I can't express how excited I am for more of this story. I loved the interactions between the MC, professor, and echo and really enjoy being able to have a MC that is both a cute little cinnamon roll of a character while also being a whirling dervish of death. The drawing ask was just too adorable. I had a NSFW ask you planted in my head so now I just have to ask how would the charactors respond if they visited when the professor was gone and MC greeted cheery and innocent as could be violating the poor professors clothing is not optional rule?
Glad you enjoyed the dynamics of the three goofballs.
The MC really just has two modes: terrifying, competent assassin and sad little cinnamon roll.
Reactions below, slighty NSFW.
Echo -
Probably somewhat used to it at this point, she won't admit it out loud, but it bothers her even more so than the professor. She doesn't get it...why walk around naked? Will be trying to gently poke the MC to get dressed, while trying to eye the obvious places her eyes are wandering.
Cy -
As soon as they see the MC naked, they are running around trying to find anything to cover them; they have to protect the MC's chivalry. Even worse if the MC is acting all cheery; maybe...they don't know that being naked in front of people isn't that normal. Will probably end with the MC wrapped in multiple blankets while Cy explains to the MC why people wear clothes like they're a child.
A -
A is enjoying the view but also trying to figure out if this is something that MC is specifically doing for them or if it's just something that happens when they are alone in the house, like, are they just one of those people that always wander around naked in their own home, or is this a sign?
Salem -
She just kind of freezes, wouldn't even attempt to act like whatever is happening is just staring on while her brain does quantum-level computing trying to put together what this situation is. She would probably just end up leaving and then text the MC an hour later, saying she's not coming back until the MC is clothed.
Harper -
Brain short circuit—they don't know what to do. Should they point out the MC's nudeness? Would that be embarrassing for the MC? They would just awkwardly continue trying to ignore the obvious nakedness. With a steadily growing blush.
Thanks for the ask!💖

Just checked out Blink from @bubblegumrabbitwriting and within the first few pages, I was already in love with the world and the characters and the overall vibe! Thought I would give it a go and draw my MC: Lena. Gotta say drawing the background was almost as much fun as doing the character itself :D

Blink Dev Update
Hello!
So where have I been for the past 2 weeks? Honestly, after releasing the last update, the one-week break I took from writing Blink became 2 weeks, became 3 weeks, and so on. It wasn't really a planned thing, but the more that I came back to my writing file, the more I struggled to actually get anything written down.
It literally became me writing a sentence a day and then spending the rest of the week just rewriting the same sentence over and over again. I had the whole of last week off of work, where the plan was to just write a rough draft and get the majority of the next update at least written as roughly as I could. So instead of feeling like I wasn't making any progress, I at least had something to work on if I couldn't think of anything new.
The problem was that I sat down to write and decided to reread the last update so I had a good idea of where I needed to continue from, and I wasn't happy with anything in the last update or pretty much most of chapter 1. That then just spiralled into me spending the week analysing the chapter line by line trying to figure out what wasn't gelling.
And all in all, I haven't come to a conclusion. The last update felt rushed in parts that should have been longer and more impactful and too long in parts that should have just been set up. But as I keep having to remind myself, chapter 1 is just supposed to be a setup chapter to introduce the reader to the MC as a character and their key goal and an introduction to the world before the main plot of the story is introduced.
I haven't really figured out if there is really any way to fix that other than doing a full rewrite, which I'm trying to avoid, as I know it will absolutely kill any enthusiasm I have for writing the story. It would feel like a step back from trying to move the story forwards, and I don't think it would ultimately make that much of a difference in the overall pacing or quality of the game.
So with that in mind, I have started to write the next update. I'm going to write it with the above in mind and hopefully make the overall next update better. I want to at least get all of Chapters 1 and 2 done before I even look at doing anything like a rewrite.
To make a long rant short, work on the next update is continuing at a somewhat rocky but steady pace.
I also wanted to say a thank you to anyone sending in asks over the last couple of weeks. Even when I haven't been answering any, the inbox is quite full at the moment, and I'm going to start working through the asks from the oldest to the newest. So those should start being posted in the next couple of days. I'm also planning on doing dev updates again in between the updates; no real schedule for these, but they will probably be biweekly.
Thanks again as always. 💖

