Gender: ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I was reading Space Opera on the bus today and it uses the word “gendersplat” and I thought that was pretty damn good. (Also, Space Opera is pretty damn good all around so far.)

Star Sign: Libra.  

Height: 5’6” but lord do I slouch.

Sexuality: Mostly kinda gay, but also I just tend to like who I like and I do my best to roll with it, so I stick with queer.

Hogwarts House: My favourite about this question is that it depends who I ask. One of my closest friends says Slytherin, another says Ravenclaw, another says Hufflepuff, so what we get is Definitely Not Gryffindor. (Slytherin though, really.) 

Favorite Animal: Red pandas. No, not birds, I know, confusing.  

Favorite Color: Oil slick shades of the rainbow.

Current Favorite Song: This is probably a tie of a few on my “I’m grading argle blargle” playlist, 'cuz tis the season, so a toss-up between DVP by PUP, Stay Frosty Royal Milk Tea by Fall Out Boy, and Real Thing by Stars. Outside of work playlists, I’m Gonna Save You by Vertical Horizon? I don’t really know what happened to my music this last month.

Favorite idea to get creative with: I worry I need like fifteen years of sleep before I can feel creative again but honestly, honestly… looking at weird time travel nonsense in games has become my favourite thing. That and torturing my friends with terrible photoshop jokes.

What do I like to do when I’m alone: Life, tbh. I work from home and tend to be a shut-in for a lot of reasons, I’m alone often. If we’re talking really alone and relaxing and revelling in it, I’m in a bubble bath reading a book, or lying on the floor in my pyjamas and talking to the ceiling.

What do I think of my friends: They mean the world to me and I am both sorry they have to put up with my shit and glad that they do. Too many of them live in different cities.

Average hours spent sleeping: Three to seven? Ish? That’s definitely how averages work, yeah?

Cats or dogs: Yes to both. Big dogs and cats especially, and I’ll accept small dogs if I gotta. 

Number of blankets I sleep with: Did I remember to close the window? Then one. Is the window open and it’s -20 out? Then I’m gonna steal the cat’s blankets and use them instead of getting up to close it.

Dream job: Fiction writer or professor, tbh, but I will also accept fantasies about being idly rich and/or owning some sort of dessert bar. 

Dream trip: I want to go back to Ireland so badly.

i think it's mostly that posts like "i think game freak should unionize" and blargle cat really punch above their weight

my favorite example is that you can still find people on twitter posting the blargle cat mp4 (or a screenshot of it) at their friends in 2024, and that post is at least 5 years old... i've also seen random, sometimes even unpopular posts of mine pop up on reddit and various meme sites on rare occasions.

Someday i’ll look back at these hilarious posts and shake my head.  1-2 actual humans I know even a little in real life actually read this.  It’s most just a place for me to yell into the great beyond.  I’m okay.  Probably.  Chances are that I’ll be just fine.  My show is getting advertised in PRINT, again here in Denver.  That is pretty huge.  I guess.  My most recent ex is dating her former “brother type” friend.  I wish this wasn’t a normal thing for me.  Whatever.  I still have my cats and my job and Phish and friends and and and and... blargle.  I really want to make it this year.  And by that I mean I want to make it through the year.  I promise that as depressed and the worst as I get,  I am always rooting for myself.  Woof.  Pancakes.  Shargleton.
