Rin meets someone new and they introduce themself as 20 and she thinks "wow that's baby age..."

Thistle would probably be the most reasonable one to think like that though. Kabru and Rin were older by the time the elves took them in (6 and however old Rin was, at least 7)

Post canon dunmeshi like mmm a decade later, Thistle is recovered enough due to Mithrun saying what works and what doesn't work yadda yadda plot hole plot hole

So Mithrun is like "it'd probably be good for him to get out and adventure. It helped me." And some argue against that but Falin says it'd be fun to have a travel buddy.

Cue Thistle and Falin shenanigans.

Thistle also gets history lessons on what he missed during him 1000 years of trapping himself in the dungeon. Falin and him go to museums and such.

Do you guys think, during the last few months-years of Delgals life, he drank a lot? Thistle remembers it enough for it to be something he thinks about when he finds out Delgal wished for his death.

The last two panels are obviously from his POV, so he was standing behind Delgal watching him drink. Delgal seems unaware, so he was probably spying on him. Delgal looks stressed out (?) so I wouldn't be surprised if this was him trying to calm down via alcohol.

And then Yaad chooses not to drink, despite not having that low of an alcohol tolerance. Maybe it's just his age (which I interpret as still a child so 12-15, maaaybe 16-18), but this was also 1000 years ago? Alcohol isn't treated the same as it was then compared to OUR world, or hell, our world vs the present day of Dunmeshi's world. I'm sure drinking at that age was considered normal for them.

So anyways what I'm trying to get at is Yaad probably had to watch his grandfather drink a lottt too. 🙁

Based on how the panel was drawn, I assume he doesn't become violent or mean when drunk, just kinda sad... Sad to watch anyways
