hi folks

have some probably wrong use of the code but it’s perfectly fucking fine

Have this really big page of me trying and failing to learn the body code. This is all definitely wrong

I finally put my mediocre sewing skills to good use and this is the fourth thing I have ever made with a sewing machine

Discovered today that the body code from SCP: Find Us Alive is actually a fully realised thing, fully described on their website, so obviously I immediately had to mess around with it because like. It's so cool!!!! Big things happening here

I don't believe in rulers so honestly we should all be impressed by the janky mostly-straight lines I managed

This code is really fun to do, actually, because you can play pretty fast and loose with the rules of it and change the sizing and layout pretty much however you want to make it look cooler. The phonetic spellings are a little tricky to figure out sometimes but this one wasn't too bad. Took me forever when I was trying to figure out how to spell out my own name though :p.

And here's me messing around with it trying to get everything to be done right and also look nice, just because I think it's silly and fun. Feel like the first half of the phonetic spelling is mega British and the latter half is Dracula-esque but shhhh it works if I say it does:

Learning how to embroider and thought I’d translate my favorite word into the body code and put it on my backpack, haha. My French knots could probably be better but overall I’m pretty proud for my first real project!

Any guesses as to what it says?

Harley’s Body Code Guide Part 1

If you want the official guide of it, please refer to FUA’s official website here. This guide is mainly made for my own convienence and nutshell understanding of it so I might not get everything right—but you’re free to take this as reference too. Most of this stuff is from the page itself so I still encourage checking out the original page.

PREMISE

The Body Code is a specialized code Harley made to combat against SCP-6320’s time loop—which happens every 32 days and erases all recorded data on the anomaly, as if it’s never been recorded, back to Incident A(the Shift).

The code is able to be used as tattoos since tattoos carry over resets—making it possible to record data on the anonaly without worrying about it being erased. This allows it to have many possiblities with it: such as important notes, sentimental value, and more.

THE CODE

The code is organized by a shortened phonetic version of the English Alphabet, dropping some letters and retaining some to fewest letters possible.

Using these sets of letters, you can make shortened words and retain their sound and meaning.

For example, if you want to say “SECURE” you would need to shorten it to “SEKUR”. Insure the word you’re using can retain it’s meaning. The shorter the words, the better.

You can also combine some letters to create other sounds.

E = E, A

D = B, A

V = V, W, F

K = K, C, Q

S = S, C, Z

Y = Y, I

THE CIPHER

The letters selected are arranged on the following cipher grid.

Words are constructed by a base diamond, letters are constructed in littler diamonds inside the base diamond, and vowels simply use dots.

The letters are read clockwise, starting at the top of the diamond. Vowels are usually placed on the consanants that come after it. So for this example: this diamond says “SEKUR”.

The top diamond starts with an S, then with the second diamond on the right you’d have K—and add the E vowel dot alongside it. The third diamond on the left has R alongside the U vowel dot.

A thing to keep in mind with the Y vowel: you’ll notice that you draw a line to go with it. When using a Y dot, they will always be drawn on the edge of the letter diamond, not on a corner.

To form a sentence: the base diamonds are formed in a horizontal array as such.

There is also locational context involved depending where you tattoo the code. They mostly vary depending on each individual but most form of context in FUA include something like:

Inner left wrist: location system used (which Department/Group key you’re using)

Back of Neck: Foundation ID (in case your body is not easily identifiable)

Back: Used by department heads or group as a key to their department’s locational system

Left ring finger: martial status (sentimental)

There is also additional meaning to words by adding an arrow on top of the base diamond; creating a connotation for the word.

Up: Good, safe, favorable outcome

Down: bad, Keter, unfavorable outcome

Left: Caution, Eucild, vulnerable, keep watch.

An example would include something like:

Word: “casualty 9/6/19”

Locational context: Area designated for breach documentation.

Orientation: Down

Phrase: A breach on 9/6/19 suffered heavy casualties.

On the topic of numbers, actually: numbers use the same grid and format as such above.

But the key difference is the caret above the diamond. Dashes can be used as horizontal lines if you are referring to a date as such.

Before we draw our diamonds, lets figure out what kind of words we’re using. Let’s do something like..Love’s organ donor reminder as canonically said in the show :)

Klein and Love try to pick up enough pieces for the both of them.