Blink demo update!!!!!
Hi Guys,
The demo for Blink has been updated with the direct attack route for the mansion; this path doesn't use the same sneaking mechanics but has the new damage system. I was hoping to get both of the remaining paths done, but at the moment I'm getting barely any time to actually write anything. For now I'm going to focus on getting the next part of chapter 1 done and then finishing the final path, as I need a break from that stuff. I also couldn't add the above in a separate file due to the damage mechanic, so sorry to say, but all saves will be gone. I will be changing this for the next update, however.
DEMO LINK
The demo includes the below:
Direct attack path for mansion break-in.
As always, if there are any issues, please feel free to send them here or to the forum topic.
Thank you, and I hope you all enjoy the new content.

What would the ROs reactions be to MC saying they had a nightmare where they abandoned them?
You wake up in a cold sweat; the ache of the empty space next to you digs its claws in your chest and rips away any comfort the blanket draped around you could provide.
Your panic rises with you as you frantically look around the darkened room, praying for any signs of other life.
Only to be met by the same quiet that haunted your dreams, driving the sense of loneliness deeper and deeper into you. You knew this wasn't ever going to last, but you let yourself believe and hope for a different ending. One where you're not sitting, confined, alone.
Breath comes shallow, as the ever-increasing tightening in your chest causes your eyes to close and fists to ball.
What were you thinking? You must be a masochist with the way you consistently build yourself up so you break yourself down brick by brick.
You did this to yourself, opened yourself up to spite yourself? to finally feel anything? something?
The feelings coalesce and meld into a weight pushing down on you...all broken by the creak of door hinges.
---------------------------------------------------------
Echo -
Echo stands, hand pushed into curls and phone screen lighting her face. Another stressful call that you know will be weighing on her mind the rest of the night.
All the stress that plagues her seems to dissipate as her eyes land on you, her hand slowly falling from where it tangled itself in her hair.
"MC_name." She comes to you, slowly, gently. Like a ghost of a dream, filtered by the fear of a nightmare.
"What's wrong?" The slow touch of her fingers on your arm, cementing that this is reality. She's here, present in a way to mock your manifested misery.
It takes a moment for your mind to recognise the safety with the typhoon of thought that batters it.
"N-nothing, i-it was just a nightmare..." That same calloused shield that you raise to protect yourself.
But she knows, she always does. Know's you better than you know yourself in most cases.
And you know it yourself, as her arms circle you. The gentle embrace born of love that you crave. "Nightmares are sometimes worse than reality."
Like always, you don't need to word your distress; you don't need to dwell on the cause. Only medicate yourself with the aftermath, the real.
You lay there, in her arms, drink her warmth like your first glass of water in years.
Until she retreats far enough that the warmth of her body is still present in the air. "You want to watch that movie you've been talking about?"
It seems random, but you know what? It is a distraction. An opportunity to drown the isolation in a moment of togetherness to spite the worst that memory can conjure.
And you're not fool enough to deny it.
Cy -
Cy stands, like a mockery of the events that have replayed themselves in every fibre of your being for the past two years.
An effigy to abandonment made manifest to torment you with the reality.
One glance at them and you break down further, the lines between real life and subconscious dream fading with every moment until you can't tell you're awake.
But their arms around you, the comfort of touch, and the joy of warmth. It has to be real, because you don't know if you could face it not being.
"MC_name..." The words are whispered, close enough to your ear that it forces you to focus on them.
"I'm here, I'm here." So, so simply. But the mantra is enough to rip the tears from your eyes and stoke their shirt.
They're here now, maybe not in the past but in the here and now. They're here.
"Never again." Spoken quieter, not for you but for themself. A quiet acceptance bathed in guilt became a promise for you both.
For all the pain inflictted, you are still in their arms, leaning onto them for protection from a world that you have never understood.
