no because I would not have SURVIVED an Ed/Stede dance scene. I would have collapsed. Just. Picture this:

The crew is messing around doing fun dances to sea shanties, linking arms, etc. Ed is finally letting loose and wants to dance, and Stede has only ever taken formal ballroom dancing classes so he has no idea how to dance informally.

So Ed is like “don’t put so much thought into it, just fuckin dance” and links their arms and sweeps Stede into the frenzy of crew mates dancing. They just dance with Ed’s guidance and Stede has no idea what he’s doing but he’s with Ed so he can’t bring himself to care. Eventually they get into the rhythm of it, swinging and spinning around, and Ed dips Stede because he’s a romantic when he wants to be, and Stede can’t help but kiss Ed’s stupid face. It’s a very sweet moment and of course they get annoying whistles form the crew (Roach would be SO obnoxious about it <3) but neither of them care.

Bonus points if Lucius is shy about dancing and Black Pete is bringing him out of his shell. Extra Bonus Points if Olu thinks he’ll have to help Jim dance bc Jim is pretty serious most the time but turns out Jim is an AMAZING dancer and takes Olu completely by surprise. Frenchie is playing the shanties on his lute. God I should go to sleep