Nightmare 4

It was dark that night and rained, lucky Steven was inside. Steven decided to spend the night with Kofi and Nane Fua. Like he had choice they insisted, After pearl went to sleep, steven talked to kofi and Nanrfua on what’s going on. Steven had pearl in his lap, so he spoke quietly. Steven began “so what’s been going on” Kofi didn’t speak, then Nanfuka turned to Steven “ How about I put her to bed”. Steven didn’t want to let her go but “uhh ok”, Steven give pearl to Nanrfua. She disappeared around a dark corner of the bunker. Then after Nanrfua came back , she turned to Steven “ I glad she can sleep, I don’t get much any more”. Steven said to Naunrfua “Why” Nanrfua raze her head     “home world”. “Those green space freaks”. “They came about 30 years ago, everything was simple before then. They went after the world army’s and defeated them easily, but the only thing that was slowing them down was the legendary Crystal gems. A lot of us didn’t know what do, some of us prepared but by the time home world came is was too little too late. All adult were striped from there children, if they showed any resistance. They were immediately executed. They came back a Second time and killed almost everyone. But us and few others survived.” Kofi interrupted “we keep in touch with walkie-talkies. We use codes if ever home world army is ever listening in”. Nanrfua continued “ I notes something, I don’t think there looking for us. I think they might looking something more import.” “ enough about your crazy theories mom, what else would they be looking for.” “The remaining gems” “impossible , they been dead for years.

“Then how do you explain ,the son rose quartz right in front of you and his protector in bedroom”. Kofi stop , he turned to Steven and look back at Nanfua. “Maybe , you’re right, but still I think homeworld has little more grip on situation then you think. but explained to me that the so called protector of rose Quartz is so young.” Nanfua did know , she look at Steven saying “do you know”. Steven answer his question Simply “I don’t know why pearl is like his” . Kofi look at Steven shocked “You don’t know” Steven nodded “maybe that child isn’t who you say to be.”

Steven thought to himself, he pondered what Nanrfua said. Then a thundering shack came, “quickly turn off the lights” said Nanrfua. Everything became dark, The thundering shake Echoed on concrete Bunker. Steven kept quiet with not making a sound. Nanrfua turned the lights back on, “my guess a assault rover”. Steven look at Kofi “Well we can’t just sit here , we need to find out more about them”. “Oh we know enough, they’re looking for you and rose court’s Guardian (Kofi point down a small hallway at Pearl in a bed sheets) “no, the rover was going a lot faster this time, they found something” right after that sentence , Steven climbed the ladder and got out bunker. Kofi rosse from the Buckner “Roes , wa” Steven turns “ no , I need find them” “no” Steven walk in rain with no light. Steven could barely see, than Kofi said “take the flipping helmet” “what?” Steven was blind but he was hand a glossy helmet , he feeled for where the head goes and found it and put it on. It was big on Steven but Steven could see, Kofi was gone. Then heard a very loud truck, a green rover speed by on beach. Then Steven chance it ,he was about to lose it before, it slowed to make a turn onto the road. He caught up with it, and saw steps leading up to door on vehicle but soon as he was inches away from the first bar he quickly notes that the first bar was taller than him. He running and jumping to grab on to bar , he remembered pearl , he motivated himself to grab onto bars. He soon aged and grew and grabbed the bar hosing off ground. After that the hemat felled just right size, the rover went faster. He feel the freezing breeze on body , he still keep his grip. The rover Preceded to get on mane road off beach city, he hang on for what Felt like hours. Steven was so cold, from the constant cold air on his body except his head , which was covered by his helmet. Steven hand got so cold they started to slip, by then Steven could’t feel his hands. Steven hang on more by wrapping his arms around the Latter. The cold numb Stevens arms so much that he could feel them any more. He fell off the rover and landed on hard asphalt road. He slowly got up he wasn’t injured so bad since he had a helmet on. The rover was already out sight, he had nothing thing to follow , he had no leds and he was alone. He stared feel helpless, he heard another rover coming. He quickly dashed into the bushes on side road , the rover passed with no indication of it seeing him. He turned around and see a bunch of bushes and trees behind him. He walked under tree look at amusing bushes and trees, then something hit him. He looked at ground , it was rock. He looked up into tree, he saw something move. He talked thout the helmet, “ hello is anyone there”. Then behind him “ don’t move” , he turned around. It was a green soldier, it overheard Steven . Steven acted quickly , he busted out his shield and through it at the soldier. It fell straight on ground, Steven re-summoned his shield , he walked slowly up to soldier. It jumped up , grabbing a  green knife from it belt and pushing Steven to tree. In a dark and deep voice “ what you’re doing , his pointless, we know all where your are . Where just preparing to Slaughter you all..” . Then something fell on it’s head , then Steven pushed it and gave a great bang to it head. His blood was still pumping fast, until he start climbing up the tree. He saw a small leg with a similar style as to pearls clothes , when Steven found her. He climbed higher and higher , Until he saw a face . one that made his heart soften, “Amethyst” Steven said. Amethyst looked thin and hugged on tight onto the tree. Amethyst was birthing hard, she was scared of Steven at first. Intel Steven put his hand onto amethyst shoulder, her breath stopped. She unlocked her grip with tree , Steven grabbed amethyst. Steven climbed down from the tree, he saw that amethyst had drifted to sleep. He notes that green soldier moved, Steven knew he could’t leave him here