And you will always be with them, until the day you both break apart and return to the ash that litters that same world.
That is enough; forgiveness might never come, but you know they will work towards it with every minute you have left. given or not.
A -
A stands looking as exhausted as you feel. Clearly they are only just getting back from another night of whatever it is they do.
But even with bags under their eyes, they seem to be breaking you down all the same with a single look.
You know they can tell something is wrong; you could see it in the way the muscles in their neck tensed the moment they saw you.
So you don't attempt to hide; you let the walls break themselves down and put faith that they will be there to build them again.
And they are by your side in a moment, shielded from the isolation that tries to drag you into it.
"Nightmare?" A asks simply and almost convinces you it is that simple.
You give a nod, leaning into their embrace and letting their steady heart beat lead your own.
"You want to talk about it?" Easier said than done, but the whisper of their voice on your ear is enough to make you want to try.
"Y-you were gone, just...gone, and I was left. Exactly the same as then..." The words die in your throat; you can't say more, the noise cementing in your mouth before they have a chance to leave.
"I wouldn't ever do that to you, not like them." You know who they are referring to; maybe, somewhere deep down, they are the cause of it. But you don't have the energy to voice the realisation.
You sit with A in the silence, letting them be the ground to find your footing.
"Let's go out." The invitation comes suddenly and causes you to face them fully.
"It's 1am..."
"So? Who needs sleep anyway? It's not like you're going to get a good night's sleep anyway." Well, when they say it like that.
Salem -
Their Salem stands, backlit in a way that accentuates the sweat that coats her body, a clear sign she just got back from a late-night gym session, if the towel resting on her shoulder wasn't a giveaway already.
With a single look she has already moved and crouched in front of you, looking into your eyes as all you can do is watch the movement.
There's no need for words, as she reaches out and slowly wraps her arms around you. Allowing you to flee the comfort if you dare, but you can't.
You just rest your head on her shoulder, allowing yourself to be cradled and sheltered.
The silence that haunted you before melts away with the overwhelming isolation as Salem's warmth reminds you that at least in this moment you're not alone.
"I'm here." It's simple: the words that dance along your ear. An equation simplified to a dreamlike fantasy.
But...at least for now, maybe you can let yourself be swept away by the joy such a fantasy could give.
At least for now you aren't alone, and the promise in the two words can stave off the fear of the opposite for a while at least.
Harper -
Harper, blurry-eyed and wrapped in a fluffy robe two sizes too big, said, condensation from the glass of water in their hand slowly dripping to the ground.
You would hug them if you weren't completely frozen by your own shock.
"Mc_name? W-what's wrong?" Their voice comes out soft, softer than you remember. Grounding in a way that causes tears to prick at the corners of your eyes.
"I'm fine." You croak out in a broken little voice.
Maybe it's the slight break in your voice or the quiver that seems to stick to muscles, but it's clear Harper doesn't agree, abandoning their glass of water on the bedside table and sitting next to you on the bed.
They don't say anything, just offer open arms that you fall all too easily into.
Your head leans on their chest, their heartbeat a steadying call that lulls your own into submission.
"I had a nightmare...you were gone and..." The confession works its way out of you and into the quiet of the room. Dying as quickly as it existed.
"Never." Harper's reply is single-worded, not a denial, not a contradiction. A single word with the weight of a promise as sure as the sun's rise.
You try to reason a rebuke in your own head; the falsity in such a sure statement. But fail as the words wrap around you and provide comfort undeniable. "You don't know that..."
"I do." They don't and can't know. "I will prove it to you every day." But maybe you could throw yourself into such an impossible dream.
-------------
I don't know what happened when I was answering this, but my brain went straight to causing as much emotional damage to the MC as possible.
Thanks for the ask! 💖

