There is something so sweet about just how innocent Lucanis can be. Between him saying "Oh, I have other plans for the evening 😉" only to sneak out of the villa to drink coffee by himself, and reacting to Rook's "So you want to stay up all night? However shall we pass the time?~" with "I'd like to just listen to your voice 😊" you can tell it may just be a recurring thing.

Imagine him being completely clueless about any subtle hints. You tell him you are cold sleeping alone at night, and he gets you a thicker blanket. You seductively stretch before him at the end of the day saying your back hurts and you could use a massage, and his first thought is to set you up with a prominent Treviso masseur. Zero flirting awareness, just big brown puppy eyes and a kind heart.

honestly i find it kinda hard to believe that kevin would be oblivious to jean's crush on him

it's... very obvious. riko noticed. jeremy noticed. andrew probably noticed. and it's been going on as long as they've known each other

and kevin doesn't seem all that oblivious to these things. he wasn't oblivious to andreil. he wasn't oblivious to jean liking jeremy in the past or now.

he also knows that jean can't say no to him, among other things.

I know this doesn’t actually matter bc Ethan’s academic background has no impact on the actual films, but the fact that Ethan’s dossier in M:I said he has a linguistics/theatre BA and then in Fallout they change it to International Relations & Engineering… something about 90s Ethan being conceptualised as a plucky young agent who’s in way over his head vs 2010s Ethan being conceptualised as an experienced hyper-competent bureaucrat-agent….. probably a combination of 1) Tom Cruise no longer looking like an 80s boy toy in his 50s so you gotta masc up Ethan’s resume 2) the insanity of the stunts Tom Cruise has done in these movies has like backwards-engineered this change in Ethan’s qualifications, he’s not some street-smarts learn-on-the-job guy, he’s a man with a lifelong vocation that was pre-ordained and pre-planned years in advance, 3) neoliberal credentialism looms large over us all, so now we have to collapse any distinction between competence and qualification

John had the audacity to look abashed, scratching the back of his head with a nervous chuckle.

"Something came up and you know Gotham doesn't like me. She is much more used to you and I wanted to introduce bats to you, in case of emergency."

Spoiler snorts, petting a red salamander. "He didn't lose anything." She reassures with a wave, giving an exaggerated smile and raising her brows to show that she's finding it very amusing.

Constantine sputters.

"Ancient knows how Zatanna and Raven deal with him."

Nighteing perks up from the side where he'd looked over the books, some pixie fairies(?) fawning over him? "Raven? You know her?"

Danny suppresses another sigh.

i think keefe should've manifested his legacy powers in neverseen instead of legacy when he fell from the arch during the dividing. he should've been the first ever geokinetic (earth manipulator), and it should've made him open up a hole in the ground because his instincts wouldn't let him hit the ground because he would get hurt. except it turns out gisela overshot and made him too powerful so he opens up a sinkhole all the way to the center of the earth and he falls all the way to exile. and gets trapped there forever and ever and we never have to deal with him ever again. i think this would be funny and also fix many things

So people have been discussing Scarecrow as Battinson's next rogue which would be good and obviously Joker's always a possibility (wish he wasn't that clown should die for good)

But I want Two-Face

I want Battinson's Bruce Wayne to reintroduce himself to society and to befriend Harvery Dent and grow close all while trying to find this (maybe masked at the time) Coin flipping new villains

The plot twist possibilities if they do it well the trauma for Batman

They could even do it in a third movie if they do Scarecrow for the second. Scarecrow causing fear and issues for Batman, while Bruce reintroduces himself to high society and Gotham by paying for Gotham's rebuilding and befriending Harvey during this time.

Ok so - stop screaming it's just me - so we know Experiment!Wheeljack can growl and hiss and stuff, but can he purr? And/or does he act animalistic in other ways (territorial, gets the zoomies, etc)? (You explored some of this in the chapter where he's staying at the original Autobot outpost, but I keep having Thoughts™ about our favorite gremlin Wrecker so I came here to chat about him😅) Ok that's all, I'll just be going now

Good question! I don’t think he can purr exactly the same way that a cat does, but he definitely can! Much in the same way he growls via grinding the sections of his throat together + engine noise he could probably also purr. So kinda weird sounding but recognizably purring

He also ABSOLUTELY gets the zoomies. He learned how to control it when he was with the Wreckers back on Cybertron, but it still slips out sometimes (like when June found him on the ceiling). Lights and sharp movements attract him, so he would in fact chase a laser pointer. Shockwave probably figured that one out the hard way while making calculations. He naturally walks very quietly and has a tendency to freeze up and try to stalk anything perceived as prey. He also sometimes has the urge to just get up and walk around randomly (which Ratchet also got to see when he caught him sneaking out to check on Bulkhead)

He’s learned to suppress most of the more animalistic urges around other bots. Back when he was on the Jackhammer alone he was quite literally bouncing off the walls, crawling around on the ceiling, biting the leg of his berth, etc.

Personally I think if he cut loose in the Autobot base it would go something like this

I wish to see more of Donald’s resentment and sense of hate after finding about the truth of his cybernetic body.

The idea of having lost his sense of self, the existential dread, the loss of autonomy and the right to die being nulled. I can imagine that when given the time, he contemplates on it and that horror, that resentment, that dread— all of it can concoct into an unspeakable anger. Rage maybe.

Anger for the fact that they did this to him. Anger for the fact that he can’t simply just die until they find no use for him anymore, and god knows whenever that’s gonna happen. Anger that he doesn’t even have the right to die, to rest in peace. That he will only live to be a tool and weapon for a nameless amount of time, to serve the government. To serve Cecil.

And I can imagine that though it’s not addressed between the two of them, Donald holds that against Cecil. Sure, the director of the GDA isn’t the only one to blame for what’s been done to Donald. And Donald knows he can’t do so much as resign or turn back or leave — even if he tried so hard to do so. It’s not like he can go against the gov’t as a whole, that’s just a fruitless fool’s play anyway. But that doesn’t erase the fact that he will continue to feel that resentment stir inside his sturdy, clanking chest. Nor does it evade the feeling of something worse cradled in his guts.

So, who else can he hold that feeling towards other than Cecil himself? The blame has to go to someone anyways. Even though it shouldn’t, and even though it’s childish at best.

And while it’s intrusive and unspeakable to think about, sometimes Donald wonders what it would be like to cave his metal fish into Cecil’s skull.
