For voting on which power was best, attendees voted animus magic.
Brianna C Walsh was the special guest, she talked about how she met Tui and how Tui recommended Scholastic to her, which is how her art career got a big push. She showed off an unfinished robot she's working on (pictured in the third image).
Tui read an excerpt from The Hybrid Prince, unknown at this time if it was the same as the last or different.
She answered questions by fans, unknown what these questions are as of now.
Tui says she wants to flesh out characters like Auklet, Mink and Bumblebee before focusing on "future" dragonets like Firefly.
Tui says she left The Flames of Hope on a good ending in case she was finished with the series, but decided characters like Umber still needed their stories told and didn't want to leave it up in the air.
Tui says The Hybrid Prince will be a small jump to the past, shortly after Sora and Umber fled Jade Mountain Academy.