the MC asked the ROs to be patient while they explore their partner's body, who'd have the patience to actually let the MC do what they want to do and who would just pounce mid-way?
Mildly NSFW, you have been warned.
Echo -
No patience and no self-control; the MC is maybe getting a minute at most before they are on them.
Cy -
Cy will sit patiently if told but will be whining all the while trying to get MC to let them take over instead; they're fine with MC taking the lead, but they are more concerned with the MC's pleasure than their own.
A -
Would instantly awaken their competitive side, and they would be as patient as the MC needs, but they are definitely making teasing remarks all the way through and trying to get the MC to pounce on them; after all, that means they win.
Salem -
Definitely not used to being the one who has to be patient; normally that is something they tell their partners, but they will try and sit it out as long as possible. As soon as the MC is done, however, they are paying them back tenfold.
Harper -
Will try to be patient, but ultimately they're not used to such intimacy and will buckle partway through; they just kind of lose themselves to the pleasure and want to enjoy it to its fullest.
Thanks for the ask!

Can we get a snippet of Cy and MC in the facility pretty please?
Of course, the below is a first draft of something that might make it into the game, but we haven't decided yet.
----------------------
You lie on your tiny cot, curled up in a way that only punctuates the new bruises, and you think least one broken bone that permeates your body.
The drip that has been growing in size in the corner of your room creates a steady rhythm in the corner of the room that matches the beats of your heart. You were all but thrown in here after your sparring session, much to the dismay of your sparring partner, who requested you be taken for a check-up, but the guards were all the more happy to dump you back in your cell, going on about how your body will have healed itself by the morning.
You force your eye's closed trying to claw atleast one fleeting moment of sleep but it fails as it so often does.
Everything around you too loud, the dripping of the leak, the whinning of the fan built into the wall, the inregular humming that the building constantly produces.
It's enough to make you want to scream, to try and blot out the constant noise with noise of your own making, but you know all it will grant you is another lock-in confinement.
So what else can you do than throw your scratchy makeshift blanket over you and hope the fine barrier of canvas is enough to block out the sound?
You lie covered for what could be hours, wishing for just a second of silence and sleep, but it never comes; you just grow more tired and more irritated.
But all of that vanishes as you hear footsteps coming towards your room; your heartbeat increases, but you don't move, just hoping they pass and continue down the hall.
Luck has never been on your side. You could blame it on fate, but you're not sure if that just makes it sadder that some cosmic entity hates you enough to have the footsteps stop right outside your door.
You wait for the shouted command to go to the corner while they enter. You're not sure how successful you will be on your next mission, as beaten and bruised as you are, but that has never been your choice to make.
But it never comes; you hear the slide of the door, the footfalls against concrete, and that's it.
It doesn't soothe you however, you still stay in place, muscles tensing but it all disappears at the sound of a voice.
"I heard you took a pretty bad beating today." You don't answer, some sort of misplaced pride in yourself not allowing it. But you know it's not meant to be taunting; it's a fact after all.
You hear Cy's steps coming closer to your cot before they stop; you can see their outline backlight through the fabric. "Are you really going to make me talk to a bundle of cloth?"
You don't answer; you just curl in closer to yourself. "Fine..." You hear Cy sit on the floor next to you, back leaning against the side of your cot. "You know those 'training sessions' are all unfair, right?" You don't need to see them to know the air quotes that accompanied training sessions. "I mean, they expect us to fight against people twice our age."
Your silence doesn't seem to bother Cy as they continue. "But that also means that the results don't matter; you're not weak, MC – don't ever think that you are. Half of the guards out there couldn't last anywhere near as long as we have in here." If you weren't so weak, you wouldn't be the one on the verge of breaking from lying down.
"Also, I got you something." You see a foil-wrapped treat slowly appear under your blanket. "Just don't ask how I got it and don't let the guards."
"...thank you." You whisper as your fingers wrap around the chocolate bar.
"So you can still talk; next, you just need to show me your face so I can see if you really need any medical attention." You can hear the joking tone in Cy's voice, but it's tempered with honest worry.
Against your better judgement, you pull the blanket down, turning to face Cy. "See no more uglier than normal." They say with a grin that washes away any anger.
"And your still a jackass." You pout.
Cy's hands come up to gently take your face as they inspect the bruises marring it. "It should heal up fairly soon." All the previous joking had left their tone.
They let out a sigh. "You don't deserve this..." They speak the words with a hesitance that you don't think they mean just the beating you took.
"Neither of us do." You reply with a smile, trying to break the tension that has coiled in their features.
"Exactly." They wear a smile not so easily donned as before.
"Stay here for a while?" You ask; you were already failing at falling asleep you might as well have an excuse not to.
The smile on their face grows more earnest as they nod. You spend the next hours talking about anything, any topic to rip away an ounce of normalcy, and it works as you yawn and eventually fall into the hands of Mother Sleep, knowing Cy will always be there for you.

