so ive written- like- 1.5K~ish words of my first Hermit fic, but its just sitting in my docs because i wrote it a night ago within… 3? 3.5 hours?

only proofread it once, today, trying to add more, and think if Xisuma would even talk this way, but truly i must say that my brain is not going to brain anymore

me, who hasn’t watched watcher in months and had sort of lost interest entirely, watching them make an objectively horrible business decision (this will have literally no effect on me I have no stakes in this)

anyway so many people are losing their minds about the watcher announcement and it's a little crazy to me. like I understand being disappointed, I just started watching their videos recently and I'm a big fan, but the way so many people are overreacting just reeks of this weird sense of entitlement and a lack of just critical thinking because like. if you're such big fans you'd want them to be properly compensated for the content they're providing, which means putting new stuff behind a paywall

Me watching I'm In Love With the Villainess: Man, I want to like this show more, but it's so frustrating how the protagonist is a walking possessive lesbian stereotype.

I'm In Love With the Villainess: So here's a five minute conversation all about the protagonist's experience as a gay woman and how she purposefully plays into the possessive lesbian stereotype as a defense mechanism build from years of heartbreak and prejudice to avoid the risk of her sincere feelings being rejected.

the tragedy of martyn's victory in limited life is SO different from that of previous winners and i will never stop thinking about it. past winners fought for their allies or for revenge, but martyn fought to Win. gave up everything, and for what! that stubborn instinct to survive at any cost, to be the last one standing - the fear of running out of time. like winning could save him!

limited life's time gimmick adds a whole extra layer to the futility of it all. you're Always dying, so kill kill kill to stave off the inevitable. but eventually everyone else has died, you killed them all for that delicious time, and all you can do is watch the clock tick down! rotatimg him in my head forever..
