i think what people don't quite get about why watching qcellbit streams was so interesting (aside from that he's smart and hot and interesting as a person) is that he was the conduit for so much federation + larger island lore for a long time. like if you wanted to know what mysteries were going on with the whole island and not just individual character lore, his streams were where you could watch it for the most part. obviously other characters did investigations and looked into various things, but if you wanted the biggest, most comprehensive picture of qsmp server lore as a whole, you could get it on cellbit's streams. his pov was the dedicated pov for finding shit out, that was his role in the meta-narrative.
im like begging fandom to understand that there's religious trauma that exists outside catholicism and even christianity broadly and also that flat unconvincing portrayals of religious trauma do not add to character dynamics they often just make characters seem ridiculous
She shakes off the gratitude. This is about keeping their children safe. And besides that, they have a lot more to do. She won’t rest until the Federation is rubble on the ground and they’re able to leave the island.
“You know, Cucurucho has a bad habit of leaving the pilot on when he leaves at night,” Niki murmurs to Mouse, watching Empanada dig into a slice of strawberry shortcake. “Would be a shame if an accident happened sometime.”

Niki finds out exactly what the Federation has been putting in their baked goods and decides that she won't let them have a hold on the eggs.
a q!niki piece for german week for @qsmp-month! thank you to tides for organizing the whole event!!
the progression of qsmp is actually so fucking funny like. imagine your goal is to create a multicultural smp where people can interact across languages and build new connections and you achieve that but in the process you also activate parental instincts in a bunch of twitch streamers and now they're addicted to taking care of minecraft babies
