Y'all wanna know what's still kinda bananas to me? We just now finally have a Denisovan skull. That wouldn't be earth-rending, if it weren't for the fact that up to this point we've only known of their existence through very scattered and fragmentary fossils and DNA evidence, so to have a skull finally pop up, and it be 100% a Denisovan is just mindblowing to a paleoanthropology enthusiast.

I know I sound like such a knucklehead asking this, but I really don't think I'll feel better unless I get feedback on this: Is it okay for me to like Scarlet and Violet? Ever since I've come to terms on its faults I've felt like an idiot for liking it, or more accurately "a blind Pokemon shill" and I just want to know what others will say on this.

Hyperfixiations are fun because sometimes you get two at the same time that couldn't be more opposite in what they are. Like just recently, it's Over the Garden Wall and Antonblast. One's a spooky dramatic miniseries with tons of metaphors to it, and the other is a goofy, cartoony video game who's M-O is basically go fast and scream at the world like the angry man you are.

CHAT. THIS IS NOT A DRILL, I FINALLY GOT A SHINY POKEMON! In all my 13 years of playing Pokemon games, never have I ever once ran into a shiny in the wild, well aside from that one shiny Onix I don't like to talk about, but now, i actually caught one!

It's a shiny Spinda, and their name's Lloyd. Ain't he precious? He's my little one in a million :>

I can't believe I'm saying this but... Thanks to the Teraleak, I've been writing a Pokemon fanfic for the first time ever. I think it'd be quite different compared to what's usually offered in terms of Pokemon fanfics, as it's going to be more like an in-universe folktale than something like a retelling of a Main-Line game. Keep your eyes peeled for that! (DON'T WORRY I'M NOT GONNA WRITE ANY FREAKY SHIT.)
