All sfth youtube videos have been subtitled in English by the amazing subtitle team, as well as many other languages too!! The people who have done them are credited in the video descriptions. Patreon subtitles are being worked on, currently all the Patreon improvised plays are subtitled and some of the fringe shows :)

Unfortunately some sfth videos (especially on tiktok) have been stolen and uploaded as an attempt to impersonate sfth’s account. Please try to report these accounts!! Sfth are verified now, so it’s easier to see which is the real them.

Obviously there’s no rules on tumblr but as a general courtesy to the guys, consider keeping in mind:

I’m exceptionally curious to know the process of writing your fics, etc. How do the ideas come and how you unravel it into a story or whatever it is. I’m super obsessed with your chat au with every jjk character as it is so well-written and portrayed accurately. Your mind needs to be studied 🙂‍↕️

and thank you ur so sweet :(( i have very detailed imagination so when i get an ask for a smau or a fanfic ill think about it when i go to sleep and the whole thing plays out in my head, usually ill just sleep on it and put in all into reality the day after but sometimes the vision is so vivid and has lots of details that ill have to make small notes for myself so i get everything down

sometimes i’ll write smaus or fanfics the same day i post them but its the same thing, for fics ill start writing and the story will just unfold in my brain and ill write it down as it goes :p

even for my smaus, for example, i’ll single out gojo in my brain and using whatever prompt i chose i’ll imagine a convo with him and that’s how i make my smaus :3 taking time to let it play out in my head makes it more realistic and individual so overall its just a very mental process

Do you have any tips on for people starting a comic and wanting to post to tumblr? Like pacing ect. Or well any experience you’ve had with your comics? Love your content as well ❤️

If it’s simply for fun, and you’re just trying to gain experience, my biggest advice would be to just START. Don’t worry about it looking perfect. Don’t worry about comparing it to other’s comics. Just try something, and if you find it’s not working, you can always change things up. I have gone through several styles and page layouts since starting. Do I wish those first pages of EW looked just like what I’m doing now? Yes, but if I’d waited around for perfection I would have never started. And I wouldn’t have had nearly as much fun creating it! If people like it, that’s great, but your art is for you. If you’re growing and learning and having fun, then you’ve accomplished something!

Now for some less preachy advice 😂…

—If your comic is gonna be hosted on Tumblr specifically, I would say, make sure you keep the 10 image limit in the back of your mind when you’re pacing things. That can definitely cause some headaches down the line. If you don’t plan ahead, and end up hitting it, you’ll have a sudden cut in your flow. This last update I knew it was gonna be long, so while I did plan, but I could’ve planned better.

—Variety is key!!!!!

Composition changes keep your viewers from getting bored. Sometimes I’ll find myself falling back into the bad habit of just doing the simple back and forth with two characters talking straight on, but changing the camera angle, making establishing shots when you change locations, and over the shoulder shots, etc etc…All these will make for a more interesting viewing. You may think a character needs to be in every single panel to make it interesting, but if you have a lot of dialogue, a simple plain shot—either in top of a solid background, or just over something boring, like a glance at the set, etc—this will let people focus on the words rather than splitting their focus.

Variety applies to shading as well—whether you’re using color or black/white. Variety in values are SO important for comics. You’re shoving a ton of information in a limited space, so try to keep your values different for items that are close together….it can make things very confusing and turn your line work into indistinguishable blobs if you shade without this in mind.

The top two panels have a variety of darker values and a halftone background—so the next two with Venus, I kept rather simple. I could’ve colored the buildings behind her, but then, she might’ve gotten lost amidst all the grey. There’s not really any trick or solid rule to this, but once you develop your creative eye, you’ll make these choices without even thinking about it.

A few links to helpful tools (they’re all procreate centered I’m afraid 😅)

Outline brush — a free tutorial for Procreate users. This brush kinda mimics the CPS feature that lets you create panels with a nice black outline. I used this brush very often, and it really gives your panels a professional look. Fair warning, it can be glitchy, but it’s free…

Manero Comic Bubbles and sfx — These brushes are not free, so I would recommend maybe getting in your groove before you try them out. They’re by no means necessary, but I’ve just started using them, and they save me so much time. There’s a HUGE selection of shapes, and they go on with a solid white background, so you don’t have to worry about coloring around your dialogue balloons.

So many regrets. I didn't have to do a presentation, I wanted to. I didn't have to wait until the last day before the due date to start prepping. But I did and I did. And the universe decided to add the fucking 32°C for extra suck I guess.

