Sooo... Friday, I think, I posted this bit where I talked about my trauma and where I discussed the behaviour of one of my partners. So, today, I have concluded that he is, in fact, an asshole. 

He had a date on saturday. Didn’t text me goodmorning that day, because -insert bullshit excuse here-. I then left him on read for the rest of the day, as I was just hurt and angry. He even ended up texting me that nothing happened. 

We arrive at today, where he picks up I seem to be in a good mood this morning. So he decided to drop the bomb. He is very sorry blahblahblah, hopes I can forgive him... blahblahblah... Has a toxic coping mechanism with lying blahblah fucking blah. Turns out things happened. And that on its own is fine, I’m polyamorous, I deal with that and the jealous feelings that come with it. However, he didn’t mention that she gave him head until today. He said nothing happened. HE. SAID. NOTHING. HAPPENED. What the fuck. Why. I’m fucking hurt, I’m upset. I am so so angry. Like. I didn’t ask about the date either, I know better than to ask about shit I don’t want to know about. But to knowingly, after I stress the fucking importance of communication and being open and honest with eachother, for him to then lie. I can’t cope. Why. I just... this is what I consider cheating. And that shit isn’t ok. 

I turned off my phone. I don’t think I’ll turn it on for a while. I have effectively gone silent. Which is the scary place for me to be, because when I go quiet that means I am incredibly hurt, angry or astonished. And I am all three at the moment. All I want to do is just punch him.

Question: Does pro shipping mean that you support all ships, or that you choose not to interact with those online who have ships that you personally find bad (for example, incest) but you dont actively preach against it cause you think they can be allowed to ship what they please since its fiction, so long as they dont support the idea or act IRL?

Oh no, proshipping just means you support other peoples' right to ship whatever they want, and to do it in relative peace.

You can hate specific ships, you can hate things like incest or age gaps, you can talk about why you hate ships on your blog, you can think certain ships/fandom trends are harmful and wish they would go away forever. You can even blacklist tags and block certain people if you've got to.

Proshipping just means you curate your own fandom experience and don't accuse people of being abusive, predatory monsters purely because they like something in fiction that you don't. It's recognizing that other people have a right to explore fiction and take things away from it, even if you don't understand why or want to.
