The price trend analysis Since May 2021, bitcoin prices have been trading pretty high at around $30,000. Even if this might be true for now, people are still very conscious about the rate falling very low because of how volatile it is. Although it started with little hope, it took a huge turn when it began trading at over $1,000 and was seen to be a precious asset. In 2017, it reached its all-time high at $20,000. However, 2018 turned out to be a bad year because the price went down 80% and was valued at $3,000. Due to this, many lost interest because they never knew when the price would go up again.

In 2019, the value went up to $15,000, after which it fell again to under $4,000 in 2020. But by this time, they had gotten the recognition they wanted. In 2021 it took a considerable uptrend and reached $65,000, after which it crashed and is now at $30,000.

Bitcoin prediction for 2022 Although multiple predictions state that 2022 will be a lousy year for bitcoins, many analysts believe otherwise.

One of these people is Tim Draper. He talks about him sticking to his prediction of bitcoin reaching $250,000 by the end of 2022 or the beginning of 2023. He says that he is utterly sure with his decision and how people will start to accept it more and more in the future, which will increase its worth.

Shervin Peshawar, a venture capitalist, and an angel investor have also discussed this, claiming that Bitcoin will reach at least $100,000 by the end of 2021. Thomas Fitzpatrick has made bitcoin predictions of $318,000 by 2022, talking about the acceleration in money printing because of covid, due to which more people would be inclined to switch to bitcoins.

One last person is Anthony Pompliano, a very well-known bitcoin personality and has claimed that he holds more than 50% of his net worth in the name of bitcoins. At first, he predicted $100,00 by the end of 2021, but after talking about how the available supply of bitcoins is much lower than most people perceive, he increased his value to $250,000.