How do you juggle work, school, AND conversion?? I want to get started on my conversion and have made steps to, but it feels nearly impossible when i have almost no days off :( how do you do it??

So, I'm not sure how helpful this is, but I have found that having a flexible job and having to commute to school and shul to be helpful.

I've had shabbos off for the longest time and will have to take off time for my weekly classes for conversion. I've had to significantly reduce my workload because of college, so getting on financial aid was pretty much inevitable. I have to commute to school and shul about forty-five minutes each way, and weirdly enough, it helps me. It definitely forces me to make the most out of all the time I spend to do this.

I'd really say that having a strong community and people you can talk to is imperative. I really hope you either have or will have a rabbi who can work with you for your schedule - my rabbi lives over two hours away, and he's still talking about making plans to have coffee or hike to talk.

I hope this answer might have given you some ideas - I've planned my schedule almost completely around my education, and I treat my conversion as an extension of my college career. In that sense, I guess I never thought of it as "juggling," so I'm really worried that I might not have the best advice for you, especially because we most likely have vastly different workloads and education and whatnot. If anything, I just hope you take out of this that you are welcome to speak with me, and I hope hope hope you have or will find a community that really makes you feel welcomed and loved. Sometimes, even that small blessing makes it easier

Howdy!! Love this blog a lot hehe, I really enjoy looking over submissions of characters I know, but never considered as being autistic and getting new perspectives of them

A little curious, though, how do you guys usually go about putting out pulls? Is it in alphabetical order of character name/fandoms, sorting through all new submissions before posting them, or by how recently they were submitted? Or is it just by random?

We do it in batches. So right now we have April submissions collecting and those submitted around February in the queue. If I think a submission is older then they will obviously move it to the front.

While we/I queue/draft the polls in order of submission (oldest submitted first). We don't post in order. We may get a person submitting like 5 characters from Hazbin Hotel in a row. So to not be repetitive, I/we then shuffle the queue for diversity.

We also run @aretheybisexual and so tonight i'll be trying to add more characters to the queue there.

Depends on my energy levels/spoons.

I'll be honest the last time I saw buggy before the impel down arc was aaaaalllll the way back in 2009 after school during the first german airing of the first 300and something episodes which is also when I got introduced to one piece. (op didn't get a german dub til 2003 and also only very slowly until it picked up a following)

My school schedule changed then and I'd always come home way too late to catch any episodes of it until many years later when there was one day a week where I'd get home before 4pm and that happened to be just around the time when impel down was freshly done with german synchro and being broadcasted.

and uhhh it took me until today, my most recent rewatch of the show, to realize that buggy had indeed always had long hair and the blue tassles on his hat were just his friggin hair????

Hi anon! Firstly yes I can do your stimboard (although that may have to be tomorrow)!

Secondly I would LOVE to make something based off an au and/or fic! Even if it doesn't make sense I would love to do this :D

However, I feel like I should set some rules:

The fic/AU must not violate the DNI (ie being about a 'proship' or glorifying something gross).

I will also say that, if the AU has a lot of smut in it, I would probably mark it as 18+ only to interact (fics that have nsfw jokes are fine, I'm referring to fics marked as having explicit sex scenes)

Can I ask what’s the reasoning behind 20 being the cutoff age and not 18?

yes! i know it is a weird boundary so i am more than happy to elaborate.

irl i am a high school teacher. i have students who are 18/19 years old, and it makes me really uncomfortable to think that what if one of them is on my tumblr. i can admit that it's a bit paranoid of me, but it's a boundary that i need to have to stay sane. almost everyday of my life is me putting out fires with 18/19 year olds and i just need a break.

i also have a sneaking suspicion that not everyone who says they are 18/19 is 18/19. and while i cant do anything to keep you from lying about your age, i do see when people who are under 20 follow me and then change their ages. like i said, i work with yall almost every day of my life, i'm not dumb. and i was a kid on the internet once, too.

i understand that it can be really exciting to find lesbian works on tumblr, which is why i dont always block right off the bat and post a lil warning message. i don't have a long dni, my only requirements are that you're over 20+ and not a spam liker.

however, not to be a teacher, but it's important to respect other's boundaries even without a reason. if there's a dni on someone's page, it's part of tumblr culture to respect that dni even if you don't understand it or don't agree with it.

anyways! just please respect this boundary of mine. it makes me feel safe on tumblr. i like not having a lot of followers and this helps a lot too :) you are more than welcome to follow when you turn 20!