ROs reactions if they were a little too loud the night before and someone told them the next day they must have had a good night?
Ohhh...I'm going to imagine it was the professor who heard them for the extra embarrassment/torture.
-----------------
Echo -
Depends on who says it; if it's the professor, she's joking about and trying to make it as uncomfortable for them as possible. Anyone else, she is just silently glaring at them before they shut up; she might make a very sharp comment to achieve that depending on if the person doesn't stop.
Cy -
It depends on how the MC reacts; if they are not otherly shy or bothered about it, then Cy will probably play it off with a joke. If the MC is shy or embarrassed by it, then they will be a bit sharper still a joke but one that doesn't invite any further conversation on the topic.
A -
Unabashedly unashamed, not only are they not denying it they are also doubling down. It will become way waymore awkard for the other person before it even starts to affect A; they will only stop if the MC seems bothered by their bragging and very indepth descriptions.
Salem -
Will play it off with something like "What do you think?" But inside they are dying from embarrassment; it's like having your partner's parents hear you. They are subtly avoiding them any time they enter the room, making excuses to leave. This will probably go on for a week or so until they are absolutely certain the person has forgotten.
Harper -
Instantly covered in a blush from head to toe, they will be a stammering mess while they try to come up with an answer. Ends up just running away from the conversation and hiding somewhere; will need coaching out by the MC and reassurance, probably a stern talking with whoever mentioned it.
Thanks for the ask! 💖

Hey! I was wondering, if each RO was asked to describe themselves in one word, what word would they pick?
Hello, very fun ask. 😊 see the answers below.
-----
Echo - Adorable, she says with a big smile and a cheeky wink.
Cy - Looks down at their feet and mutters, Loyal. Well, MC stares daggers at them across the room.
A - Dazzling, stunning, delightful, etc. If you ask them, you're getting more than just one word.
Salem - Reliable. Answered straight away without any hesitation.
Harper - Chooses nice but then thinks that it might come off as too bigheaded and stammers through a variety of words before settling on pleasant.
Thank you for the ask!

How would the ro’s react to a mc admitting that they didn’t care if they died to the ro’s if you don’t feel comfortable doing this ask that’s okay also sorry for the bad English
Your English is great, and even if it wasn't, there is nothing to be sorry about. There will be options in the future that suggest the above, so I won't do super detailed reactions, but I will do little bits.
-------------------
Echo -
For Echo, like A, Salem and Harper, it's dependent on if she knows about the MC's past. If she were more sympathetic than anything else, it would make sense to her that the MC would think that way; ultimately, how would they be able to think anything else when for most of their lives they were treated as nothing other than a tool? A tool doesn't worry about when it's going to break.
She would try to convince the MC of all the things that are worth living for, and if that doesn't work, they will promise the MC that they will be with them everyday until they see it.
Cy -
Would honestly be angry, not from a lack of understanding – they have felt the same in the past – but it feels like the MC is giving up. That every moment they had to fight for their survival together was made worthless; the feeling is made worse as it breaks down their somewhat rose-tinted view of the MC that they have.
They would try to keep the anger from their voice and reason with the MC, but depending on how the MC responds, it would break through and most likely turn into an argument with some fairly hurtful words exchanged. It would be one of the few things that would actually get past their admiration for the MC, even if that anger is being caused by their admiration.
A -
Again, A's reaction would heavily depend on if they know the MC's past; if they didn't, they would probably be more joking about it. Not to be condescending to the MC, but because they feel the same, and it's easier to play it off than to dive into it with another person and dig up emotions in themselves.
With an understanding of the MC's past, they would take it more seriously and try and help the MC through, even when it ends up with them having to self-reflect on the parts of themselves they try to hide. It would hopefully end with both A and MC being able to confide in each other and become a support network for each other in whichever ways they can.
Salem -
Knowing the MC's past, she would be devastated that the MC has been pushed to that point. And she would try to communicate that to the MC but converstations aren't her specitality and it would come out in frustation, not at the MC or the way they but at herself for not feeling like she can properly handle the stituation or give the correct advice and support the MC needs.
The conversation could really end in two ways: if the MC is someone more socially competent and can break through the awkwardness to the real meaning of her words, it might be helpful, or it could end with two very awkward people trying to carry a conversation that eventually fades into silence.
Harper -
After hearing about the MC's past, the words would break their heart. Like Echo, they completely understand why the MC would feel the way they do; they haven't ever been told that their life is valuable. So they would try their hardest to just be there for the MC, offer small support and someone to speak to until hopefully the MC can find something themselves. They don't want to push their reasons for living on the MC but want the MC to find their own and what's important to them.
Thanks for the ask!

