has presumably left and Lucilla is going to leave if she dies. but since Macrinus has the emperor wrapped around his little finger already, just a few words from him convinced Caracalla that this was, in fact, necessary and the only way; thus, sealing Lucilla's fate.

You mentioned some time ago that Sam could be in talks for an Australian film role, do you know if that is still in the cards? Could IWTV not having a set filming schedule have complicated things? It seems like they're filming each season in a different time of the year and Season 3 production is probably more complicated for him because he has to record a lot of music with Daniel Hart.

Oh! You have a good memory, anon, haha. I actually met with that producer last week (I went to a test/feedback screening for a new theatrical documentary she's making, and then we had a creative meeting about a project I might be working on with her), and it potentially is? That film's been delayed due to financing issues and the fact that they have to shoot it in a certain window of time (the plot needs a certain plant to be in season in a big way, so it's basically been pushed back to the end of the year now). I did actually ask her because I'm nosey, and she mentioned that he hasn't passed on it yet, so the director is still hopeful, because he wants Sam. They have now gone out to another actor though too, who's prooobably a bigger name then Sam internationally? So that might have an impact, especially as they're still trying to close finance.

It'd be fun if he did it though! I was notetaker at a table read for it and it's a really good script!

From October 1st 2024 to May 30th 2025, I'll be working on my first ever manuscript!!

I'm so thrilled and the only reason this was possible was because 18 year old me decided to scroll on Tiktok instead of study for APs resulting in me finding the Rising Son and growing an interest in scripting.

I don't know what it is about the Rising Son that made me love scripting as I've ready many scripts before, but none made me feel more than the Rising Son. And, for that, I'm forever grateful.

One thing I know for sure is that I owe the next year of my life to @ara-george and Casper August Knight and every wonderful person who worked or was apart of the Rising Son.

I've been here for a week but honestly. The only complaint I have about the Gladiator fandom that's emerged out of thin air is that I wish you guys did less bi erasure. For real. Please. It kind of actually hurts.

Not even tagging this because I don't want to stir shit but seeing it over and over and over just really rubs it in how people don't see bisexuality (or pansexuality) as valid orientations or expressions of one's orientation. There's only straight and gay.
