Some things that I feel need to be said

It has recently come to my attention that I've developed a "well-known" negative reputation amongst tumblr artists for what was basically "art-begging" and being a complete man-bitch when people didn't comply, and I wanted to clear up this reputation thing. While I'm not necessarily asking all of you to befriend me, I don't want us to be enemies and at least have a mutual respect for each other.

For the past year or so, I've been writing this graphic novel (which is vaguely Sentai-esque), but have not been able to find an artist. Now, back in 2012 I didn't even know what commissions were or how they worked, so I just randomly asked people on DA "Hey wanna draw this comic I'm working on?" Yes, it was stupid, but I honestly had no idea how the whole art community works. To an extent I'm still learning how it works.

Eventually (around August/September), I got more active on tumblr so I could follow artists who were no longer active on DA, or at least not as active. I would commonly ask people for their skype (still do, it's my personal choice of online communication), and ask them if they'd draw my comic as a request or for like, idk, steam games or something. Why steam games? Because Mitaknight allows you to do commissions with Steam games and I was under the assumption that anyone with Steam would accept that, and the loophole or sales would basically be me getting commissions for less than what they were. Of course, people refused, I threw a shit-fit, I angsted to them for a bit, then they removed me.

A lot of things were going on in my life while this was going on. School was starting up again along with studying for the SATs, and I guess I subconsciously needed someone to vent at and get my mind off of the main issues. Another bad assumption I had was that most tumblr artists only did art as a "hobby" and not as a "job," except those who are in the professional business.

I was really, really, stupid concerning this whole issue until the past couple months or so. And I was hoping to be amongst you guys and be part of a group or something, rather than be pushed away like so many other circles I became a part of. And I have received quite a bit of animosity in the past few weeks and I honestly want to put it to rest. I'm sorry to all of you, and I'd really like to clean up my reputation with you guys.

tl;dr: I'm sorry to anyone I offended with my earlier behavior and lack of understanding of how this whole system works. Please stop hating me and maybe add me on skype b/c that would be cool.