please i need to know more about mc and Cy so badly PLEASE ILL DO ANYTHING IM GOING INSANE

Cy has you in a chokehold I see, I feel you 😔
Have some Cy and MC facts below to hold back the Cy thrist
----------------------------------------------------
Cy and MC named each other well in the facility.
Well, in the facility, Cy and MC used to break into each other's rooms to see each other.
Cy and MC were never sent on operations together due to being part of different units and their perceived friendship having an effect on said operation's.
Cy used to guard MC like a bodyguard during mealtime at the facility so that other operatives didn't take up their free time together.
Cy once got into a fight with another operative and broke one of their fingers after they made certain comments about the MC.
Cy may or may not have purposely tasted MC blood on more than one occasion when not needed (They are down bad.)
Cy at first only spoke to the MC because they thought they would be useful in escaping the facility.
That's all you will get from me for now; honestly, I absolutely regret the decision to only really have the MC and RO interact with each other by chapter 2.
Thank you for the ask!

ROs reactions to getting walked in on as they're getting physical with the MC? Spice level of what "getting physical" means at your discretion.
Let just say it's the professor that's walking in on them 😅
Oh 😳, these were fun to write. Also have a bonus of how the Professor feels about each relationship with the RO's. I'll let you guys decide what the RO's and MC were doing before hand 😏
Echo - Instantly scrabbling across the room to get as far away from the MC as possible, they trip over at least once. When at least a couple of feet distance has been established, they turn to the door and shout, "Can't you knock!" with a deep blush over her whole face.
Cy - Turns to look at the person, death glare. "This isn't a show; close the door." They spit out well, covering the MC with their body; if you're embarrassed or fretting, they are also calming you down with soft murmurs.
A - Turns to the person with a grin. "We're currently in the middle of something; please feel free to watch, but it might be some time." A will get closer to the MC if possible, though they might not actually continue whatever was happening if the person actually stays. Maybe... it depends on the person.
Salem - Snapping her head to the person. "Leave!" As soon as the door closes, they are continuing if you're up for it. If not, they are on a warpath to find the person and shouting them down for interrupting.
Harper - As soon as they hear the door open, they are under the covers hiding. Won't come back out until they know the person is gone, after they are a blushing mess and worrying what the person might be thinking. You're going to have to reassure them.
-------------------------
Professor reactions
Echo - Leaves the room instantly with an apology, but when they get out, they are smiling to themself. Going to be teasing the MC and Echo for the rest of the day. (They have been secretly rooting for Echo and MC the whole time.)
Cy - Returns the glare, stays for a reasonable time to make sure to kill the mood as much as possible. Still doesn't fully trust them not to hurt the MC again, even if the MC doesn't admit they were hurt by Cy previously.
A - Stares down A. "Like I would want to see that." Begins asking MC mundane questions until A leaves or gets annoyed enough to tell them to leave. Definitely keeping a close eye on them and MC whenever they are together.
Salem - Shocked, surprised, and conflicted. They're not the worst choice MC could have chosen, but also they are only a few years younger than themselves, and they don't like to think about that. Probably just awkwardly leave and then think about it for the rest of the day while avoiding both Salem and the MC.
Harper - Likes them the second best after Echo, similarly leaving the room as quickly as possible but smiling to themselves for the rest of the day at how cute MC and Harper are together.
Thank you for the ask!

