✧ margin of error → you skip the med bay after a mission that left you bleeding to keep bucky from finding out you’re hurt—not realizing he’s home early.

✧ promise without ceremony → bucky gave up on marriage a long time ago. but one day, when he pulls a bullet from your leg, he accidentally proposes.

tactical comfort → when your period hits early during a mission, you try to power through it. but, bucky notices everything, and he refuses to let you suffer in silence.

interim measures → (thunderbolts/bucky x reader) after officially moving into tower, the team is still figuring out how to coexist. game night helps!

pressure points → bucky never misses a tell and hiding an unexpected injury during a mission debrief forces both of you to confront what the two of you are really doing.

This is a Doug Ramsey appreciation post for his very early adventures with the New Mutants

"Hey wake up, it's me your friend Sam, I'm a mutant, you're a mutant too, now can you help our team of teenagers to establish communications with an apparently hostile alien form?" – and that's how Doug learned about his powers...

This time he helps saving the day by being able to communicate with Warlock and uncovering his intentions, helping the technarch alien who would become his best friend

How vulnerable he was aware of being, but how this would not preclude him from helping his teammates the best way he could:

His mutant abilities are underrated because they're not battle oriented, he's capable of understanding every language in the universe, he can decipher codes and computer languages, understand hidden intentions and body language. (This is early Doug Ramsey, he's not even a member of an X-team yet, his powers would change and evolve a lot during the years)

He exemplifies how not every mutant will have fighting powers/skills, Forge is also an example of that (of the time), but Doug is even more interesting because his powers don't need to translate to a tangible object, it's purely intellectual, and it's fascinating to me

Just finished Twin Peaks.

I think this was the most satisfying show I've ever watched.

The humor- HILARIOUS

The tenderness- SO SWEET

The sexy parts? HOT AS FUCK

The violence? Terrifying

The Paranormal? Fascinating

The horror? Terrifying

The ending? Fucking brilliant.

Perfection, A+ no notes, can't wait to watch it again. I'm certain it will be even better on rewatch.

Currently reading Dumb Witness (a Poirot mystery) and the extent to which Hasting keeps anthropomorphizing this dog is so funny. He gives it entire lines of imaginary dialogue. I love it.
