every year i think "there's no way I can draw as much as I did last year" and then then I make myself look like an idiot. ending 2023 with a genuinely disgusting number of arts this year:

Commissions and the store will be back in June! Went thru this weird period where moving was in the books but… no longer? So I’m taking the time to finish the painting prizes and make more 3D models. Thanks to everyone for your patience!

Fhjskdhdjs dont worry, I swear this is pretty normal for me, I like keeping myself occupied I'm fr used to it. Plus this is legit just the speed I usually make things at. My wrist has yet to really get sore even now, thank you either way thats very kind, ill be alright lol

I have 3d printed some very special dice
It's a D1. It only has one possibility.
For when things are certain.
Although, thinking about it, usually 1 is the number people don't want to get, what they want is a 20.
So I also made this
(Also here are a bunch of earlier prototypes)
#joke dice#3d printing#3d printing adventures#dice#this was based on the one advertised on curiosity box which are all out of stock and i didn't want to wait#hand painted and a bit rough but they work#my machine is an fdm printer which is less suitable for the smaller end of things and i wanded these to be small#so they could blend in with other dice#i carefully adjusted the number size and position for balance and clarity#but imperfections in my printing means a little cleaning up was still needed#i kinda want to try more weird dice shapes#this was part of a present for a friend so this has been scheduled for after the party in the odd chance that she visits Tumblr before then#the only practical use i think is for expressing certainty (with perhaps just a bit of sarcasm).#'for that i need you to roll a D1'#'I'm going to roll D1 to see if they attack you'#etc

#i am foaming at the mouth i am chomping at the bit. i want to start character modeling already but i know i shouldn't#because 2d ability to make a character and 3d ability to see it in my head are Very different than being capable of making it in a program#and i will be discouraged by it looking so bad and feeling so hard when it's only hard because i don't have the practice on how to do it ye#but i WANT TO. but i won't. i need to make the abbey first when i feel comfortable enough in the program.#the first steps are done at least. i have finished a tutorial and now thoroughly understand the very basic-est of basics#so now. i will move on to the actual basics#one day... i might make a 3d printable strahd and or abbot and or other characters. like statues not minis#my rose wanted to get into 3d printing + mini painting so that'd be very cool

lotta shadow with wings today huh
im in a shadow generations mood this game is so fjcifficnkng GOOD
#and yes the wings r the most evocative imagery#+ a lotta the stuff im reblogging is probably from around the reveal trailer?? and that was the scene everyone latched onto#which happens in space colony ark act 2 the first time you play it#but i forgot about that so when i went back on my s ranking spree i activated wing and was like#“hey why are there convenient lines of rings at glide height ???”#anyway#GRARHAHTHRGREHRHGSRGRAGTGHRH#one of my favorite games of all time#definitely my favorite sonic game no competition#i really dig this engine i hope frontiers 2 or whatevers next uses this#and polishes off even more of the rough edges though it's already quite polished which is a rarity in 3d sonic lmao#though i still plan to go back to frontiers because it should play just like shadows white space#and i REALLY like running around in his white space. super smooth#i do wonder how the actual levels compare to the cyberspace stuff in frontiers bc at least in shadow movement feels different#namely you get up to smooth skating speed way faster in white space. but also in levels im busy Getting Around The Level#so i need to properly test it in like. kingdom valley that has lots of open space#anyway the wings aren't even my favorite doom power lmao. lowkey love doom blast it feels sick every time#surf would be cool if it felt better to control AND IF YOU COULD BOOST#and grinding chaos island act 1 s rank really got me to appreciate and be frustrated with and then appreciate again doom morph#i like launching through the uh#blob things at the perfect angle that feels nice. and grappling in general#wing also a bit hard to control BUT i still need to s rank radical highway and devil doom so i will get plenty of practice. hahaha cant wait#carrier pigeon#penis shoulder#oops i yapped