What would the ro’s do if mc went up and bit their shoulder playfully?🤭
Without spoiling the reactions too much, I will just say this is a turn-on for at least two of the ROs. They just want to bite and be bitten. 😔
Also experimented with writing the reactions out as more of a contained small story.
-------------------
Echo -
You entered the workshop, and there was your target. Echo is unaware and typing away on her phone, with her back to you. Not even aware of your presence. But that was going to change real quick.
Your steps are silent, years worth of training guiding every movement, your breath barely there. As you close in behind Echo and lean in and...
Echo lets out a squeak; you don't think you've ever heard her make a sound so high-pitched before. Her hand instantly found the spot where your teeth had lightly nibbled.
"D-did you just bite me?" She gets out in a blur of sounds that might be considered as words.
You just grin back at her.
"W-what does that even mean..." Echo says quietly, her face blushing as she sees the little mark left on her shoulder. "Just let a girl know before you just go biting, ok...it's not like I would have said no." She whispers, feet shuffling as your grin grows wider.
Cy -
Cy is brooding or maybe sulking; sometimes it's impossible to tell the difference. Well, looking over at a bunch of the professor's new inventory, well, this is no fun at all. You can do something about that.
You giggle to yourself in your mind; you're sure Cy has bitten you more than once. Time to return the favour.
Sneaking low, you completely mask your sound. Bringing all your years of experience back to the surface for one perfect sneak attack, you can't wait.
As soon as you're close enough, you strike forward, teeth nipping ever so gently at the skin on Cy's shoulder as they stiffen before a sound close to a growl exits their throat.
Before you know it, Cy has spun around and has their own teeth on your skin. This wasn't what you had in mind. When they pull back, you just stare at them in a mix of offence and begrudging admiration.
"What? You thought you would just get to bite, and I wouldn't return the favour? Don't act like you didn't like it." Cy lets out with challenging eyes and a sharp smirk, Well, there's obviously only one solution.
You bite them again to get even.
A -
A was lounging on the couch, limbs thrown out in every direction and barely even sitting on the furniture. Relaxed with eyes half closed and one of the few times that they weren't seeming to try and tease and fluster you.
What better time for revenge?
You sneak closer, avoiding the shadows on the ground. You've already been caught by that trap before, and you would rather not be strung up for hours again at the mercy of A.
Closer and closer until finally you're above them, their breathing the same contented rhythm, completely unaware of your upcoming attack. You lean close, controlling your breath, and go in for the bite.
As soon as your teeth lightly pinch their skin, they let out a husky moan. "Harder!" Well...shit. That wasn't the reaction you were expecting; you feel your cheeks flush and your body temperature rise. This wasn't how it was supposed to go.
A opens their eyes, smirking at you with a hooded gaze. "Hmm...now that certainly is a good way to wake someone up. My turn?" A lean's closer breath washing over your skin. How can someone somehow always win?
Salem -
You spot Salem outside the warehouse looking as dour as normal, a crease already well developed between her eyebrows as she speaks into her phone with a bored tone that borders on frustration.
Well, you might as well go brighten her day.
You stalk closer, watching your feet as you avoid every little rock and stray trash. Closing in on Salem's looming form before you are behind them completely unnoticed.
Now all you need to do is strike, your weapon of choice a nice little chomp in the morning.
As soon as your teeth get so close as nipping at her, she spins with grace that definetly befit her size, grasping your arm and pinning it behind your back as she slams you into the wall.
"Who the fuc...MC?!" She studies the mark on her shoulder before turning to you again. "Did you just bite me?!" You just let out a little shrug, trying to play coy, or the best you can with an arm pinned behind you.
She spins you around, arms now pinned above you while she looks you down. A look conflicted between kissing you and biting you back.
Harper -
You enter the kitchen and see Harper in the corner, already seeming to be worrying about something as they chew on one of their nails. Now that won't do at all.
You run through all the things you can do to get them out of the stupor and decide on your course of action. A distraction is what they need, and you know the perfect way to distract them.
Closing in on them, you barely even have to sneak, so absorbed in whatever perceived problem they are trying to figure out.
Well, that's all the better for you and your toothy distraction.
As you get behind them, you lean in softly and lightly nip their shoulder, following it with a soft kiss. The reaction is instant as Harper lets out...a moan before they catch themselves and squeak. Now that was unexpected.
They turn around faster than you've ever seen them move before. "W-why!?" Is the only word they say as they stare at you wide-eyed and blushing.
"To distract you, did it work?" You say with a coy smirk.
"I-I...yes..." You let out a chuckle as they lightly rub the spot your teeth clasped onto almost reverently.
