LOOKISM'S TIMELINE (WITH EDIT DOWN BELOW)

Hello, my fellow Lookism readers! I made a Lookism timeline based on my understanding of the plot, as I struggle to go through it in my head over and over again because it gets confusing as the story goes on.

I write a fanfiction based on Lookism, and I wanted to get the timeline as accurate as possible, so if you're going to add/ correct me in some details, I'll happily accept it!

I am posting it to get help because my brain cells couldn't handle fixing the timeline based on the backstories of the characters anymore. (I haven't re-read Lookism in so long, and the backstories are jumbled. That's why it was harder to do this because fixing the timeline is messing with my head.)

Here's what I made:

Note:

Main Cast: Daniel, Allied, and his friends from J High are 17 years old as first-year high school students. Gun and Goo are a year older together with Samuel and Jake (16 when the 4MC is formed). James Lee is older than Gun and Goo (21-22). The first generation kings are a bit older than James (23 or above).

Hi guys! I'm here to correct a mistake I made! So I went back to Ep. 497: Cheonliang (16) and realized Jichang's fall and James attacking the Kings happened at the same time.

Also, Vin Jin might be (14-15— I'm just clarifying this because I just decisively said 15 on the first box. I just don't think he could be 15 by that time because shortly after, Jichang fought the 22-year-old Gitae Kim, who was 7 years older than Jake Kim, and that makes Jake 15 y/o when Jichang and Gitae fought. Take note that Jake Kim is a year older than Daniel and the others.)

Here's the correct events: (From: Third Box, 1st Row above)

In Ep. 496: Cheonliang (15), Gun's statement implies that James Lee has already killed Gapryong by this time (by his appearance in Cheonliang, Gapryong is already dead).

James Lee entered his training arc. (This is from the fifth box on the first row, but is moved to the fourth.)

James Lee sends Gitae Kim to overthrow Jichang Kwak as the King of Seoul while simultaneously attacking the King of Ansan, Taesoo Ma. (Attacks on KOS and KOA happened at the same time— proven in Ep. 497 where Gitae calls James to say he was finished.)

Gitae Kim goes back to Mexico, with James being the one to get him his plane tickets.

Jichang Kwak gets banished to Chungcheong Province after being dethroned from his position.

James then proceeds to go after the other 1st Generation Kings, entering a new era.

Nichole listens to R&B, Lofi, J-Pop and K-Pop. I've been listening to Emotional Oranges and imagining her listening to that so that's been fun

Nichole's favorite games are Baldur's Gate 3, the old Dragon Age games, and Stardew Valley, among some others.

Bigggg anime nerd and collects merch like figurines, posters, cards, etc. It was hardcore when she was a teen but its died down a bit as she's gotten older. She's still crazy for it, though.

Her gaming room is one of those super decked out with a whole custom PC setup that you'd see on pinterest, along with her collection lining the shelves behind her + her board game collection.

Huge cosplay nerd. She goes all out whenever she goes out to conventions, and often ends up winning or being a runner up at cosplay contests.

this chapter was so sick and twisted. gun once again exhibiting and flaunting his incomprehension of human misery and attributing victory and defeat to strength in the form of violence and killing.

eli dreaming himself "cleansed" of his sins, imagining olly not in his dreadful garb of a crewhead, but innocent and pure, just like the day they had met each other. fantasizing how domesticity has turned him into a better man.... only for that domestic utopia to be an illusion of a man who can never fully escape from his past and the guilt and shame that comes with it.

the inherent self-destruction in revenge being delineated by jake. he's unable to become "whole" again, a person complete with purpose and reason, despite having the man he fought against the whole world for back by his side. the helplessness and humiliation and suffocation in becoming a vessel of revenge, a revenge that leaves you fractured and gutted like fish instead of cathartic.

how big deal showing how they would choose jake again and again, despite everything he does to both himself and to them, no matter what he puts them through, even if jake chooses others over them. and their unconditional love baffling jake in turn.

Lookism Ending

When the mystery of the two bodies end and Charles Choi is finally defeated, I want lookism to go back to the old lookism era where everyone is being silly and doing dumb shits (like Jacedaichi arc or Seonong goes to Seoul arc) and finally pursuing a career as they'll be an adult.

