You came here all the time, a small bookstore just off campus that held a few copies of books that the library didn’t. And, of course, some novels you’d purchase here and there for your own private reading collection. It was your haven, your safe space, a place where your heart beat slower despite the iced coffee you’d sip as you skimmed though pages at your usual table.

Except, something was distracting you out of the corner of your eye. The gold glint of a pinky ring attached to a big hand holding an old leather-bound book. Thick and surprisingly nimble fingers flipped the pages, although you knew that wasn’t a reading pace, and when you looked up, icy blue eyes weren’t even on the novel. They were on you.

Your cheeks instantly grew warm and your thighs pressed together on instinct as you pushed yourself out of your chair. Perhaps a walk through the aisles would be good to help you cool down, except your racing heartbeat had you moving swiftly. You looked behind you to make sure no one had followed just as you had reached the end of a shelf. As you turned the corner you were abruptly stopped by a wall.

Except…it was actually a chest. A broad, firm chest, covered in a sweater. The one you wore last week when you might’ve made him breakfast in his dorm while his roommates were out.

In a blink, your back was pressed up against the stacks, a warm hand brushing up the stocking on your thigh, reaching the bare skin under your skirt. You threw your head back, eyes threatening to flutter shut, but your logical brain was fighting to stay at the surface.

“Ransom. What are you doing here?” Your whisper was bordering on a little too loud.

He smirked so slyly, his eyebrow raising in tandem with a shrug. “Missed you, Princess. That a crime? Plus you look so cute when you wear your reading glasses.”

Your hand darted to his wrist as his finger began to trace over your slit in your cotton panties.

“No, but public indecency is. And I thought we couldn’t risk anyone seeing us together. Not yet at least.”

His presence was looming and you couldn’t deny that your stomach did a delightful swoop at the way he caged you in. The way you could tell his fiery blue eyes wanted you so badly. Which is why you didn’t contest as he pushed the gusset aside and slid a thick finger into your slick entrance as his head fell into your neck and he placed a gentle kiss to your collarbone.

“Right now, I don’t care if anybody sees. I just want you.”

Well we can’t hear the episodes anymore but I’m sure sharise had a lot to say about Vince and I love that for her.

Let out the toxicity. I like the podcasts more than the ex wives of rock show because she says more but I mean when you have a reality show where it runs 30 min each and be a whole girls trip I guess that’s what happens

Oh, she definitely got out how she felt about Vince. But there were sweet things that she did say about him as well. Bobbie on the other hand doesn't play. She's straight up. And she doesn't like to sugarcoat anything. She's a tell-as-it-is type of person.

Curtis doesn't have to ask to know you've had a bad day. Honestly, the fact you don't try to hide your emotions is one of the reasons he loves you. He never has to ask, never has to guess, because you'll tell him or show him how you're feeling.

But when it's the third day in a row of you getting home from work, and you've clearly been wanting to cry, Curtis needs to ask about it. He wraps you in your favorite blanket and holds you to him before he gently asks you to tell him what's going on.

You explain that your boss has been on a warpath and you're their favorite target. No matter what you try, how hard you work, there's always something that they complain about.

Curtis encourages you to cry, talk, whatever you need to let it all out. The entire time he's being incredibly gentle with you, from his touch to his tone. He's already planning on getting you some new Sylvanians and you'll definitely be getting your favorite breakfast in the morning. For now, though, you're in his arms and you're safe.

The next day you're dreading the moment your boss comes in. They're actually running late, which is quite a surprise to everyone. Almost as much of a surprise as your boss walking in, looking scared out of their mind.

They approach you, shakily saying, "I want to apologize for my behavior of late. I should not have treated you so harshly. I will be doing better moving forward."

You wonder what the hell is going on but then you get a text from Curtis, "hope you have a better day today than you have been."

What kind of relationship do you imagine Bruce and Brandy's children having with their uncles. Do you think they all individually have a favourite or do you think they as a group bond with one of them more than the others?

Do you think they'd get along well with their unofficial aunts, Poppy and Viva?

Hmm... I think each of them have a favorite, and I think it is for the differing personalities I assume they have :)

Like, for example, his daughter who spoke about the government sounds a bit intellectual, so she and Clay would probably have some serious talks

Ketchup Kiddo probably doesn't think things through (a fault I headcanon John Dory has) which is probably why he ended up in the ketchup bottle in the first place. He and JD would get along.

Floyd would become a favorite since he'd probably spoil the kiddos with cookies and other treats. Branch would probably try his best in keeping them in line, but fail, since they'd easily rope him into their antics (particularly when they ask him to sing for them)

Poppy seemed pretty enthused discovering Bruce had kids in the first place, and encouraged the kids in getting hyped for their dad's performance, so I think they'll like her.

And, given that Viva has been officially described as "Poppy x 1000," I think she will definitely be getting along with the children as well 🙂