Yenna will be in kindergarten! maybe Zack will gain enough courage to ask Mira out and he'll become the official best boxer of the world, honestly I want to see them getting married (⁠ ⁠ꈍ⁠ᴗ⁠ꈍ⁠), Zoe will probably ask Daniel out too (⁠ ⁠╹⁠▽⁠╹⁠ ⁠),Jay won't feel lonely anymore , all of his businesses will be successful(⁠ ⁠´⁠◡⁠‿⁠ゝ⁠◡⁠`⁠), Vin wouldn't be scared to walk outside without his sunglasses and only wear them when it's a sunny day or two avoid unnecessary attraction, I hope he becomes a better person- and will apologise to Duke for what he did. LOOKISM SPOILERS AHEAD!

Gun escaped from Japan with his mother's help; he looks pretty young when it happened, I'd say around 13 to 14. After getting smuggled, he was able to meet Gapryong Kim in Busan, who was about to see his disciple. Gapryong gave him some advice, something around the words "he'll be safe," and that was in prison, where he spent his time training before he met Charles Choi, who was a cleaner at the prison at that time. Now, I'm not kinda sure about their age, but here's what I know:

The main story started when Daniel was 17

Gun said he was preparing for the GED when he encountered Daniel at the School Festival. (GED takers are usually 18 years old in SK)

Gun was called "Senior" by Woojin and his gang, back in the episode where Namsoo (the guy Zack ordered to buy him shoes online) was scammed. A senior's age was around 18 years.

The back story of Big Deal was three years ago, when the main characters of J High were in their 2nd Year of high school. Meaning when they were first years, it was from two years ago.

So 18 minus 2 is 16. Gun was 16 when they started going after the gangs in Gangseo, along with Goo, Samuel, and Jake.

Since Gun Park was 16 when he was forming the 4MC, and before that, he trained with Tom Lee together with Goo Kim, he was most likely in prison when he was 14-15.

Additional:

Sinu Han was 19 in the Big Deal Arc

James Lee was 18 when he went after Shinmyeong Cheon (The Shaman from Cheonliang)

The First Generation Kings were 19-20 at the time of Cheonliang Arc; they were 1 to 2 years older than James. Taesoo Ma's age was confirmed to be 23 years old when he first appeared.

Gitae Kim was 7 years older than Jake. He was 22 when he dethroned Jichang Kwak as the King of Seoul. Meaning, Jake was only 15 by this time, and he hadn't met Jason and Brad yet.

So I was bothering my friend discussing lookism lore, and the topic of where the where Daniel's second body came up and honestly she was stupefied.

Honestly, these last few chapters have really gotten me thinking about the mystery surrounding the two bodies and my own thoughts as to where Big Daniel came from (especially with the most recent chapter). I have a few ideas on the 2nd body, but overall, I'm not that sure. Any theories?

Ugh, here we go again. You have been turning him down almost everyday now, yet here he is again.

"How many times do I have to say no?" You say angrily.

He lunges his hand towards you, you instantly move back and slap him. As a reflex action. Jake has taught you self defence tricks. You never thought you would be using them.

You get up from your leg press machine and go towards Jake.

"Hey, hey listen!" Says the man behind you, following you.

He's not much tall. Muscular build and not that good looking.

Jake is working on his back today. His huge, sexy, v tapered back, with those sexy tattooes.

You touch his shoulder to divert his attention.

"Yes, my little cupcake?" He says in english, smirking. His english has been getting better.

"That man is flirting with me. I told him no so many times, then he tried to grab my hand." You say pointing towards him.

Jake drops the weights, abruptly. They make a thudding sound.

You're startled.

"How long has this been happening? Why didnt you tell me?" He says in a soft but in his deep sexy voice.

That deep voice turns you on. All the time. Its irresistable. This whole man is. You just want to melt in his arms. His huge hands, his tattooed forarms. This man is it.

He looks at you. He gets up and walks to the guy who's been flirting with you. Jake so taller than him. They talk for a few seconds and they both together go outside.

You sit and wonder where they went. Today was your gym date, with Jake.

A few minutes later Jake comes back alone, you had feared this. That was why you didnt tell him before.

Jake comes to you. You see a tiny fleck of blood on his cheek.

"What did you do?" You ask him anxiously.

Jake pulls you into a hug. A warm tight hug. You and your worries just melt right there.

"You're strong. You slapped him. That hurt him bad actually. You are totally my type. I knew I was with the right one." He whispers in your ear.

"I-I" you try to speak, but your mind isnt working. Jake's scent. You can smell it. You have mad desire to bite him.

He puts his hand on your back and other under your thighs and lifts you up.

"Jake what are you doing? There are people here." You ask embarrassed and totally red in the face.

"Taking you home, my lady." Jake says looking at you smiling.

You know whats coming, you just look away completely red in the face.
